Businesses and viruses and intelligence stat [hold]

Does intelligence counter the likelyhood of someone planting viruses in a business anymore? I've someone at an intelligence level of 35, maxed out for one of my businesses and someone has been easily putting viruses into my business for a few days now, which is getting annoying. I can see at low intelligence levels, but if someone is maxed out in that area and nothing can combat that virus planting, what's the point of having staff at all?

Can we check to see if businesses are working right in conjunction with character stats? Ty

The calculation works like this: network security = ((rep + pop) / 50) + (key staff stats / 3 [for clerical] or 5 [for security]) + 5

That's summing it up rather than showing the exact formula as it is in the code, lol.

So the things that factor in are...
- Reputation + popularity of your business.
- Clerical staff intelligence stat, or key stat if an NPC.
- Security staff strength stat, or key stat if an NPC.

You get both staff bonuses if you have both clerical and security staff members.

So the max security level you can get on your business is around 27, with the new stats. Which would be nearly impossible to break into, if you had a max business security rating.

Security is tied to the strength stat. You are correct about that. I suspect typo.

Yeah it was a typo. Though it has since been reported to me that businesses with max stats are being hacked daily without fail. That shouldn't be possible. The chance of failing at that should be pretty high.
