Walk in the club like what up? (Marjani & Nishaa)

Post by Marty James »

Marty had arrived to town hours earlier, though went only by his hotel room long enough to drop of his luggage. He was here to experience the city after all and what he wished to experience first was a drink, or two, or twelve. Setting out into the night, he would pull out his phone to shoot a conference call to his boss back in New York. The moment the face appeared upon the screen Marty would smile. His boss spared no subtleties, and jumped right into jabbed puns at Maty's appearance. 'You look like hell! When was the last time you shaved? Maybe a haircut wouldn't hurt and I never knew you wore glasses?" Martyr's smile would just linger, he knew Mike was just trying to make him feel better. The man had given him a four month leave, even bought his tickets to Mexico where Marty tried hard to drink his memories away. All the tequila in the world couldn't have done that sadly, not to say he had not put forth the effort.

"Thanks? Just wanted you to know I made it in, I'll start looking into some local spots tomorrow. About to grab a late dinner and catch some sleep so I can get an early start tomorrow." Roughly translating as a bottle of liqueur and drinking until stumbling back to his hotel room to pass out. "Be safe, just take your time and have fun. You do your best work when you're enjoying yourself." Marty nodded, and wondered to himself about how he was **** lucky to have a job he loved and a boss who was far too good to him. "I will, and thanks. I'll give you a call tomorrow." with that Marty signed off and would pocket the phone.

He had no set destination in mind as he walked the sidewalk. He had a map on his phone of course, but Marty always found the true places of adventure were found by chance. What he wanted was simple enough, a place to get alcohol, a place preferably loud enough where he could not even hear himself think. It was the draw of music that lead him then and as the next corner was turned he would spot what must have been a nightclub of sorts. The wait to get in was not incredibly long, though had he held a more attractive physical appearance, perhaps he could have gotten in sooner. The moment he entered, it had been tempting to make way though the loud crowd and park himself right at the bar.

The bar could wait though, and Marty opted first for the men's restroom. It had always been odd to note how long the line to the women's bathroom was compared to the men's. Marty was able to walk right in, and the men's room was relatively empty. He would wander over to the sink and catch sight of himself in the mirror. He did look a little rough compared to his usual look. Maybe Mike had a point, it was time he got his **** together. It's not like the situation was going to change, it was over and it was time to get back to what he did best, work. Marty was going to make this town his comeback, Mike was going to get the best story idea ever and Marty was not going to stop until he found it.

His hand would reach to turn the cold water on, as he would slip off his glasses. Setting them aside on the counter Marty would splash a little water on his face, then reaching for a few paper towels to dry off. After tossing the towels, and cleaning off his glasses he would have one glance at his reflection. He couldn't help but think over the last words his ex had said to him. That she simply could no longer stand the sight of him. It was not as if he personally had done anything wrong, Marty had just been a reminder of what had been lost. He would not have much time to linger over such self loathing thoughts though. Something peculiar caught his attention.

“Baaaaaaaaaaaaby”

Nishaa cooed to her wife, well husband currently. Nishaa felt like a caged animal. She wanted to stretch and play. She wanted to do something. The Necromancer wrapped her arms around Marjani and ran her fingers along that bare chest of hers, his. Her wife was a female trapped in a man’s body due to an issue with some rogue vampires that wanted revenge against Nishaa because she had hunted him. They had found Marjani, pushed her for information which she didn’t give them - and killed her. She came back from the dead seven days later only not in her delicious chocolate body but in a man’s body.

Nishaa loved Marjani regardless of what body she was in, she had much fun with this new body. She wasn’t attracted to men, she was in love with Marjani’s soul. Her personality, no matter the form and Nishaa had stressed that to Marjani several times. Nishaa loved her wife regardless of the circumstances that had befallen them. This was simply a test for their love. They had both passed.

“Let’s go out…”

She told Marjani. Running fingers through her own hair in a fashion of combing. She was up and out of bed. Dropping the silk sheets from her thin form and was already rummaging through the drawers to find something she could wear to a club. She fancied dancing. Marjani loved to dance so they could both do something they both enjoyed. Nishaa had so much energy she needed to use that she simply couldn’t use it all on her wife, despite the fact that she would love it.

“I want to go dancing.”

