Good evening!
I'm new and have yet to partake in 2player role play on this site but I'd like to make a suggestion for the mechanics. It's an easy one :)
Basically, if two characters are having a fight- a "moderator approval" step should be added.
Essentially, a moderator would serve as a referee and every time a post was made the poster would get the prompt telling him or her that he has to wait for it to be approved.
Meanwhile- the ref would read the paragraph and by comparing stats/ammo/weapons etc would decide whether it was viable. He would then write in green writing next to parts that should be edited and return it to sender. The op would the edit where due to make it fairer or more realistic and then repeat until it's good. So for example
Sent:
"I dodged the bullets with ease, and followed it up by throwing ninja stars. I pulled my gun out and fired six revolver shots into his chest"
Sent back:
"I dodged the bullets with easeyour stats allow for a skill full dodge, but not an easy one. This gives your opponent a false impression., and followed it up by throwing ninja stars. I pulled my gun out and fired six revolver shots into his chest"Assuming that you were at the range to accurately throw ninja stars you wouldn't be close enough to land revolver shots in his chest
Edited:
"I dodged the bullets in time, and followed it up by throwing ninja stars. I pulled my gun out and took aim, preparing for a counter attack"
So yeah. Not sure if this is something that could be implemented. For small fights it wouldn't matter but for massive scale fights that have massive after effects it could be deemed fairer
Happy hunting!

There's actually a dice-roller in place if you want to use that in order to work out if things like this would be successful. Alternatively, you can fight in game in order to see who wins, and then roleplay it accordingly.
