Question about the new rp thingier
Hi! Soooo, I have some questions (go figure).
1. are there different rewards for doing it this way, vs the traditional post on form?
2. More rpp?
I like the idea of something else doing the work for me, do not get me wrong...just wondering the benefits/differences-or is that it?
Like, for example, sometimes I gdoc stuff with someone for like many, many days. RL, ya know? So is it best to just keep doing that or?
Thanks for answering and clarifying for me!

Re: Question about the new rp thingier
This is what I was wondering. If an RP isn't finished can we opt to have the logs posted to the same thread or is always going to be a new one?
We shall soon find out!

Also, why does the last post show up as posted from Doc, when the storyteller account posted last?
that intentional, or a possible bug?

Just a suggestion, maybe it should be clarified that the "/me" does not cross over to the Post.
I was lost for a bit, because I didn't know who was doing what.

Re: Question about the new rp thingier
You can simply type in the same name of the thread you posted to before and it'll post to that thread again, as a new reply continuing the story.Lancaster dArtois wrote:This is what I was wondering. Also please note that bolded character names are now shown on the forum post before each reply.
You should also be aware that /me does not work with this system at all, and I won't be able to get it working, so people should get into the habit of not using that when roleplaying.

Sorry, I missed that question when replying. You think there should be more RPP for it?

Re: Question about the new rp thingier
I, personally, do not. I don't think that people who choose to transcribe their chats into word to make them meet their personal style before posting them, should be penalised for not using this system.

Re: Question about the new rp thingier
Well....maybe?
I mean once upon a time live chats were worth like what 50 percent more?
I think since they are actively rping and eating up grid playing time-that maybe. Idk if I would say 50 percent more (That's up to you), but I think it's difficult to keep rp going live sometimes. Quick thinking and all that.

Re: Question about the new rp thingier
Why did I stop giving 50% extra for live chats? Was it because I was planning on doing this thing with the transcripts?Roderic wrote:Well....maybe?
