Where did he go?
Gideon wondered when he suddenly found himself...alone. The guy looked left, right then did a slow three-sixty to make sure he was a.) Where he was supposed to be; rather where Gideon started out at, and b.) He was in fact, actually alone.

Gideon let out a half snort, half sigh, before he shook his head. "Figures." The paladin said with a roll of his eyes, before a final, full fledged snort came from him.

It figured for two reasons in Gid's mind. Every vampire he had ever ran into wanted to be just that: a vampire. And the 'rare,' one that claimed he didn't want to be-just proved otherwise. Turned to his vampire powers. "Real believable." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. He had the vampire's picture, they'd meet another night when hide and seek wasn't on the table.

Every night he'd go through the same routine, write down his memories, pickpocket, avoid the larger crowds, hide in the sewers. Nothing was new. He almost wanted something to happen, almost wanted to be sent back again, back to the shadows. Sure, it was a terrible place. But he didn't feel the need to do anything about it. And yet, he didn't want to do it himself. Nor did he want to just go out and challenge someone to kill him.

He was just, less careful, hoping something out of the ordinary would happen and by some miracle...well he wasn't sure what he was expecting. It wouldn't change anything, nothing ever did. He'd tried to use drugs once, by the records of it it was absolutely useless. He assumed that was due to a vampires natural healing abilities but it didn't make him feel any better about it. It just meant he couldn't get out of his misery.
