‹Kaspar› “I’m watching you baby boy.” The words startled Kaspar, leaving him turning on the spot where he stood in the slums and seeking out a face in the shadows. He darted around the corner once more, looking to see if she had followed him. Was he going mad? He heard her, but he was convinced her voice had been within his mind. “Eva?" He whispered, to maintain his cool, to keep up with his activities. She was watching him, huh? Well, then he'd show her exactly what he was up to. He slipped inside the building he'd been heading towards; stalking after a dodgy gangster he had plans for. He slipped up behind the man, grabbing him to pull into his embrace a hand found his throat, hard enough to bruise, Kaspar wanting to leave the man with bruises. He hesitated a mere moment before sinking his teeth into the exposed flesh at the side of the gangster’s neck. He took his fill of blood before knocking the man out, leaving him dazed, taking his weapons, his drugs and the money he’d made from what he’d already sold. "Just cleaning up the streets, sweet beautiful.” He panted to the stale air around him, his thumb lifting to brush a drop of blood from his lip. Maybe his sire could see through his eyes, could speak to him, some weird vampire thing. He'd ask her next time she made a physical appearance.
<Eva> Eva sat relaxing on the chaise lounge it had been some week and she was taking a little time to herself. She let her mind wander to her new protégé. It was easy to slip inside his mind, read his memories. She smiled as she checked in on him again after sending him her little message. "Silly boy, so much violence you need only bite! Your bite is venomous, no need for violence, he will wander around without knowing who he is much less you my beautiful childe "
‹Kaspar› Winced at the voice in his head again, even worse the voice was trying to chastise him. "Eva? How do you do that? I know the violence unnecessary, but this one... I wanted to leave a message. He was selling drugs to young people, too young and so I’ve confiscated his guns, the remaining drugs and his dirty money. He'll be fine tomorrow, but he'll be sore." He wished then he could see her face, perhaps sit at her feet, rest his head upon her lap and speak with her. What a strange thought, a strange desire for a man like Kaspar to have. He wanted her; he wanted this woman to be his wise teacher, and that heartbreaker husband of hers too.
<Eva> Eva smiled as she spoke to her boy once more; she wanted to see him in the flesh. "If you will it I can bring you to me, you just have to allow me... "
‹Kaspar› Blinked rapidly, had she heard that thought? Could she hear this one? ****. What else had she heard him think about her and Lyonel so far? "Yes... Alright. Please, Eva, let me come to you.”
<Eva> Eva summoned her beautiful bebe to her side, he looked a bit startled but gorgeous as ever with that spun honey hair and deep pools of blue. He flashed her a to die for smile, curving his full lips despite his alarm at suddenly appearing at her side. She patted the chase lounge next to her, letting the mind connection go now that they were together. “You look well darling, I hope you don’t mind me checking up on you?"
‹Kaspar› He turned on the spot, taking in his surroundings to alleviate the brief flash of dizziness, but when his eyes fell on the woman his face lit up. "I suppose not, if you don't mind what you see.” It was then that he began to wonder how much he had actually been looking, deciding to test the waters. “I hope you weren't checking up two nights ago, frankly I’m not sure if you wanted to see that much of me…" He gave her his best shy, sheepish look as he sat and without thinking reached to rest his hand against her knee. Casual touch was not unusual to him, contact with those he’d let into his inner circle.
<Eva> She smiled, toying with him. "Mmm, yes that was quite a show, better than cable in fact..." The corners of her mouth turned up in a slight smile while her eyes danced with laughter trying not to give herself away. He did not know how it worked so teasing him would be fun for quite awhile "So tell me how has it been going so far? Anything you need to know or need help with?"
color=#804040]‹Kaspar›[/color] He had the courtesy to look briefly abashed; though it was obvious he wasn't shamed or embarrassed for his own sake, more so for the woman in question and what she might have witnessed. "I'll inform my dance partner you said so..." He eyed her closer for a moment, as if trying to see if she was stirring him, but decided it wasn’t important. "Hmm? Ok, I think. I'm pretty good at this feeding thing if I do say so myself; I try to make sure I don't get hungry so I can nibble and leave. I met... Another one. I didn't figure it out at first, but neither did he and he's been one longer." He raised his chin defiantly, "I also found out my singing which always distracted people, caught their attention, can now hypnotise in a way. It’s fascinating, I have to be careful and make sure I’m not unintentionally doing it when I perform.”
<Eva> Her eyes narrowed on him, studying his features. "You will soon be able to enthrall people in other ways also, they will do everything you ask them to do. You be careful with people becoming too obsessed with you, Kaspar, they will follow you and you have already found out what happens when they become too obsessed.” Her eyes flashed with meaning, reminding him of the night she had collected him up and taken him home. “You can still die. It is quite a painful experience and you shine so bright I have no doubts you can find your way back, but it is much better to avoid that place; it is so oppressive and crushing on the spirit.”
‹Kaspar› He listened intently, even with an ego the size of us he understood it was important to listen, to learn and he was a quick study. He hadn’t missed that look, or the subtle reminder of his last night with Luca, his last night technically alive. "Mein liebes mädchen, my darling girl, without those abilities I know how to ensnare.” His thumb traced over knee, a movement he didn’t intend. “You are right though I should be careful. You are sweet to say, but I fear I wouldn't take well to defeat. This is the Shadow realm you speak of? I don't want to find out how it feels." His fingertips brushed at the material over her knee, smoothing over a stray thread with a frown.
<Eva> "These people that have been turned … they like to think themselves above humans, to be better than humans and they are but not in a good way. Everything that made them human has been amplified. Their petty desires, their wants and cravings. Now they have power and the means to get it. It just makes them bigger assholes and all the nasty little habits that they had as humans are no longer curtailed, they feast freely.”