She informed her. Slipping into a white jump suit that fit snug on her slim physique (she even put on a pair of white heels!). She gave a coy smile to her wife. Waggling her finger at her in a ‘come here’ fashion as she pushed her hair up into a bun on top of the head. She smoothed down her outfit and felt happy to leave the apartment like this. When Nishaa wanted to do something she did it. She went over to the chair close to the fireplace and waited for her wife to get ready.

Dancing. That's all Mari needed to hear. Mari not only loved to dance, but danced damn good. Before she was sired, Mari had been a backup dancer to some up and coming has beens that had never made it big, and then moved on to teaching what she loved and knew to other people that wanted to learn. After she was sired, she tried to keep up with it, but it just got too difficult after she came back as a man. She couldn't teach people how to shake dat *** with this body. It was just all kinds of wrong.

"Okay!" Mari jumped out of bed after watching her wife getting dressed, appreciating the view from the bed before she moved to her set of drawers. Life in this body was conflicting. Mari was reluctant to get rid of her clothes from when she was a woman, because she had a lot of cute outfits. She recently wore one of them to an Andras get together, but everyone seemed to think she was a he, pretending to be a she. Yes, Mari was a guy, but she was all woman.

And so she had started ordering some guy clothes as Mari went through her gender identity crises. No way in h-e double hockey sticks was she keeping anything Theodore wore. His loafers, all three pairs got pitched. Dorky man dress socks? Shredded. Faded washed jeans? Cut up.

The most difficult thing was underwear. Boxers? Briefs? Boxer briefs? None? Mari didn't understand the whole boxer thing. It was like shorts under pants. Boxer Briefs? Just felt weird with undies all tight on your thighs, and briefs? It held the boys in place and all good enough, but darn it if Mari didn't miss her little butt floss between her cheeks. So, Mari decided she wasn't going to wear underwear at all. Not if she couldn't wear her cute little undies.

So that meant Mari was wearing dress slacks because she tried wearing jeans with no underwear and man. That scraping feeling on all the down below places? Not nice at all. She got out a white v-neck t-shirt and a white belt that would come to rest on her hips after she tucked the shirt in. She wished she could cut the scraggly mop of hair Theodore had, but it just seemed to grow right back the next night. Mari gave up on that after two nights. She combed the hair back, then put it in a low pony and reached out for her wife. "I got just the place, baby." Mari said before teleporting them both to an alley of old abandoned buildings-some place she thought was safe to just appear from thin air.

"It's called the Chrono for anyone who spends more than a night here. I looooove it here. It's got some sick beats and some bad *** DJ's." Mari said as she squeezed her wife's arm in excitement. After paying the fee, they were both inside and Mari was off to get them drinks so it appeared they were normal. Going to a club and not ordering a single drink just looked all kinds of weird and out of place. She ordered two drinks, both fruity and girlie and as she turned around to bring the drinks to their small table, someone bumped right into her knocked her in the elbow, making Mari spill her drinks. On her shirt and her pants. And now she was wet. Theodore was wet. And so was his man bits. Stupid penis.

"OHHH MAI GOOOOOOOOD! I AM SOOOOO SOOOORRIIIIIE!" the stupid girl shouted at Mari before she laughed, but Mari was already on her way to the bathroom to look for either a drier or a lot of paper towels. "STUPID PENIS." Mari said as she unzipped the fly of the trousers and glared at it. "Now you're all sticky and sticking to my leg." Mari huffed as she dabbed at her down below bits with a paper towel. Looking down at her, or his penis, Mari continued trying to dry it with the only thing she could-the paper towel as she kept complaining about the penis. "You're more trouble than you're worth and if I could cut you off, I would." The thought had crossed her mind, but after Theodore's scraggly hair grew back, she assumed that it would grow back too. Mari was so wrapped up in lecturing her penis that she never heard the other guy enter the bathroom.

It was another male in the bathroom, and he appeared to be talking to himself. Well, correction it would appear the man was talking to the open fly of his pants. Wow, talk about first impressions and this city already seemed to be throwing a curveball at him. Marty had options, one being to walk out and just ignore that he had heard anything. A drink in had was sure tempting to promote such a decision. Something strong and lots of it. Though if it was the aim to forget the night with a drunken haze, why not maybe try to be helpful and nice, even if it was an awkward situation.

