Amethysts... an extinct species?

Wiki says they are found in the caverns, rather confident that's not the case (currently).

Jewellery crafting still requires them for the fancies, and at least one of those turn up in the daily jobs, so I assume they are still available somewhere.

Anyone willing and able to point me in the right direction for em?

You have to have really high tracking to find them I believe.

Just ran Doc through there.. picked up some..

Can hand them off if you want?

Tracking makes a lot of sense, in hindsight :)

Happy to stick with the emeralds and sapphires, until I decide to go down the tracking path or not.

Have to have 14 in tracking to see amethysts. Jewel encrusted jewelry will give just a little more xp.

Thanks for the info and offers. I am happy with what I am doing at the moment, knowing it isn't something I should be able to do already :)
