The Masque of the Red Death is a specialized game within a game, roleplay inside of roleplay opportunity. If you would like to participate, please sign up here. Note. Even if sign ups occur OOC, all people in character will be invited via e-mail. More details will come once the official start day draws nearer!
A few details to know in advance: I am limiting the number of participants to ten. Of the ten, there will be four roles, those being the detective, the doctor, the red death (a small team of working in tandem), and then the innocents. Roles will be assigned randomly using a random number generator. Posting is going to be kept brief, with a word count of no more than 200 words for post for the sake of posting speed, as people will be allowed to post as frequently as they want save for during 'black out' times (again, more details coming soon). Please only sign up if you have time available to make a few short posts per day!
Sign ups begin below and end on September 3rd (11:55 PM EST), with the event kicking off Monday September 4th and going until the game is complete. First ten players need only apply. Please only sign up one character per person though, to give plenty of people a chance to get involved. Reply here with the character you want involved.
PMs detailing who plays what role will be distributed prior to the game's start. Az will be serving role of game moderator, but is otherwise not going to be involved (and therefor doesn't count towards the total of 10).
