The amount of response has been overwhelming. I'm so grateful to everyone who has commented and offered their help. I'll get in touch privately rather than replying to everyone separately in a single thread. I'll definitely be taking up many offers, and I'm excited about the prospect of crippling him instead of killing him, as it would give me more to work with (and more options for interactions).

As for grid stuff, I'll definitely be contacting all the people, because all the help is appreciated.
