I have definitely noticed a correlation between the length of the post and the pause that the forum has in between posting and displaying rewards.

Longer, 2-3k word posts will take a lot longer to report in on rpp gain than a 500 word post.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the longer posts would take that much longer to go through. Do you guys use a lot of formatting on your posts?

Do you ever see the errors on OOC posts?

I know there have been some issues recently with apparent database corruption which has stopped some posts going through sometimes. We might need to start archiving frequently if it turns out all of this is related.

Hate to suggest this but it's been ages since you moved stuffs to the archive forum I've toyed with the notion of posting to some years old dead rp threads when the bug bites me. (which is rare but the point is still valid. )

Just regular roleplay posts over a thousand words you mean? Not the ones posted by the live RP logs?

If the issue is indeed the size of the database, which I'm not sure that it is.

Yep. Happens with both posts from chat, as well as regular RP posts (especially if they're on the long side).
