Yes. They are just vampires, so they'd act like vampires in every way except for the fact that they go feral, and are able to jump between the real world and the SR.Amalea wrote:Could a Blood Thief theoretically feed on one then for their powers?

What would happen to a shade if someone deleted a cured human?

Or took up the cause then lost interests after a few epic posts and abandoned it to vacation mode?

The shade vanishes. That's not to say that the shade is dead, but they won't exist on grid anymore, due to the way the game is made.Enver Marshall II wrote:What would happen to a shade if someone deleted a cured human?

Re: Questions about the 'Shade'
Yeah I guess I'll have to make it so that characters who are in vacay modes don't have shades who attack people. Otherwise people who are anti-peace could just take the cure and then go into vacay.Lyonel wrote:Or took up the cause then lost interests after a few epic posts and abandoned it to vacation mode?

Re: Questions about the 'Shade'
Ok so a question regarding Varo's shades abilities.
I have the first level of the uninvited guest thing, which allows me to enter homes.
Does that mean even if I get a dwelling, the shade can attack me? Or perhaps because they can go between realms they can do it anyway?

Re: Questions about the 'Shade'
This vampire shade will regularly lash out on grid, attacking and sometimes wounding random individuals (of all races) who are in public locations
It says pubLic locations. Homes might be off limits?

Re: Questions about the 'Shade'
Homes are off limits, except to the human who created the shade when they were cured. This is because the shade can enter abodes which technically he or she owns anyway. They can also find the human far easier than anyone else, due to the link they have with them.
So in short, you'll still get loads of wounds even if you're in a private home or a fort.

Re: Questions about the 'Shade'
Just to clarify on one matter, before the cure is available as an in-game item:
I actually may not make it an easily available thing. Like...ever.
Or I may. Kinda seems we are putting the cart before the horse.
