Trahir Trahison hits the enter button on the computer, sending the blueprints he had been working on soaring off into cyberspace via email. He let's out an unnecessary sigh and spins around in his chair, looking out at the living room. Soon the scenery would change though some of the furniture he has purchased would take some time to deliver. He was content with the job he had done on the schematics and he was sure there was at least one change that Corentine would appreciate immensely. She had seemed uncomfortable having the crocodile terrarium so close to where they slept and the new set-up would move them across the apartment to their own space. Quite pleased with himself he awaits her arrival, standing and walking to the far end of the living room to watch the city from the balcony window while he waited.

Corentine heads into Veil Towers, exhausted and beaten up from her time in the slums. She was shot numerous times by the police and merely shrugged it off and kept on hunting. As she rode the elevator up to the twelfth floor, she had thoughts of a hot shower circling about in her head. That and some much needed bandages for all her wounds. Cori opens the door to the lair and heads in. "Hello, Trahir.”

Trahir Trahison turns from the view of the city and looks to her. His countenance shifting immediately to one of concern. "Who harmed you?" The tone of his voice is arctic. His eyes roam over her accessing the damage done and he strides toward her, taking her by the shoulders and turning her, inspecting her all over.

Corentine pulls away from him, not wanting to be inspected, this evening. "It isn't any of your concern really. I am fine.” Coris thoughts are only on the heat and warmth of a shower, nothing else. She surely is in no mood for being interrogated, this evening.

Trahir Trahison growls, his fangs slipping down from his gums in anger. "Most of these will heal before dawn... some of them are more severe. You have to be more careful Cori. You can't be putting yourself at risk like this..." His tone is softening as his speaks, it's less a lecture and more as though he was imploring her to be more careful. By the time he has finished talking the fangs have receded back into his gums and the icy glare has been replaced by a tender look. "I've put in a bid to have the place remodeled. The crocodiles will be moved to the spare room away from us."

Corentine "That sounds lovely. I am glad you are making the place more to your liking. As far as those reptiles, thank you for the thought but they were placed there for a reason Far be it to me to question.” Cori wonders why his fangs came out, maybe out of anger. “I am extremely careful, Trahir. I always have been, that will surely never change.” Cori turns from him and begins the trek into the bedroom, she wants to get clean and hopefully her body will mend itself faster if she relaxes a bit.

Trahir Trahison follows her in quietly. "Let me help you," he says, stepping past her into the bathroom and starting the shower, setting the temperature where she likes it and laying out a couple of towels for her while she prepares herself. "I want you to be comfortable Cori. The reptiles will be better suited by the relocation and you will be more at ease I would guess." He steps from the bathroom, leaning against the door frame. "Cops again?" He motions to the wounds.

Corentine cannot help but roll her eyes. Why does he feel the need to treat her as if she is incapable? She wonders if this gives him some sense of power or dominance over her. Cori undresses, trying her best to keep most of the wounds from being seen. Hunting as she does comes at a price, random holes in her body is not that hefty of a price... to pay to reap rewards. "Comfort is a relative concept, Trahir.” With that she steps into the shower and immediately feels better. The heat from the water immediately relaxes her. Cori put both hands against the wall of the shower and braces herself, allowing the spray to permeate each wound. "Thank you for your kindness. Yes, more cops.”

Trahir Trahison watches as she gets in the shower, notes the reddish tint the of the water through the glass door as it pools at her feet before swirling down into the drain. "Have you spoken with my mistake?"

Corentine "I have not had the time yet. Between work and hunting, my time is limited. I do fear this will be the case for awhile. He is working this weekend, I plan on visiting with him, this weekend." Cori soaps her body trying to avoid all the wounds, wincing each time her hands graze each bullet hole. She quickly washes her hair and shuts off the shower. "Can you hand me a towel, please."

Trahir Trahison scoops one up and hands it to her. "Did any of the rounds lodge in there? Did they all pass through clean?" He hates the thought of her being hurt. It enrages him to think of someone aiming their weapon her way and intending her harm. He wants to feed them feet first to his boys... slowly. He doesn't say as much, trying to avoid appearing to be upset with her. She would likely take his temper to be directed at her when that's in truth the farthest thing from the case.

Corentine "I got all of the rounds that did not pass through out, already. I took them out in an alley in the slums." Cori takes the towel from him and wraps it around her before stepping out of the shower. She makes her way to the door of the bathroom, no clean exit as he is in the way. "Excuse me Trahir, I would like to get changed."

