Yvette smiled at Dominique gratefully as she stepped out of the car. The chill of the night air brushed her skin once more and she touched her arms. The cold seemed more harsh after the gorgeous warmth and beautiful company. Yvette stood still for a moment, before reaching into her pocket. Finding the card there, she smiled happily, and placed it in the seat where she had recently sat. Looking back up at Dominique, she explained.

“It is the phone number for my apartment. I do not carry a cellphone, because the night sweeps it away into the dream lands so often. I would like to see you again, without the cold and with shoes, if that would be okay. You are the first nice person I've met outside of my family, and Mackinsey likes you. Although I think it's more the beautiful vehicle you drive.” As she spoke, Yvette's voice grew more dreamy, until she'd lost focus again, looking at the woman's face with an bemused smile.

The girl looked at her for a moment longer, then turned to head into the temple. Her blond hair spilled down over her shoulder as she bent her head forward trying to guard from the wind until she was safe inside. She paused, turning and straightening slightly, waving towards Dominique and the car before pushing open the door and heading inside. It closed behind her with a soft swish.

The warmth of the temple sank into her skin, and Yvette released a delighted sigh. It was a relief for the heat, even after only a few moments of the biting cold. Her eyes closed in happiness, and she leaned back against the door. The small snowflakes began to melt, trailing icy tears across her skin, and she shivered, muttering under her breath.

"I really do not like this cold anymore. I wish I could breathe fire. I'd put it all around me and be warm always."
Have I gone mad? I'm afraid so.... but let me tell you a secret. All the best people are.

He rubbed a finger down the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes to take one last unneeded breath before shoring up to leave the quiet sanctuary. Just taking to his feet, a small voice sounded somewhere around his ear... from the inside. Tilting his head, he knew the feel of mindspeak, but this was fainter as if afraid to really push and he knew then who it was. The allurist slid from the row of pews, immediately heading to the doors to answer the call. Just as he was opening the doors, Yvette spilled in, straight into his arms and he shook his head with a smile. His sister had a unique grace... spiritual rather than physical... catching her up as she turned to wave at a car, the dragon narrowed his gaze as he looked it over, not recognizing it but admiring it.

"Yvette precious, where have you been? It's frightful weather out there.." he looked to see if the young vampress was wearing shoes and heaved an inward sigh seeing her feet. "You managed a ride I see?" Whoever it was clearly was not human as they were still upright and not missing any important bits, so it had to be a pather or a fang. Enzo leaned toward overwhelmingly protective of his sister, she needed freedom to grow and blossom into her own unique powers without silly things like everynight life interfering, so he strode outside to either thank her benefactor or throttle them. It didn't make a difference to him which it turned out to be.

Easily making short work the distance to the car, he again couldn't help admire the beast, it was a work of art with moving parts. Stopping at the drivers side he held up both hands in an 'I mean no harm' gesture and smiled... he supposed if he ended up shot he would have his answer on friend or foe.

Dominique nodded at the number that was left visibly in the passenger’s seat as Yvette exited the car. She braced the door open until the woman was clear of it and allowed it to close gently pressing her open hand at the door until it was sealed tight. Beneath the snow that was falling the shadow stood quietly watching. The flakes landed and sprinkled across her face and her lips. They stayed formed, the coolness of her skin preserving them longer than they would have been if the night was a couple years back. HOPE and LESS slid into her jacket pockets briefly until she was sure the barefoot Dragomir was safe and somewhere warm where she belonged.

Stepping around the back of the car had her shoes kicking up the snow as she made her way around to the driver’s side. The door was open and moved with ease as LESS pulled it out enough so that she could slide into the seat and close the door once she was settled. HOPE fastened the seatbelt that really was no longer needed to preserve her life but certainly was still the law. It kept her off the radar and was keeping her deep in the custom seat. Just as she was about to take off and head off to the last delivery a male appeared catching her attention. She closed one eye as the hands went up in some sort of sign.

As if empty hands meant anything. Dominique knew there were powers out there that could be as simple as a thought to generate it’s use. Damn telepaths. Who the guy was she did not know and really had no reason to. Just like the female that had left her car only a minute or three prior. Not that she was too worried about what was up. She could handle the unexpected and had no trouble doing it with little effort. Another Dragomir? Most likely. Perhaps it was a good idea to let her window down and let the guy know Yvette was found only shortly before and in the condition she walked into the temple. Dark chocolate eyes darted over to the temple then back to the window that disappeared in the door. The rumble of the engine greeted her as well as more snowflakes which she dusted off her lips with a subtle sweep of HOPE’s fingertips.

