At hearing Kendall speak for the first time since being locked in the Shock cage, Doc’s head whipped to pin his gaze on her. Granted he had been angry more about the girl he just killed and dumped in a cesspool, than Kendall at the moment. But Kendall did deserve his ire as well.
He laid a hand on Mortll’s hand as she was in mid stitch. Softly he said as he broke his gaze with Kendall to look at Mortll, “Let me speak to her. I do not want you to leave. Your presence will keep her at ease.” Doc flexed the hand of his wounded arm. He gave Mortll a smile, “Feels better, thank you.”
Standing he moved to the cage, where upon he sat on the floor, so he would be even with her. He didn’t want to appear as a judgmental authority figure, even if that was what Doc’s gut wanted him to do. “Kendall, Look at me.”
Doc’s voice was calm, soft and even. “You have had a dissociative episode. Innocent humans have died.” He glanced at Mortll and then back to Kendall, “Your sire and I have mitigated the fallout as best we could. You are safe; and we have every intention of keeping you safe.” He let the words have a moment to sink in, the last thing he needed was for her to get hysterical and the Penguins hear it and then come and search out the sources of the hysteria.
“You’re in a shock cage. It is for your protection, as well as the protection of everyone else. I know you are probably scared, have questions, and want out of there. But we cannot let you out until we what caused your fugue, because we cannot take a chance of that happening again. Once we know what triggered your episode, we will be in a better position to know what to do to help you. Do you understand?”

Re: Visions of the Past (Doc, Mortll)
Kendall sat quietly looking at Doc. The look on Mortll’s face scared her for it told her things were bad, about as bad as they could judging by her look. She ran her arm across her nose sniffing loudly as the tears continued to fall. She looked at her wrist, saw his name, frowned, and looked up again at Doc as he sat on the floor in front of her.
The woman obeyed as Doc told her to look at him. Her eyes were big and filled with fear as she looked at him. He began to speak, his tone calm and soft, almost tender. She listened quietly as he explained, her face devoid of emotion, only tears that fell silently down her face would tell anyone what was going on inside. When he told her that humans had died, she closed her eyes realizing it was worse than she thought.
Hanging her head in shame she whispered, “How many?”
It was such a simple question but something that could destroy her. She nodded as he explained where she was and what was going to happen.
She looked up, pain in her eyes looking at Mortll, “Does Mason know what I did?

Mortll shook her head a soft "No" leaving her lips "Honey ive tried to get in contact with him left messages I will find him for you if I can Ok but your going to have to get strong and be able to stand on your own wether he is here or not ... Do you think you can do that for yourself .... If you cant do it for yourself Do it for Riley She wouldn't want this for you ... It would be the last place she would want to see you . " Mortll gave a soft smile
She couldn't imaging the bond the two sisters had and the loss the woman felt when it was broken. Her twin her match ... She gave Doc a look glad that he was there. She couldn't imagine what it would have been like if he wasn't .

Re: Visions of the Past (Doc, Mortll)
Kendall seemed to be coming back to reality, not that it helped the innocent lives she took. She seemed to be genuinely upset as she understood what she had done. The best way he knew how to help her, was to find her trigger. What caused her fugue in the first place? He surmised it had something to do with the sibling’s death. Mortll had filled him in on that bit, and the fact that Kendall was not a stranger to an insane ward.
However the question remained, what was the spark that initiated this event? Kendall was aware that her sibling was dead. So it couldn’t be the death that triggered it.. unless it was an anniversary of something the siblings shared? And if there was latent guilt that Kendall held on to about the death. Or perhaps a combination of several things, but until he could talk to Kendall with Mortll around he wouldn’t know.
Mortll was the over protective sire. She would want to answer for Kendall or justify Kendall’s answers. Anything so that her baby wasn’t seen or put in a bad light. But would not be the point of Doc’s questions. He could explain all this to Mortll and she would agree to be there but silent, but would Kendall answer his questions honestly? Doubtful. She would say what she thought Mortll would expect her to say. It would be a subliminal reaction to having an authority figure that one respected involved. So it was in the best interest of Kendall to have Mortll not be present for their sessions. But would she agree? Mortll had hardly left kendall’s side, even though Kendall was in a shock cage.
Doc looked at Kendall, “The number doesn’t matter at the moment. What matters is getting you back to a position where you are well and able to function in society without risk to anyone. It is going to require some intense discussion of things in your past that you may not want to address, but it is my belief that you need to address them if you wish to move past this. Are you willing to do this?”