Trahir Trahison nods and turns, exiting the room to give her privacy as she dresses. From the living room he says to her, "Good, at least you got them out. I heard of one vampire, she has bullets lodged in her brain that supposedly make her retarded. I think she was sent to the shadow realm and it damaged her mind personally. Or she was stupid to begin with and the death made it worse. Nevertheless removing the rounds is a good idea."

Corentine rolls her eyes, once again. Maybe she looks as though she is a child..maybe she comes across as being less than capable. "Thank you for the tip, Trahir." Cori grabs her light cotton pajama pants and a tank from the drawer. Less restrictive clothing will not irritate the wounds, she thinks to herself.

Trahir Trahison pulls up the images he created earlier in the evening in case Corentine wishes to see them and then moves to the wine rack, gets a bottle of priest's blood from it and sets it down. He also sets out two glasses in case she would like to share the bottle with him and then opens it, letting the aroma of blood fill the air with it's thick coppery scent. To him the scent is heady, intoxicating. He imagines it's a good thing he likes the smell and taste since he can't yet consume anything but the thick crimson liquid. Not yet. Though he is working toward it slowly.

Corentine dries her hair off a bit more and brushes it up into a high ponytail. As she is making her way to the living room, she smells the scent of blood. She has already fed, back at the hotel, so her thirst is not at its normal peak. Cori makes her way over to the couch and gently sits, as to not exacerbate the pain she is in now. She swings both her legs up and lays back, so her body is prone. "So what have you been busy with, today?"

Trahir Trahison takes a sip of the vintage, savoring the sinful delicacy. He brings the bottle over with him to the window, setting it down on a nearby table and looking down at the street below. Watching the little people from this height is like watching an ant farm. The humans buzz around going about their lives working hard for their bosses, the fat queens of the hives. Good little well behaved worker ants the people are for the most part. Constrained by their laws, their beautifully flawed system that comforts them and keeps them tightly in line at the same time. Since becoming a vampire that is one thing Trahir has come to enjoy, the simple few rules they have versus the multitude of laws and bylaws that once held him. "Just thinking about the vampiric state, redesigning the apartment, ordering furniture and the like. Mostly mundane things."

Corentine "Sounds less than mundane... I am sure you find it enjoyable." Cori senses that he has other things on his mind, things that do not pertain to her. "I am going to lie in the bedroom, Trahir..the bed may be a bit more comfortable, for me." She sits up and holds her side where most of the wounds were...pressure seems to keep some of the pain at bay. She also has no interest in discussing his interior design choices, tonight. Cori moves slowly back into the bedroom, favoring her right side.

Trahir Trahison turns and watches her head to the bedroom. He downs the rest of his glass and pours another immediately behind it. "Rest easy my love," he says. He senses she wants distance, perhaps the wounds are making her more irritable than usual and he deigns to give her the space she needs to be the best course of action at the moment. Thinking of her the first evening they spoke and then all the times that have brought them from that initial encounter to the present he gets a small smile that tugs the corners of his lips upward and then he turns back to his ant farm. Such good little workers...
Corentine does not want to sleep. Why is he dismissing me. she wants to get under the covers and feel him against her...but he has other ideas. She is sure his computer has a chain around his neck. "Trahir, I am not ready for sleep..please come here."

Trahir Trahison turns and walks from the window to the computer, reaching over to turn off the monitor. The harsh light from the screen winks out leaving the apartment bathed in the soft flickering light emanating from the flames of the candles. That done he walks over toward the bedroom, his face expressionless as he comes into Corentine's line of sight, leaning a shoulder against the doorway.

Corentine turns and heads towards him... wrapping her arms around his waist. "Do you have time to just lay with me for a bit, I am feeling a tad out of sorts."

Trahir Trahison nods his head and gives Corentine a soft kiss on the forehead. He scoops her up in his arms and carries her over to the bed, setting her down and settling in behind her, spooning her as he lets his fingers trail through her hair.

Corentine moves her body so it fits into his perfectly. "I thought we could just talk tonight, about goings on and such."

Trahir Trahison continues to play with her hair, laying in silence for the moment. He seems receptive enough to the idea but still says nothing for the moment.

Corentine turns so she is face to face with him. her arm raises and her fingers lightly trace around his jawline... "Talk to me."

Trahir Trahison shakes his head. "You talk to me. Tell me what's bothering you."

Corentine moves in closer to him..she wants to feel him, feel something. "I feel a bit lost, like I have no direction. I am currently, lost."

Trahir Trahison can understand that. He actually first made contact with Corentine because he was feeling that exact same thing. He trails the back of his fingers over her face as he watches her.. "Why?"

