Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Is there any canon on the Wild Vampires and Masterless Vampires being seen in the sewers?

Previously, evidence hacks added the culprits to known ID list. Now, in spite of coming across certain names over and over and over again, Charlie has no knowledge of their identity. What is the format of evidence hacks now?

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
The shadow would be manipulating darkness to achieve the effect. For example, they might summon darkness to obscure what a camera might 'see' through its lens. Or clear away that darkness for the same effect.Levi DAmico wrote:Could I have clarification on a Shadow Power?
Would anyone be able to explain exactly how it's possible to lower the visibility of cameras?Commander of Darkness: Decrease or increase the security of any location until sunrise. Essentially this power allows the shadow to lower visibility of cameras and humans for feeding or hunting, it also allows the shadow to raise security thereby protecting themselves from enemies by making it easier for them to be spotted by human police and others.

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
The only confirmed canon at this point is that Wild Vampires and Masterless Vampires are vampires who live in the sewers. They are not rogues, but they don't have a lot of self-control. I suppose you might think of them like 'cast offs'. Maybe their sires died shortly after turning them. Or maybe their sires just didn't care. Whatever the case, they aren't actively combating the vampire community (I. E. They abide vampiric laws when those vampiric laws exist), they just aren't very good at controlling their impulse to feed.Myk wrote:Is there any canon on the Wild Vampires and Masterless Vampires being seen in the sewers?

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Well some of that is game mechanics, and I'm honestly not sure if it's meant to be that way or not. The type of evidence found when hacking now is related to police files. So, if a vampire is spotted attacking a human, maybe there's some eyewitness testimony that goes on file. The current evidence (notoriety) hacks are basically getting rid of things like that. Getting rid of small bits and pieces of evidence from police databases before a character has a chance to become massively wanted by police.Charlie wrote:Previously, evidence hacks added the culprits to known ID list. Well. That or planting evidence.

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Are all DoC's (disciples) vampires? Just curious because n'rats can't feed from them at all, but lots seem to ash when they die. Is that a grid mechanic, or something else?

Re: Canon Q&A With Stortellers
Yes, all DoC members are vampires, as far as I understand it. N-Rats should be able to feed from them and Helheim.
If they can't, it's probably a bug. Unless I'm missing something.
