Questions re certain powers
I have two questions regarding powers:
1) How can the Deadeye power miss? Pressumably, only if the target has initiated the Bullet Dodge mastery power, or whatever it's called? In which case, the definition of Deadeye needs changing. Either that or I just had a bug!
2) If someone uses the Claim Abode power from inside business premises that are also inside a public building, should that stop the target entering only the business premises (my thought) or the entire public building (which appears to be the case). If the latter is true, the power is effectively "Claim Abodes".
Many thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that's a bug, because from my experience while the shot can be pretty lousy, as long as you hit the target it's doing its job.Aaron Hunter wrote:I have two questions regarding powers:

I've never seen it claim the entire public building when I've used it before - has anyone else seen it happen this way? Every used to use it while she was hunting and would claim people out of one or the other, but never all.2) If someone uses the Claim Abode power from inside business premises that are also inside a public building, should that stop the target entering only the business premises (my thought) or the entire public building (which appears to be the case). @Castalia
Thanks for your response.
Some additional info may be useful here. I didn't want Aaron to miss with his skirmish attack so I activated the Deadeye power. He missed. My only thoughts are that it was a bug or the target had activated the Bullet Dodge power, in which case the Deadeye definition needs changing, as you can miss. Regarding the potential Claim Abode issue, Aaron's thrall cannot enter The Clocktower (a public building containing many businesses) and gets the "A mysterious force is preventing you from entering" etc message. I'm assuming that this is down to the Claim Abode power as the thrall could enter freely earlier. I'm also assuming (my apologies for assumptions, but if I'm wrong then strange things are afoot at the Circle K) that the caster of the power is in the Kindred Moon Record store inside The Clocktower. In my mind, that should stop the thrall entering the business premises, not the entire building. If the latter is the case, then it would be like someone using Claim Abode on their apartment in the Corvidae Flats but preventing the target entering the entire building. Again, my apologies for having to assume a few things.

Re: Questions re certain powers
If the person used bullet dodge, it probably would have trumped Deadeye based on the way powers have worked in the past. I.E. Mastery powers are 'stronger' than others.
But I would report it as a bug in case something is up.
Could the person have used claim abode on the public building?

@Azraeth
I figured that a mastery power would trump a regular power, so that makes sense. Probably my mistake somewhere :/
The person (if indeed it were them) could have used claim abode on the building, but it seems to make the power pretty strong if it works on an entire building that houses what are effectly lots of small buildings, which is kind of what business premises are. Probably my lack of understanding of the power
Anyway, the "issues" have all been resolved today, so I can get back to freezing my arse off on the slopes :)
Thanks!

sorry. I was just screwing around and getting xp on bei.
I was so focussed on the attacks and powers that had been aimed specifically at my characters that I hadn't even considered the alternative. A schoolboy error by me
Thanks to everyone who offered their thoughts and assistance.
