Remember my rants about wanting to rent an apartment with my friends in Canada? I’m finally getting my wish come true!!! Although my parents have been strongly against it since the time I asked two years back, they flipped the tables on me today. I’m finally 18 and going to Canada with my friends. Without them! Can you believe it? Cause I certainly can’t.
Anyways! Tonight I’m flying off. So excited!!! Can’t wait to see our new living quarters that my parents got for us. I know, unbelievable. Who knew they were capable of planning behind my back with my friends. (I knew something weird was going on when they asked for my opinion on that apartment!)
Now though, I’m stuck on deciding what I should bring to wear over there. All my clothes are for summer wear seeing as Singapore doesn’t give its inhabitants any chance at wearing thicker clothes besides the rare little monsoons that occur every now and then. Ok! I’ve decided. I will bring just enough to last me a few weeks. After all, why bother when we can shop there right? Hehe
I have also decided to cancel my model contract with the ABC modelling agency. I can;t possibly be modelling in Singapore when I’m going to be living in Canada right? So yea, there you have it. Thank you to those who supported me within the short time I spent as a model.

I’ve finally reached my new place of living after a whole day of travelling. The apartment is lovely! Fully furnished and almost everything I need is here. Am currently in the midst of unpacking, but since there is nothing much to unpack just thought I’d blog before getting to it.
The town I have moved into is called Harper Rock. Cute name isn’t it? That’s what I thought when I first heard of it. It’s pretty much a secluded town out in the wilderness, but that’s what adds to its beauty. A kind of misty beauty, mysterious… Anyways I searched it up on google, and guess what I found? There were rumours circulating about vampires existing in this town!!! Isn’t that awesome? Ok, so they probably don’t really exist and it was just some psychopath killer imitating the vampire fang marks like the korean dramas I watch (which if real, I should really be panicking right now but somehow can’t find it in myself to care) but still, it’s interesting. Isn’t it?
Oh well! Tomorrow I will be heading out early to go job seeking for my first proper job. Have to pay the rent now that I’m living here alone. Gotta save up too if I wanna further my studies in future. Here’s to hoping I can find a job as a model again. It was good money :/ (kinda regret quitting now) Also hoping to hear more vampire rumours. Haha!
After days of searching for a job (ok I’m exaggerating it was a mere 2 days), I have finally gotten hired! Most of you are gonna doubt me on this one but… I’m gonna be working as a secretary/clerk for this new firm called Wilson Law Firm. Awesome right? I know, I can’t believe it myself.
Am i fortunate? Very. Thank you! Whatever Gods above there are, watching me… although it would be much appreciated if you don’t watch me bathe. *Shrugs* Girl’s need to be decent for marriage right? Ok, I'm spouting nonsense and my roommates looking at me like I’m nuts giggling to myself and all. Oh well.
Did I mention I managed to get around to exploring the town while out on my job hunting? Guess not. It’s really an awesome town but for some reason, its kinda lacking.. people? I’m not sure how to put it, but yeah. Lacking people, humans. Still have not heard anything more about vampires.
Anyways, I should really be getting to bed soon but I’m too excited!!! Ahhh~ Ok I’m gonna wake my roommate at this rate.
I’ve started my job at Wilson’s Law Firm. I can’t really say much as it’s just been a first day but it was alright. It was pretty much a normal day at work. I think I annoyed my boss a little. Hehe
Anyways! Something weird happened to me today. I remembered heading off after work and was going to do a little window shopping when everything became dark and blurry. One moment I was on the public roads, the next I was in the wilderness! The worst thing is I can’t even remember how I got there. Isn’t that weird? When I snapped out of it, I felt light headed, weak and there was this painful ache in my neck. It’s still there! Do you think something’s wrong with me? I sure hope not. :/ I just got here.
Oh well, it’s time for me to head to bed now. It’s around midnight where I am now so…
Today I was sent out on my very first task as a lawyer’s assistant. It felt great being of use to someone and earning money doing something useful. It’s a waaaay different industry from the one I used to be in and I must say it is quite an interestingly enjoyable experience.
I am proud to declare I finished the task rather efficiently and seemed to have pleased my boss with my efforts. (Will I get a pay raise if I continue this way? Hehe)
Anyways, after work I went to a net cafe and explored the town’s main website. It had an independent hit list (no idea what that means), forums, emails (I’m guessing this is how people contact each other here) and an auction house. So obviously I clicked the forums to see what was going on in town, and guess what I found? A thread called “Fact or Fiction” where there are multiple discussions on whether vampires are real or not. It seemed pretty dead with just a few discussions still ongoing.
I didn’t get to read much of it though as my time was up before i could read more.
I have so many things I have yet to say but it’s midnight now and I have work tomorrow so I’m heading to bed my friends!
Ok, it’s sunday night and I went out on a stroll earlier… Remember the weird happening from before? Well, it happened again.
I’m not sure what to make of it. Maybe I just dazed out like usual and walked on and before I knew it, found myself in another place. Haha yeah, maybe that’s what happened.
It doesn’t explain why my neck’s feeling sore and why I’m feeling pretty light headed though. I’m just going to be getting whatever I can up here before going to bed. Anyways! I think there’s nothing much to worry about. It could be some sort of common flu going on around here. Shall head to a doctor’s first thing tomorrow to get it checked out.

7/02/16 - 2nd day of the Lunar New year (Private Entry)
It's the second day of the lunar new year today. Thoughts of how my parents are doing back home are frequent visitors of my mind. Are they enjoying themselves despite my disappearance? Are they still trying to find me? Have they gotten someone to replace me?
I hope they are enjoying themselves. I’m content with where I am now and hope they will not waste their efforts on searching for me, hope that they’d forget me somehow and take in someone else to replace me…
But at the same time, I want them to feel regret, longing for me to return to their arms, search high and low for me and refuse to get someone to replace me until the day I return to them.
What self contradictory. Funny. How I long to rid myself of these thoughts. Why do I feel this way even though I have never felt like I belonged with them? This question I have been asking myself since the day I could comprehend things independently.
Is it selfishness, possessiveness or just plain ugliness that resides in me. Or was it a hereditary from the strangers I never knew?
Helping lost spirits for years, I almost feel like one of them. In fact, I might as well be one.
Eotteoke(How)? I don’t want Avi to lose another person. We’ve gotten close. I, don’t want to lose her too.
Sorry for worrying everyone. I went to the doctor’s today and he said it was fine. Apparently its a common happening here, something about anemia but have no idea what causes it. So they treat it as a common flu around here and a day’s rest will do the trick. Nothing serious. Thank you for everyone’s concern! I really should stop worrying everyone.

8/02/16 - Slow (Private entry)
Ever since arriving, I noticed something was off with this town. Majority of the spirits here look like they died a tragic death, an unnatural death and some don’t look like normal spirits at all. There are some especially weird ones hanging around humans, almost like pets and some even seemed to be acting as bodyguards.
None the less, this town is so spirit infested that I can hardly tell them apart from living humans. I’m going to become the town weirdo at this rate.
I’m beginning to think the fact or fiction forum is on to something and there might actually be other supernaturals around besides spirits. Added with the fact that I keep losing my memory and turning up at places in a completely different direction than I had been heading for, with a sore in my neck as well. I should have a chat with that spirit at the bar tomorrow…