”Might want to wet some paper towels first and wipe with those? Might help with whatever’s sticky?” Lord help him, Marty didn’t want to know what was the cause of stickiness. ”Then go with the dry ones…” It was odd, and Marty tried hard not to think too into it. Though the cutting off comment was still something he could not quite gather or relate to. Marty surly had never thought such a thing, it was always worth far more than any trouble it might cause, at least that’s how Marty felt of his own.

This must have been one of the most award situations he had found himself in. Yet Marty didn’t move right away, his feet stood as if glued to the floor. He would take his glasses and rub the lenses with the bottom of his cotton shirt. Pressing them on, he looked at himself in the mirror in front of him. He looked so different, but was that necessarily a bad thing? Marty would glance once more over that the other male, he hoped whatever it was, that the guy was able to work it out.

Marty gave a nod, and said nothing more because saying anything else would likely have made the situation weird. This was the first person he had met of the city though. When visiting a new place it was always something he considered. What was the first interaction made while out exploring and this situation was certainly a first. Marty walked out of the bathroom and would head right up to the bar.

He stood waiting for what seemed like ages for the bartender to notice him. Watching as others would approach, mostly young attractive men or women, and they seemed to be served before Marty. ”Excuse me….” Spoken as one of the bartenders glanced in his direction once more, though looked as if they were about to take an order from yet another who had just walked up.

Marty didn’t want to be rude, but he really needed a drink, a few of them actually. He ended up ordering a double shot of Crown Royal, a beer and then another double shot after having downed the first. He would hand over his card to have a tab started, though would tip the bartender quite generously with cash. He had learned long ago that if you tipped really well for the first order, they seemed more likely to take your orders faster the next time.

For a moment then Marty would lean against the bar, having a few sips from his bottle, and drinking down the other double. His eyes would wonder over the crowd, watching the dancefloor for a moment and then looking over to where he might want to grab a seat. Though sitting alone in a booth seemed unlikely, it would just look pathetic of him. Probably best just to linger by the bar he assumed.

She wanted Marjani get ready, from her chair by the fireplace she had the best view. She smirked, a coy little smile as she canted her head to the side. Watching. With dark onyx hues. She wanted to see it all, every last detail of her wife's new found male form. She wanted to run her fingertips across every line of muscle she could get her hands on. She turned away then, she was craving her new form more and more. So as long as she was looking away she could crave him, for now at least.

She had a place, she nodded her head. Getting up from the chair and taking Marjani’s hand. They vanished from the hotel room and was suddenly outside in the cold hair. Nishaa planted a kiss to her wife’s cheek. A red lipstick smudge visible upon his jawline as she found herself laughing a little bit, and rubbed it away with her thumb before slowly caressing the skin instead.

Nishaa had changed her mind, she wanted to take Marjani back to the hotel room and do some very naughty things to her until sunrise, but instead she let Marjani lead her inside. The chrono, she had never heard of it before but if her wife said it was good, then she believed it was. She was led inside. Strobe lights danced on the wooden floor of the dance floor - bodies meshed together in euphoria and Nishaa licked her lips. She was suddenly hungry.

Marjani made the motion of going to the bar, Nishaa took that as a ‘get a table’ motion and did just that, she turned around and headed away from the dance floor and began to make her way to a small table away from the loud music and the heated bodies that made her very hungry. She placed her small handbag atop the wood, and waited patiently for her wife to return with the drinks.

The atmosphere here was quite sexy, she had to admit.

Mari's eyes pivoted to the male voice that offered his suggestion on what to do about the drink that spilled all over Mari's man-junk. "Some dumb ***** spilled drinks all over me." Mari blurted out, not wanting him to think it was, THAT. Did guys even care about that stuff? "Thank you, though." She said anyways to the guy before he left Mari to her own devices, which was a relief.

After Mari got cleaned up as best as she could, Mari left the bathroom and let her eyes fall on her wife. She was sitting at the same table, looking a lot of things. Tough, tenacious, racy, and provocative. She was everything Mari wasn't, but the same could be said in reverse about Mari to Nishaa. The idea opposites attracted was never truer with these two women, which resulted in a greater connection, a strong sense of security and support for both women when they were at the others side.

