Hacking??

I'm exploring a raid right now and wanted to test my skills at hacking and this is what I see. http://prntscr.com/d8py6a I do not understand this. I press two buttons nothing happens.. is this a bug or?

Do you have the required software? I get that on my characters that dont have any software..

Yes, I believe it's the Commander script that allows you to just drop-and-click the commands. Otherwise, you have to type it all, and it's a huge pain.

You'll also need the scripts to break through the security as well, but you look like you have at least a mapper? I'm not sure, because all of my hackers start out with at least v1 of everything, but I'm pretty sure you can't see the other squares without a mapper script. You can check and see what you have in your inventory, under the software tab. Your best bet will likely be to purchase all v6's from the auction house, or from a hacker you know on grid. Making them yourself will take a lot of time without source codes. x.x

You must have some level of more sophisticated scripts, because you can only get the squares if you have Mapper, and you do not receive Mapper at creation. So, you either bought it, or it was gifted?

As for your text bar and submit...The Commander script allows you to do the drop down menu of options, but it actually serves as a hindrance if you have any level lower than V6, because Commander costs you some of your moves in the hack...so, you can either spring for V6 from a hacker or the auction, or learn to type the commands yourself. If you HAVE Commander, and have that on your screen...then, yes. That would be a bug. But, from the look the fact that you have 19 moves, depending on your hacking and intel, I wouldn't think you do.

actually made it... I make my own scripts and such.. I'm at level 4 with most of my scripts I make.. Can't wait to get to level 5..
