[Resolved] Curse for alter
I was wondering whether it was acceptable to get curses that apply only to one alter or another of a character with dissociative identity disorder.

Re: Curse for alter
I am not sure I follow, but if you are asking.. can you have a curse that affects your character's interaction with another specific character only.. I would think that is perfectly acceptable.
There have been cases in human events, where the combination of two people result in a deadly mix, because they played off the worst of each other.
It seems logical to me, that with vampires having supernatural abilities, that certain auras, each individual has, would or could connect to another character in a detrimental way.
And I would love to see that happen!
However, if I am wrong with what you initially meant, could you rephrase the question?

Re: Curse for alter
Like person has DID, which manifests Alter A and Alter B.
Alter A has completely blind, whereas Alter B has completely deaf, but Alter A is not deaf, and Alter B is not blind?
If that's the case, then I am fine with it, yeah. It makes some sense even, for extremely distinct personalities.

Josh translated it into something sensical:Doc wrote:However, if I am wrong with what you initially meant, could you rephrase the question?
Each alter manifests due to certain triggers, and each condition has a different set of limitations (irrational fear, anxiety, megalomania, etc). I was simply wondering if it would be acceptable to take all the applicable ones without applying them to everyone at all times. I'm not looking to up her power count without reason (I'll be equally discriminatory with powers too - will likely have contradictory traits given the alters different personalities), so I wanted to make sure that it was okay to tally up her issues before it was potentially misconstrued.Azraeth wrote:Like person has DID, which manifests Alter A and Alter B.

Thank you!