Mari hustled over to her wife's side, bobbing and weaving around people dancing, people standing and objects that were placed around the club as decor. Tables, poles, lights-none of them really seen by Mari. Her only focal point in the club was her wife. "Hey baby. I am so sorry." Mari said as she scooted into the seat next to her wife. "I had a little complication with getting the drinks." Mari started out after she placed a kiss to her wife's cheek. "But," Her eyes combed through the throngs of club attendees until she found the guy from the bathroom. "He helped me with my penis problems." Mari pointed to the guy in the glasses at the bar, who seemed to be by himself. "He was such a doll, we should make friendsies." Her eyes veered back to her wife, a big smile on her face-not realizing how it might actually be taken by her wife. Her head came to rest on her wife's shoulders as she stared up lovingly at the woman. "Pleaaaaaase?"

As Marty’s gaze had lingered over the seating area, he caught sight of the male he had briefly spoke with in the restroom. He noticed the man was sitting with a woman and the two sat closely, like lovers. As the guy had pointed in his direction, Marty would offer a smile and raise his bottle as a way of saying hello. He could only imagine what he might be telling the woman. Recalling the mention of spilt drinks, he would notice the two didn’t have any drinks yet. Turning away from the crowd, he downed the last of his second shot and would wave over a bartender. Of course the one who had served him before seemed to have disappeared, so once again it took a while to get waited on. Perhaps had he have been female, showing off a lot of cleavage he would have been helped faster by the male bartender. The guy sure took his dear sweet time getting to him.

Finally the bartender walked over, ”Need another beer?” For some odd reason Marty found this irritating, but didn’t express to such. ”Let me get two cocktails, something fruity with rum. I already have a tab going.” He then gave the man his name, so he knew what card being held it would be under. It didn’t take long, soon the man was back with two glasses filled with some pale pink mixture that faded to an orange color at the bottom. The glass rim was coated with sugar and garnished with a slice of orange.

Marty would thank and tip the man, and the bartender wasted no time in walking off to help the next person waiting. Tucking his beer to the side of his chest, he held it in place with his arm. This freed up his hands to take hold of a drink with each. He had always been a master of carrying multiple drinks. Turning slowly then he began to maneuver his way through people and other obstacles, making his way over to where the couple sat. Perhaps to any other, they would wish to avoid someone they just had an experience like that with in the restroom. Marty though figured anyone so willing to express such things aloud had to be an interesting character, and would likely make for a decent conversationalist.

Once he stood before the table where the couple sat, he would set down the drinks. His hands were free, and he would take hold of his beer once more. He gave the guy a nod of the head, before greeting the two of them. ”Looked like you two could use a drink. I’m Marty, I’m new around the city, here for some business. I work for a travel magazine and am looking into doing a piece on the city and what might make a person want to stop in for a visit.” He had to laugh a little at himself inside, how incredibly lame he must have come off. Though best way to get the inside on a place, was to talk with locals. ”Mind if I join the two of you? Though I hate to impose if you would rather have some alone time.”

Opposites attract, yes. That was exactly what Nishaa and her wife were.

Who would have known Nishaa a bloodthirsty, cold, emotionless woman would fall for someone so cheery, peaceful, loving and kind woman. Marjani brought out the best in Nishaa. Helped her access feelings she never knew she had - feelings of tenderness and happiness. Marjani was Nishaa’s rock, her world and there was nothing in the world that could take her away from her.

Her head twisted to the left, to look back out the dancing bodies on the dancefloor. She looked back in the general direction of the bar and couldn’t find her wife there. She raised an eyebrow and looked back out to the crowd to see if she could catch a glimpse of her coming out of the ocean of bodies but nothing. Her fingernails began to scrape at the woodwork of the table as she waited patiently. She wasn’t worried. No.

Ten minutes past and she saw Marjani heading towards her she could see a scowl first written upon her features which faded away the moment her wife’s eyes focused on the Necromancer. She made her way to the table quickly and dropped in beside her apologising for taking so long. Nishaa kissed Mari, as Mari kissed her own cheek in return. She let the silence fall for a moment - the sound of music pounding in her ears.

