In the spirit of promoting new rp and getting new players to stick on path (because we really need and want new blood!), I asked David if I could promote a contest for anyone that is new to win a slot under Atabei as a second generation character in the Mourinwa Bloodline. He said that would be absolutely fine, as he wouldn't have to tell me any private info based off my simple criteria. He would just check to see if they are 'new.'
Criteria:
- Must be rp friendly! This is an rp contest, as I can't tell who is legit new on grid, or who is a bot. Sorry gamers/grinders.
Must write and complete 4 threads by June 30th @ 11:59 central time. There is no must write x amount of words per post, or number of pages count. Just start it and complete it!
Just pm Atabei's account with the links to all the completed threads and I'll add your name to the potential winners list that I'll create on a second post in this thread.
New path players! Anyone who has registered and is new to path from April 1st-June 30th! David said that he would validate the claims of someone being a new player as best as he could, and that works for me.
I have no slots atm, but don't worry! I will pay for the ritual to be done and have all the ingredients by the time the winner is announced. In the event more than one person is interested and has completed the criteria, I will ask David to toss the names into a dice roller/random generator and he will announce the winner-so everything is as fair as possible to the path players and writers.
About Mourinwa:
Atabei is the 'leader' of the Bloodline, recently returned after being killed a handful of days before the Holocaust due to being a necurat. Someone didn't really appreciate being fed off of and since that was a big taboo in the days of old, she met an early demise. She wasn't all that old, she was only about ten years old as a vampire before she was sent to the realms, and her sire wasn't a follower of the old code, so Atabei knows very little to nothing about this old code.
The motto to the bloodline is, "It is not for us to judge, but for us to understand." Atabei's core premise exists and revolves around the Haitian vodoun/American Voodoo concepts and believes we are who we are because the lwa's more or less drive people to be true to themselves and their core nature. There are a fair few N'rats (necurats) in the lineage and a broad spectrum of characters-so there is no right or wrong character creation for this bloodline. Diversity is graciously accepted and welcomed, from the 'head' on down.
