I don't think it will be easy to coordinate or find a vast number of PC classed humans off the bat for this plot to take towards faction status. However, there are 3-5 characters potentially on the plate as of right now, and I think that it might be interesting to start off small and let it grow insidiously, as things like this would.

For example, start with an unlikely helping hand while trying to subdue a vampire (be it a paladin hunting one, or a blood thief looking for a chomp). That could lead to an IC conversation that would spark the idea of hunting as a duo, then a trio... it could grow as a whole through threads and chats. It could always lead to a few interesting relationships if the larger picture doesn't pick up. However, even small group would be more than enough to set the foundation stones for the idea. Then it'd be a matter of shared ambition, establishing connections, getting the word out, organising themselves.

Mackenzie right now is on the transplant list for a new bone marrow, and has paused induction therapy. In exchange, she's hunting vampires (currently NPCs in the sewers and Foucault) to 'heal' herself. The vampire blood helps curb the cancer cells in her blood. It's not a long-term solution to the problem, but it sure as hell leaves her with a lot more energy than chemotheraphy does. It's also cheaper - albeit more dangerous. She would definitely be inclined to go dark side on this whole thing because of medical expenses, a misplaced sense of morality, and would benefit greatly from becoming / having a sidekick - co-hunter with her considering she is not particularly healthy. At least, that's the angle I'm working Mackenzie into this whole plot. I'm also excited to see how liar, liar curse would fit into this all. As for her proficiencies, they're Leadership, Occult, and Medical. Her attributes focus is dexterity, intelligence, and stamina. Her focal skill is firearms.

I'm curious as to what would draw other characters into this.
What would motivate your character(s) to join in on something like this?

I'd love to throw up a thread for someone and get the ball rolling, then let it steadily snowball its way from there.

Lucas Ballard currently would have no IC reason to be pro or anti vampire though he's a blood thief since his history isn't fleshed out due to a stall in his story arc.

John Doe might be more likely due to his inherent fear of vampires. Strength in numbers makes sense. He'd either try to keep his sister's being a vampire a secret along with a few vampires he's associated with which could be interesting.

I've been looking for an excuse to play John more so I'd likely throw in on a thread like this.
