When Mortll embraced Zodiac and kissed her cheek, a spike of jealousy followed by disappointment shot through Tiamat’s heart. Zodiac didn’t move from her contact with Mortll. Her eyes shot to the floor and she shuffled her foot back and forth. Her long black hair twirled slowly through her thumb and forefinger as she tried to collect her thoughts. She’s with Mortll. That has to be it. But, why ? Why were there the subtle signs?
She was being polite, you naïve twit. She doesn’t actually care.
But the signs. There were signs.
Your imagination. You’ve lost control, again. Didn’t we come to an agreement after HIM?
Another thought disrupted the conscious conversation flow. A third voice. Not Tiamat, but not the queen. The voice belonged to Zodiac. She asked what kind of song Tia would sing in private. Her heart jumped at the question. She tugged slightly at her raven locks as she answered, “Any kind of song you want.” She hadn’t even realized she had spoken aloud to the question.
God, you’re on your own. When this ends in tears, I’ll be certain to say “I told you so”

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Mortll looked from one woman to the other ,Her old friend, and her young apprentice ... Something strange was going on She felt like a third wheel all of a sudden even though at first she would have sworn Zo was glad to see her almost relived after some time she had defiantly learned the gypsy's body language. Her brow furrowed as she glanced between the pair. She smiled maybe she should just leave them be but what had Tia wanted her for in the first place if she was here making her moves on Miss Zo... " Well thank you Zo " she gave the woman a gentle squeeze and a smile "Tia what did you want to see me for ? The crowd seems great and everyone is having a good time you finished all the reports I wanted I thought you would have been headed for home by now ?"
Mortll smiled at the young pire who was obviously quit4 nervous something Mortll hadn't ever seen her before . She was usually quit4 arrogant .

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
It wasn't a job for a rocket scientist-that much was certain. The gypsy could tell by the looks Mort was giving she knew something wasn't quiet right with this picture. She leaned into the embrace as her friend thanked her for her input on the place (lame as it was) and then focused on Tia.
Tia seemed to be having a worse time of it that she was, Zo decided. Almost as if there was a unruly committee meeting going on in the girl's head as opposed to two points in the mystic's mind shouting back and forth. Not for the first time this evening she was tempted to peek inside of the woman's head, but the part of her that was suddenly so infatuated with Tiamat found such a thing totally rude. One did not spy on a love, unless they were cheating on them. Was that it? Suddenly she clung a bit tighter to Mortll. Was the girl having second thoughts already?
Second thoughts about what? There was nothing to be having any kind of thoughts about despite the fact that Zodiac just could not get the subject of the girl off her mind. Mortll was asking why Tia wanted to see her and she did was stand there and watch while the wheels in her brain spun round like a runaway Ferris Wheel.
"Yes, tell her why you wanted to speak to her. Tell her we will both be missing for awhile as we sort this out in private somewhere in various stages of dress and undress." her private thoughts whispered to herself. Her eyes grew as big as saucers as she slapped a hand over her mouth-thought not a sound had left her lips. Oh hell no! How did it go from some kind of infatuation to thoughts like that so quickly? This was getting out of hand too fast.
As if hearing her, her inner voice purred to her softly. "Oh, you won't let it get out of hand at all. You two are about the same size, but you stronger than her. You'll put her down into her place soon enough and if not, that's why bondage was invented."
Now her mouth dropped open, revealing fangs on both top and bottom. She looked like she had been hit with a live cattle prod now. She looked up at Mort and then back to Tia slowly.
"Ummmm, yeah. Why don't you tell her why you wanted to see her?" her thoughts were finally trusted enough to speak where both women could hear them. The rest of them were just too bizarre to even consider admitting them to herself, let alone another.

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Her eyes remained downcast as she fumbled for the words to answer her boss’s question. Her foot continued to move as she struggled with herself. She looked up at the two women. She wanted to tell them what she wanted to do with Zodiac, every dirty detail. As she stared at both women, she had a terrible feeling that would end badly for the young woman. She wrung her hands an sighed. She looked to be near tears.
“I, I wanted to know if I could take the rest of the night off. I want to show Zodiac my pets and…stuff” she mumbled and shuffled her feet some more and she looked between both women. “but if you’re, you know, together, I won’t intrude on that. I’ll get back to work. I’m sure there are things I can work on.” She played with her hair and looked down again.
“I’m sorry for bothering you M.”

