It could go that direction again - but it would take time and a lot of RP tagged for peace.Roderic wrote:I keep seeing people say that, but does everyone realize that for months humans were living with vampires fine?
Like, the thing on crownet was green and positive. Idk why everyone thinks the two weren't getting along save a few player characters.
I do think that a lot of vampires sort of rushed in before really feeling out what the consequences might be, and then it sort of snowballed from there. And I can't really speak for anyone but me - but Az is very much in support of peace, and he's also pro-coexistence. Hell, he's adopted at least one human into his family.Esli wrote:Some were on the side of invading and going against the cure trying to get it but yet were all for peace? Especially curious about those who were attacking on behalf of trying to get at the cure but were known to be the most tolerant and welcoming of humans.
However, with so much misinformation going around about the cure, he felt like he had to act. Like I obviously knew about what was going on with the cure, but I didn't feel like it would be fair for me to have Az act on that information, or even have him wait to gather more information since that was likely to influence how people looked at the chapter.
Thankfully, one of Az's fatal flaws is his relentless (and admittedly probably a little foolish), need to protect the people close to him. This time around, that was a little more short-sighted than normal. But that's also a good thing, I think (for him personally, as a character), because growth and development.
Like Az hates being wrong >.>;; LOL
I'm pretty sure the consequences could get more extreme on grid if things continue to deteriorate with human and vampire relations. I will say though that I'd wait to swing the gavel on that one until David has the consequences all posted up.Esli wrote:Now that the results are in play I will admit I hoped the reactions based on general fear to be more extreme. I was in favor of much higher rates for buying blood, shops shutting down, it being impossible to been seen on the streets without attack by hunters or even worse...humans that vamps have bewitched losing their effective hold and being attacked within their own warm blooded inner circles randomly. Blood thieves having difficulty with getting to their source or stomaching their need for it and those typical vamp donors cutting off their generous open lines that make the thieves far more powerful than many vamps on the grid.
