The cost of dying [known]
I know most of the bug thingy's from the Terretory battles have been fixed. But, I noticed a few things that haven't been, so I thought I should share.
I am unclear about whether or not certain stuffs, that normally take place when you get sent to the SR, should be taking place when it's a Terr. Battle SRing. Such as:
Death wounds[ - Yay or Nay?
Non-death wound duration - Seems wound duration is kinda random. I would think, these wounds would be the same as Skirmish wounds are. Also, shouldn't 2 wounds that are the same type, say gunshot to the head/ -3 intel/critical be the same duration? Not one of them be 1 day and the other be 2 days.
Equipped weapon loss - not happening, if it's supposed to.
Daily EXP loss - thought it was 300 exp per day for 7 days. Lost 195 EXP at day change, which seems like an odd amount.
Kinda seems silly that you get 200 exp when you are defeated, only to have it removed due to the daily 300 exp penalty. js

I was also under the impression that people would flee or be ejected after x amount of turns. I was sort of waiting and hoping for such a thing to happen.

Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.

If someone is pulled in and not online so they never move it IS supposed to.

During the Acheron battle recently we were informed that David had not had a chance to complete coding that particular feature.Elizabeth Naarc wrote:I was also under the impression that people would flee or be ejected after x amount of turns. So it is meant to happen just...not yet. >.>
Some people will never like us...

Weapons were left on Kitchi as well in the last battle that sent him to shadow realm.

Even if the auto flee had been finished coding, enough turns hadn't yet gone by for Sundian to auto flee.Elizabeth Naarc wrote:I was also under the impression that people would flee or be ejected after x amount of turns. I was sort of waiting and hoping for such a thing to happen.

Oh man. How come? thought the point was to protect charries from being killed when a player couldn't get online?

Yeah but she seemed to die super fast. Did everyone run back towards Sundial and lead the enemies to her?

Okay I've finished coding it now. Anyone who hasn't moved 10 turns from the start of the battle will auto-flee. However, you will not auto flee if you've moved even once.

Re: The cost of dying
Death wounds haven't been added yet (from NPC strikes). It's known, and will be fixed when I update the NPCs to use the regular skirmish code in their attacks. Same with normal wound duration and equipped weapon loss. Those are all tied in together.Crimson wrote:I know most of the bug thingy's from the Terretory battles have been fixed. The daily EXP loss seems odd. I'm guessing you gained some at some point.