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Mortll looked almost shocked at the young woman's words together with Zo? They were friends and close but they hadn't had that type of relationship as short lived as it was in years. She couldn't help laugh " Zo and I aren't together what in the world gave you that idea .... have you lost your mind ....I think you do need the night off why don't you go get some fresh air and clear your head.... Are you sure your ok ?" She glanced back and forth between the two women both of them were acting strange .... Then it hit her that maybe she was interrupting something here. " Tia I have a suite at the West hotel Why don't the 2 of you go out get some fresh air in the park take a walk around the lake and if you are out too late use my Suite at the hotel " She fished out a keycard from her phone case and handed it to the woman , with a devilish smile on her face .

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Together? Who the hell was she talking about? Her and Mort?“but if you’re, you know, together, I won’t intrude on that."
Zodiac had already accepted the ship of logic had just went over World's Edge and now it was an express ride directly to Crazy Land. Her and Mort? Well, it almost happened back in the past, but the last she knew the necromancer was seeing Nelson. Or was she just that out of touch anymore. That could be it.
Do what? Was Mort telling them to 'get a room' or something?" Tia I have a suite at the West hotel Why don't the 2 of you go out get some fresh air in the park take a walk around the lake and if you are out too late use my Suite at the hotel "
The idea had been presenting itself several times since this started, but this was the first point in it all it was eluded to out loud by basically an observer of this. Did it show that badly? Zo had been doing the best she could manage not to look like some rabid beast, but apparently it wasn't enough if Mort was offering keys to a hotel room. Absently, she took the offered card and dropped it into the abyss of her oversized purse. "Thank you," she replied to the offer. However, she did not like the look Mort was giving them both. She know something they didn't or was it some inside joke?
"She knows," Logic gave a final gasp from the depths of her mind.
"How can she know? I DON'T EVEN KNOW!" she snapped back, but she got no answer from Logic. Lust had plenty to say, of course. "Shut up, shut up," she kept repeating the words like a mantra.
"You know you want to. Could you just see her all..."
"Shut up!"
"And then that thing that involves..."
"Shut Up!"
"And see if you can make her..."
"SHUT UP!" Her mind screamed. It took a second for her to notice the patrons around them suddenly looking around. She had projected the thought by mistake.
"Who the hell just told me to shut up?" one patron at the bar looked around the room. Zodiac looked as nonchalant as possible when his eyes passed over her. She looked up at Mort and sighed a bit.
"I think you are right. Was good to see you again, dear, but some fresh air sounds like a good idea." she shouldered her purse and gave the woman a quick hug before glancing at Tia with a 'come hither' look in her blue violet eyes.
"You coming?" her thoughts found hers as she turned and made her way to the exit.

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Mortll looked shocked as Shut Up! echoed in her mind she looked around the room as she realized that Zo had projected it to every single customer. She looked at the woman concerned but felt a little better as she took her suggestion to go get some fresh air and to clear her mind . She watched as the women left the restaurant and quickly started doing damage control . She went to the bar tender and told him to apologies for the technical difficulty with the speaker system and a Free round of drinks were on the house for everyone . She watched as the crowd relaxed and settled back down. She smiled as a lovely young lady with a pretty voice nervously took the stage to try her hand at Karaoke

Re: Heartbreaker (Tiamat/invite)
Tia handed the hotel key back to her boss and looked back at Zodiac, who was waiting for her. She darted to her office. She rummaged around her stacks of papers and located her small black purse and leather half jacket. She tosses the coat on and heads back to the entrance of the restaurant. Tia took a glance around to see where Zodiac had moved to.
There she was, standing in the main part of the mall. The light shimmered off her dark hair. Her violet blue eyes seemed to almost glow. Tiamat couldn’t help but smile at the very sight of her. She bounded up to the woman with the grin of a high school girl.
“Sorry, I didn’t want to leave my stuff here. Let’s head back to my place, I can show my pets. They’re pretty cool. My car is in the parking garage. “She gently took the other woman’s hand as she headed to the elevator to the parking garage. She pointed at the black Chevy corvette and grinned. “That’s my car,’ she said. Shall we go now? She pressed the unlock button on her key fob and clicking sound of the locks echoed through the garage.