“I found her across town. No shoes. Glad someone is there for her.” Dominique was thinking that would be enough. It was what happened, no harm, no foul. "Hopefully she will be okay." Her eyes glanced ahead where she was intending on driving as soon as the man confirmed that their business was limited to Yvette. Her head dipped and turned to the left once again to focus back on him.

slowly lowering his hands back to his sides the allurist could see it was a female behind the wheel and she was not looking to stay long. He could understand that well enough but he felt he owed her. As she spoke he sighed inwardly, his sister was going to be half of his gray hairs if he was able to get them. Nodding to the woman he finally spoke when she had finished "Thank you, I am Lorenzo Vaughn Dragomir and am grateful you took the time to aid my sister Yvette." he smiled then, glad that it wasn't anything that could cause trouble later down the road "I would offer hospitality, it's miserable out here tonight... but I can see you are hurried."

he left it with the open ended invitation, if she wanted to correct him and wait out the storm she was able, if not then it was at least offered. "Beautiful car." he couldn't help but say, his love of speed and power was notorious within his family and he smiled again as he admired the machine. Sensing Yvette behind him, he simply held out his arm and wrapped it over her shoulders, pulling her close to the shelter of his larger frame.

"You are quite lucky you were found by someone feeling kind tonight lovey." his London accent pulled the words into a form of elegance all their own. He took his suit jacket off and draped it over the slight figure of the blonde, though she didn't need it for warmth it protected her from the elements and curious gazes of passerby. He once again turned his smile of thanks on the benefactress, filing away the kindness into his memories.

”It was no effort really. Certainly not out of my way.” That was hardly true. It would take too long to explain she still believed in karma and that what goes around comes around. The car was mentioned. ”Thank you. It is a work in progress.” She gave a slight nod then pushed the button to advance the driver's side window slowly upward. Just before it reached the level of her chin she spoke.”Have a good night.”

The raise of LESS revealed her empty open palm to the inside of the window. Once she shifted the corvette into gear the increased power behind the rumble announced she was leaving. HOPE reached over to the passenger's seat and plucked the small card up with the phone number on the surface to an apartment Yvette mentioned. Dominique flipped it over and found nothing else but empty space. She reached up and tucked it in the small pocket on the sun visor above her head.

The travel of the car slowed considerably at the first intersection as the light shifted in favor to those in the other lanes waiting. Once the vehicle was at a full stop Dominique looked into the rear view mirror to the cars lining up behind her. The sound of her Bluetooth in her ear announced the customer was growing impatient for her delivery. She prompted the call to be answered and waited for the chatter on the other end to cease.

”Relax. I am about five minutes away. Meet you at the door.”

The call closed and she tugged the device from her ear. Once the package was dropped off the rest of the night in all its rare form was hers to enjoy far from the city beneath the sky on the rooftop of Vita Bella. On a night like the one in full swing there was no other place she could possibly be.

Yvette wandered back out, following Enzo. She didn't think there would be a problem, but she wanted to ensure her lovely acquaintance with the beautiful car wouldn't be bothered for assisting her.
She should have known better than assume terrible things from Enzo, who was always the gentleman first. She offered a wry grin as he placed first his arm, then his jacket around her. Burrowing in its warmth, she looked fondly up at her brother, shaking her head as she laughed softly. "The dreams and shadows flitted me away tonight, so they carried me home," she stated. The buzzing and cacophony of the calls of things surrounding and within the city and around her were louder once again, as if to make up for the silence earlier. She nudged her head into his chest, then stared off at the snow, as it began to coat her face, covering pale blonde hair and lashes with delicate crystals. She put out a hand to touch the snowflakes, oblivious to any passerby as her pale arm nearly glowed in the night. "Soft cries out, hope falters, blood stains. Wash away pristine to begin anew.," she murmured into the cold, before taking a deep breath in. She blinked slowly, scattering the snowflakes, and looked back at Enzo. "We should go back into the warmth, dear brother. Even Dragons scatter from riches in the cold."
