The week had been a busy one for Kaspar Grube, the lead singer of the band Hel had been writing and recording like crazy, he'd had drama to handle and serious choices to ponder. He'd made new friends and new enemies along the way, grown closer to lovers and felt a nerve inducing distance with others. Kaspar was glad to hear from Enzo, the man already wanting to hire him again for another gig and as busy as he was, the man needed to stay active right now. The pair met up for a drink, a place called the Dragon's Lair where a gorgeous woman took to the stage to sing. He'd seen her around, Enzo mentioned she was someone he knew, closer to his paramour than himself perhaps. Kaspar made a mental note of it, he liked to be aware of performers in town in case he wanted to collaborate on a project or to seek inspiration with fellow artists.
They'd lounged at a table, the men laughing and planning, Kaspar teasing and Enzo giving it right back. It was growing to be an easy friendship, built on respect for business savvy and intelligent conversation without the need to take one's self too seriously. He'd taken the time to suggest live artists at a party, them painting a scene or perhaps the mood, allowing it for the artist to interpret and giving people something else decadent to look at. The arrangement was made, it was easy enough now that Enzo knew Kas's requirements. Most of the meeting was filled with banter, discussing potential costumes and cheeky plans to liven things up. Kaspar had given the man's hand a shake, farewelling him to go and get on with his party planning, he himself opting to stay for a while to listen to the woman sing.
He had a full glass of whiskey to sip at, one of his little black books open and was scribbling away in it, occasionally glancing up to smile and give a polite cheer of appreciation at the end of a song.

(Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy6MpsDPKts)
The woman stood atop the dragon fountain in the middle of the restaurant. Her voice rang out throughout the restaurant as she sang with another woman at the water’s edge. Her white dress cast a beautiful contrast under the cascade of raven locks. Her movements were graceful as she moved across the water spewing beast. The other woman, a young blonde was dressed in a less elegant style. She was dressed for waitressing, not for singing. Both women sang with their hearts, though the raven haired beauty looked as though she were a million miles away from the crowd.
The song closed and both women moved from their places to the floor. Michelle, the blonde, went about her job of collecting orders and delivering food to the patrons. The dark haired woman moved to the bar. Wordlessly, Sam placed a small black cup with red flowers in front of her, a motion well practiced by the co workers. Sake was poured into the cup. She slowly drank from it as she observed the crowd. It was just as busy tonight as it was whenever word of her singing took place.
Another member of the waitstaff approached a table. She smiled brightly at the man sitting there. “Is there anything else I can help you with tonight sir,” she asked.

Kaspar glanced up at the woman as she spoke, he'd noticed the approach but made a point to look distracted, absorbed in his activity out of curiousity mostly, to see what she would do. He wasn't real in need of another drink, he often bought them to have something in front of him for while he could eat and drink there were limits. He'd improved vastly since his turning, it had been an adjustment but he could fake human with the best of them now.
"You can help me with something, I was interested in speaking to the lovely performer. She knows an associate of mine, he suggested we meet. Do you think you might be able to arrange such?" He smiled charmingly up at the waitress, "I'm sure you can."

Re: Songbird ((Tiamat, open))
The girl glanced around in confusion as Kaspar spoke to her. Then when was talking about the show, it hit her. She shook her head slowly as she watched him. “You must be talking about Tia. I can speak to her if you wish. Just don't be surprised if she says no.” She glanced back to the bar where Tiamat was standing. She tucked a stray brown lock of hair behind her as she shrugged.
She hurried off to the bar and spoke to Tiamat. As the waitress wandered off to help other guests, the raven haired bookkeeper and singer made her way to the man’s table. She moved through the crowd with an elegance that one would expect of royalty. She came to a stop at his table and placed a hand on her hip. A delicate diamond ring adorned the forefinger and moved to her thumb.
“Tara tells me you were admiring my performance and wished to speak to me.”

Kaspar stood as the woman approached, extending a cool hand towards her. "Indeed, I am a friend of Enzo's, we were just meeting to discuss plans for his upcoming party and he suggested I stick around to check it out. It was very... Grandiose. I'm more of a band on stage, simple lightning kind go guy. Though I have to be more careful with lighting choices since..." He let it trailed off, a slow smirk curving his features. He wasn't about to yell about being a vampire out loud. "A change in status. Would you join me?" He offered a seat.
