Singular business issue

For two months I have gotten this message for High on Leather.

0h 0m ago: Your business (High On Leather) earned $3282 profit today.
Your reputation is suffering. You should consider hiring better staff or selling better quality goods.

I have upgraded my goods and gotten different staff multiple times. Like, the other business Happy tree Taxidermy has the same amount of people working for it, and crappier goods, yet...nothing I do gets rid of that stupid message.

Help? Suggestions?

if you have 100/100 on your pop and rep, just ignore it....it has no effect on anything except your sanity

Yeah, but they aren't at 100. If they were, I'd ignore it but they're losing something...both are less than 100...

Are you using monstrous mutation? That stuffs your character's charisma, and causes you to get that reputation message. I've been stung a few times since the changes in the time businesses pay out.

Okay, I keep losing reputation. I've fired all the staff (NPC's) and decided to hire a new person (instead of 2).

I'm just wondering how a place can be popular and have good staff morale, but the reputation sucks.
