As a suggestion that 24 hour deadline is a bit hard on people who are busy, don't log in every day. >.>

Maybe a hybrid Ashley? To give people time to bid over a longer period of time (I gave people about 2 weeks to bid on auctions) and then your 24 hours to close auction between bids is when the auction closes after the bidding deadline is over, could mean people have time to get their bids over time, and then your 24 hour rule thing at the end.

A hybrid of rules may work to solve the issue of timing. Cause it feels like Kaspar could maybe have got more money, if the auction had stayed open longer.

Only up to 50k, and then max bid is apparently 10k. I'm not sure why there is a max bid at all to be fair, but those are the written rules. I don't see why people can't bid whatever the hell they want. It's their IGC they're bidding.

What do the others here think? I'm alright with extending auctions longer, and removing the caps in this case. Originally the bid caps were there to make it so a handful weren't just bid up out of reach of others interacting with them right off the bat. To prevent someone just bidding "1 million" and ending the fun right then and there.

Extend longer (as it is a holiday in the us-remember) and keep the caps. I like the caps for the reason you said, basically.

More time is good, it allows the auction to heat up and really flow, especially when it's on a holiday weekend. As for the cap, I would do it to 100,000 because by then you've weeded out the low bidders, they've had a chance to game which is the point, and then rivalries or other antics may ensue.

(aside: Hell I was planning on coming in toward the end for my purchase or hopeful purchase for Mortll anymind, but now cytherea is on it, game on lmao)