She turned her gaze to the man with the glasses at the bar. She raised an eyebrow at him before turning her keen eyes back to Nishaa. “He saw your penis?” She asked. “It’s mine. He wasn’t checking it out or anything, right?” There was a pause. “It’s mine.” Confirming it for a second time.

She didn’t really say much else when the man arrived at their table with two cocktail glasses in hand. She looked him over - the glasses a focual point for her onyx hues. She gave a careful glance to Mari, who seemed more than eager to make friends with the little human. She inwardly sighed and nodded her head. She gave Marjani a look that said ‘I’m doing this for you’ Marjani would understand.

“No, feel free to have a seat. Could defo’ use a drink. Do you have one yourself?” Nishaa found herself asking. Making casual chit chat. Nishaa was such a cool person, being all nice to the human.

Had he seen her penis? Or Theo's penis? Did it matter? Mari kept her eyes on the guy while he was at the bar before she shook her head. "No, baby. I don't think he did. We could ask when we make friends?" Nishaa wanted to go out and going out to Mari, meant socializing. With lots of different people because that made the time more fun and the memories more fun.

Mari was about to get up when low and behold, the guy was coming for them. Or in their area. She looked around to see a couple girls chit chatting about nothing she cared about, then a guy talking to two girls not far from that group. He was coming for them. "Maybe he saw my penis." Why else would he come back after that semi-awkward ordeal in the bathroom?

Mari couldn't help but smile. The guy liked what he saw. Theo had a good penis. It drew both men and women to her. "But it's definitely all yours." Mari assured Nishaa just before the guy introduced himself. She nodded back, because he nodded first. And he was a guy, so Mari was learning some guy tactics and tricks that someone in a guy's body should know. Like the head nodding thing. Why didn't she think of that? Guys did that all the time. Wasn't it so....Neanderthal? Why couldn't they just say hi?

A smile fell on her lips as Nishaa said he could join them. "Hey Marty." Mari said, because guys said hey all the time. Not hi. Hey. "Why wouldn't anyone want to come to Harper Rock? Just look at this place." Mari's arms extended out to the masses, her eyes on the dance floor, before her arms dropped to her lap. Maybe that wasn't something a guy would say. Changing the topic. "This is my wife Nishaa and I'm Theo." But, she wasn't Theo. Theo was now her. For all intents purposes Mari had to be Theo, even if she didn't want to be Theo, especially in front of people who weren't in Andras. "And this club is alright. But the real up and coming places in the city are Meteor, The Tin Can and The Boom Boom Room. You should check those places out." Mari squeezed her wife's arm affectionately as she made conversation with the nice white boy across from the two of them.

As the woman said for him to feel free to have a seat, Marty did just that and would move to have a seat at the far end of the booth. ”Thanks” With her question, he would answer with words paired with a small lift of the bottle in his hand.”I have a beer, so I’m good for now.” Though he would likely be heading to the bar for more shots soon. He had no intentions of taking up too much of the couple’s time. As the other male spoke then, Marty would comment on the Why wouldn't anyone want to come to Harper Rock? remark. ”That’s exactly what I intend to find out.” His words were shared with a smile.

The man would introduce himself and his wife then. ”Pleasure to meet you both.” Shared with yet another nod of the head, before tipping back his bottle to have another drink. Theo spoke once again, and it was just the sort of info he had been hoping for. Suggestions from locals, now those were the places that were usually worthy of looking into. Marty would pull out his phone then, the thing was his life and he kept everything on it. ”I’m sorry…. Just want to make a note of that.” He knew being on a phone could be seen as rude, though he also knew firsthand how forgetful he could be while drinking.

”So that was Meteor, The Tin Can and The Boom Boom Room….. I’ll definitely look into those places.” It took little time to type out and save and he would quickly tuck away his phone. Marty looked relaxed in his seat, the company of strangers had always been a natural things for him. He had been to so many places over the years, countless city’s and met numerous people. Many strangers had become close friends, and he often found it handy to have many connections.

”I find locals most always know the best places. So a big thanks for the suggestions.” Marty had discovered many places by word of mouth. Like last spring break, where he had checked out this hot spot in Florida. It had been fun, though the best part was learning about the beaches two towns over. It was an island that was not over developed and had been one of the most beautiful beaches he had ever seen. He ended up changing his article idea, and did a feature on what he called one of the best kept secrets in Florida .
