Re: Question about map/cities/towns
I'm going back and forth on this in my head.
I think that AI settings will help, but David and I really haven't seen to what extent the AI settings are useful yet. At one point, we were talking about introducing high end NPCs that operate using the AI system. Harder to take down than normal NPCs, which I suppose could be a good way to test how effective those are, and if they could justify eliminating the hitter cap.
Though I'm not sure when that would be ready. He and I are currently working on: Game optimization > the mobile version > enchanting > chapter 8 > assorted bug fixing
We'd probably need to shuffle around and resort our priority list, which seems like a lot just to test/show the benefits of one system.
Though yeah, theoretically AI could potentially really change the PVP game, especially if people are clumping with allies.
I'm a little less certain about traps. What's the logic behind making it so you can load a square down with one of every kind of trap?

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
Defensive strategies mostly. Unpopular, I know.
I'm sure there are offensive means too, but I've not used them offensively since the solo territory battle Liz did.
I'm just finding traps lack luster. Or maybe crafting in general.. Save gun making or sword making. Nah...mostly the trap aspect. If a cap remains..which it probably will, maybe a little higher of a cap. Two traps does little imo unless shock cage or the toxic one. Most are dodgeable.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
Wasn't there a reason for the limitation on traps?

I'm still sad about not being able to put sensor alarms down in public places. When the last one at the door to Alex's shop was taken, I actually cried a little. >.< Yes. I am a very silly person.

Wow. Just 1..thought was 2. Now I'm even more understanding why people don't go into crafting other then to make weaps
Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
Yeah. And I still argue the 'reality' of it, too. lol ;)
IRL I have lived in places where I had 'booby-trapped' up the only ways in or out and I never ever relied on just one (or even just three, lol) traps to keep my arse safe.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
I should point out having multiple traps in one location once made one's faction base near impossible to attack the members who would be on the top floor while everyone else had to fight their way up.
Edited to make what I meant clearer.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
