I was on Floor 4 of a Stealth Raid in Gullsburough.
I'd run out of energy to move onto the next floor.

I returned an hour or so later, to find myself across town in water.

I reckon someone finished the raid in the meantime, but I didn't get a message about that.I've only gotten messages about 1) SPLASH! You find yourself in deep water. and 2) And that I've already tried to break into this location today. Nothing about taking too long, or about the raid being over.

Now, I'm trying to get out of the water but am getting:

You cannot move away from this square as you are currently breaking and entering.

When I try to teleport out with a tome:

You cannot teleport right now.

+ The Floor Key is gone from my inventory.



++ I'm attempting the raid with another character and they're in. So the raid isn't over.

poke me if you want me to try to summon you out, I doubt it will work though. I think it's verboten to do a url manip. But. >.> ~coughs~ I bet if you switch to a stuck charry whilt having a tab open on the stealth raid in question on the unstuck charry? So long as you are logged in as the stuck one AND they have smoke bombs in their inventory that they could smoke bomb out.

1) I've had Cyrus smoke out while keeping Bjorn's tab open.

2) Cyrus got: You set off a smoke bomb, which the guards thought was a fire. You slipped away in the confusion.
You escaped the building with loot, without being seen by guards or tripping alarms!
You gained 28 mind EXP. and 21 body EXP.

3) I went back to Bjorn's tab and refreshed, nothing happened.

4) I logged in as Bjorn, leaving Cyrus' http://www.mooncalfstudios.com/pathofth ... oke%20Bomb URL. Hit refresh while logged in as Bjorn and got the smoke out message.


It worked!

You are welcome. ;) Next time (which I hope there won't be) just open the tab then go switch charries. Smoke bombing out the unstuck charry didn't need to be done, so long as your browser is the same and you are switched onto the stuck one, just going to that tab and clicking the smoke bomb should (at least in theory) work.

But yes, BUG. lol :)

If I thought The David might have been around, I'd not have even suggested it at all though, as for fixing purposes having left your vamp stuck might have been more useful for him. While you have it fresh in mind, maybe write down step by step all you did before stepping away and any details leading up to the stuckness happening maybe please? Also I don't suppose you got a screenie or noticed any code while being stuck? Where in the water was it, do you recall? I bet that won't matter, but any extra info or details that could help recreate the bug could be helpful. <3
