Loot drop

I'm confused about this. I've gotten no loot that I'm aware of on any character. Do we get a notice when we get loot; on grid or? I've posted about two k with a couple characters...I'm just not sure I understand how this works. Or how I know if I got loot, if I even have yet.

Yeah, in the page where you find out how much RPP you've earned.

You have to rack up at least 5,000 RPP before you get a drop (this is a hidden value, however).

So that page tells you something like...you've re earned a feral fang! Ok. Ty.

I'm also confused as to why this value has to be hidden. I'd like to know how close to 5k I am, I think that would motivate me to post more, personally. Right now I feel like I'm close on a couple characters, but yet...I don't actually know. I feel as if I could have already hit that with a couple, but clearly, I haven't.

I actually really liked the system on TWD...is there any way to implement that on the forum, David? I believe it went something along the lines of...you got a bag, or water, or something like that. Is there a way we could get a message like that on the forum itself that pops up along with telling us how much rpp we got for the post?