‹Kaspar› Sighed, the many rings that adorned his fingers clinking as lifted them to rub through his hair. "My vices are under control… I think, other than the one perhaps. I have someone to keep me grounded, I'll hold onto that as long as I can. I don't want to drive myself to ruin, I want to be smart, Eva darling. I want to do this right. I am better than this, I will not be your mistake.” He appeared earnest as he sought out her gaze, assuring that she listened and understood.

Re: Blood of My Blood (Eva and Lyon)
<Eva> She held her arms out inviting him in for a hug, she knew he was a grown man and after all she had always done as she pleased. It hadn’t always turned out so good for her, she was the poster child for impulsive behavior. It was one of the traits she saw in him that endeared him to her. “I don’t ever want to treat you like you’re a child or naïve to the ways of the world, and please tell me if I get overbearing. It’s just that I have been at this awhile and I am by no means a expert all I can offer is what I have been through and seen...” She studied his face, still reaching out for him. “And you are a West now, I do believe you will do us all proud.”
‹Kaspar› He leaned into that embrace, drawing her in against his chest, cradling the smaller woman's head in an adoring way. Something in him had fallen very much in love with both Eva and her husband immediately, he didn't know why. Perhaps it was the blood? Kaspar loved in a superficial way usually, loved for what they could offer him, not just who they were, he didn’t fall for all that romantic nonsense. He loved his son with every fiber of his being, he loved his family members and he claimed to love a few friends, but at the end of the day he came first. Romantic love wasn't a concept he fully believed in, it hadn’t seemed to fit in his life so far. "No, please, I do appreciate the assistance. I am not so proud that I can't admit I need to learn. I want to make something of myself among the vampires, want to be stronger and more aware. Now that I’m… A West, hm? I'm a West. I'm not sure I’ll take to the name, but I can say I am affiliated, that I am in your... Lineage is it?" He frowned, trying to recall the word. "This word sire, I cannot settle on the German equivalent comfortably, the closest translation would be Vater, which means father, I cannot rightly call you father. You will be my darling instead.” He brushed her hair back behind her ear, shining the light of his smile down upon her.
<Eva> She chuckled, leaning into his arms, looking up to return the smile. "I love it! Well, its not exactly easy being a West, you don’t just get turned and get accepted as a West ... It’s the Old man, Wolfgang. He demands excellence. You cannot be mediocre and be a West... You have to be someone worth knowing as I once heard him say. Yes it sounds snobbish to an extent but it’s what we are, we can’t deny what we are or forget what we are.... It’s a sense of Pride more than anything else that drives us.”
‹Kaspar› His hands toyed with a lock of her dark hair, running it between his fingertips. Pride indeed, sounded like a pride to him and he was the old lion; worried he’d be replaced by some new, stronger male. "This "Old man" tell me more about him? It sounds to me like he wouldn't enjoy being challenged, or would he praise success? Does he want us to be independent? Or bend to him? Is he… as beautiful as those i've met so far? He chose you two after all." Kas was beginning to wonder what the rest of them looked like, he’d seen one or two in passing and he’d been pleasantly surprised. The blonde had popped her head in, Australian, model level stunning but acted like she didn’t know it. She’d shown him a surprisingly lack of interest, something cold in her. A necromancer, Lyonel had explained, and recently returned to their ranks. He’d made some other comment then, quietly to Eva and the pair had smirked like it was some inside joke. Something about charming wolves? They communicated in a strange, synchronized way, those West’s he’d seen. When one shifted so did the other, flowing together and parting with reluctance. He liked it; he wanted it for himself, to bottle that sense of loyalty and belonging to hoard away. Maybe it was just the blood, he wanted to test the theory.
<Eva> Eva frowned a bit "He is quite handsome, and he is quite powerful. In fact he was quite powerful before he was turned, with a head for business and temper so hot it could burn... And no he is not happy being challenged, but he is not put out by others success it just drives him to be even better. One thing you should know, he did not choose me. I was a mistake...” She paused to let him process that. “He tried to murder me because I took what was rightfully his.”
‹Kaspar› His brows went up at that, surprised by her admission. The handsome bit had distracted him; he wanted to see this man, to take his measure, he wondering if he would find him wanting. "He tried to..." He felt a protective flash, curling the woman closer once more. "I hope that sort of behavior ceased once you returned, turned. I doubt I could take him in a fight but hell if I wouldn't try if he tried to control you with violence.”
<Eva> She laughed, enjoying the sudden protective streak in her new boy. "I spent almost a year shooting him on sight... And he put up with it until I got too deadly with a gun and told me I had to stop. We have made our peace. I don’t know if you will get along with him, but it would be nice if you could. No need to try and compete with him , you two will probably not see eye to eye on everything but then no one ever does .” She let her fingers lightly stroke the smooth skin of the mans arm, tracing over the lines of one of the many tattoos that told stories on his skin.
‹Kaspar› He bowed that pretty blonde head, so proud, looking like a kind of fallen angel when he did it. "I'm not sure he'll approve of me, but I will make the effort. I'm no fool, Eva; I'm an intelligent man and know when to use my charm. It can’t work on everyone, oh most yes. I don't lie often, or bend the truth; I am subtle in my honesty and make few promises; only those I can keep without fail. Your Old Man, mein liebes Mädchen, will not fall for me." He spoke the words with completely certainty, brushing his lips to her shoulder. “I am worthy, and I will continue to be. I grow stronger every day, and with your help I won't fall into the traps others have." He felt a strong desire to see this man that he couldn’t shake, he wanted to take his hand, to look him dead in the eye and present himself as Eva’s new hellion. His fingertips moved from her hair, brushing the back of them against her cheek. “He’ll just have to put up with me, I don’t plan to leave you any time soon, I like it right here darling.”