Corentine closes her eyes and tries to absorb his touch. Trying to feel it, but cannot. "I do not have a purpose, it seems as though my daily consists of the hunt, the slaughter and the close of the night. I want more, Trahir..so much more."

Trahir Trahison brings his hands down her neck and over her shoulder and arm, resting it on her waist finally. "Set goals Corentine. Whatever they may be. To own ten buildings, to join a faction, to uphold the Masquerade, whatever goal it is that interests you. Without goals it's all one endless night of blood and death and killing and talk. Achieve things you set out to achieve. That breaks up the monotony."

Corentine sighs... "i have goals, Trahir...typical that you would think I do not." coris posture becomes more rigid, less inviting as he spoke those words. Does he really think I have no goals, that none have been set. "I am going to meet with Revelation, soon. Do you have issues with that?"

Trahir Trahison "Yes, I want you to be chauffeured by a member of Andras when you meet him and I want it in a public place."

Corentine "Absolutely Not!! I do not need a damn babysitter..or any watchful eye." Cori pulls away from Trahir...letting him know she is not pleased.

Trahir Trahison seems unperturbed. "Yes, you do. You don't know what he's been doing. By now he could be in with one of the groups that hate Andras. He could be a Nec-Rat."

Corentine raises her hands to cup Trahir’s face..."I am aware of much more than you give me credit for...never think anything less."

Trahir Trahison looks her dead in the eye, "Take Helena with you."

Corentine moves in closer to Trahir, her body is now flush against his...if they had a heartbeat, he would surely feels hers. "I will go alone, Trahir."

Trahir Trahison plays with her hair again. "Why ask me if I have a problem then if you won't take into consideration the fact that I do?"

Corentine "I took it into consideration... Trahir. The thing is, I want to do this, alone. I am unsure of why you have an issue with it. Seems you, once again, underestimate me."

Trahir Trahison rolls onto his back and looks up to the ceiling. "I told you what I wish Corentine. You will either respect that wish of you will disregard it."

Corentine "Then I will disregard it. I certainly have no input in your daily, why should you have any into mine?" Cori then turns her back to him, pulling the soft down covers up around her shoulders. Her wounds begin to throb...not sure if it is the conversation exacerbating them or simply the depth of each wound.

Trahir Trahison links his fingers behind his head, closes his eyes and says nothing. His expression is peaceful, he doesn't seem upset in the slightest. If anything he looks oddly and uncharacteristically content... tranquil.

Corentine "Well, seems as though this conversation has come to a close or an impasse, not sure which."

Trahir Trahison opens one eye and glances over to Cori. "You stated what you intend to do. Did you expect an argument from me? Perhaps a tantrum? Would more of a reaction make you feel better?"

Corentine "I expect nothing from you, Trahir... absolutely nothing." Cori gets out of the bed and proceeds to the bathroom, she knows that her wounds need to be bandaged, once again.

Trahir Trahison stands from the bed in an easy fluid motion. Without a word he makes his way into the living room and picks his journal up from the table. With only a couple hours to go before sunrise he quietly slips out the front door and heads on down the hallway toward the elevator.

Corentine sighs. She realizes that he has no patience and no true understanding of how she works. Should she have asked him to help her bandage the wounds, that pain her so much… probably not.

~This RP occured 06/09/2015~

Corentine opens the door to the haven. She has not been back there since the little meeting with the Andras members the other night. She sensed Trahir as a tad upset with her, of course for no valid reason. She walks in and immediately spots him, but not a word is spoken. Cori just stands there, covered in the remnants of those she had slaughtered today. She places both hands on her hips and simply looks at Trahir.

Trahir Trahison hears the door open but doesn't turn from the window. He glances in the reflection cast on the interior surface of the glass without success, more to ensure that it is a vampire and not mortal humans entering though the key having turned in the lock was a good indication it was Corentine. He stiffens slightly but doesn't turn or speak yet.

Corentine sighs and without saying a word, makes her way to the bedroom. Her clothes are laden with the blood of gangsters along with several pieces of many a Paladin, a shower is what is needed.

Trahir Trahison can smell the blood, it stirs his hunger but even that stirring, that longing is distant, the rumbling of a storm still miles away off in the horizon. His temper is much the same. He has taken time to calm himself after the meeting with Corentine, Micah and Velveteen upset him. He waits in stony silence for Corentine to clean up.

Corentine undresses, favoring the leg that recently was shot up by those dreaded police. This wound is much deeper than the others and pains her, making it hard to walk without a small limp...even more difficult to hunt the way she did, today. Yet, she has a goal and pain will not keep her from that. Cori slowly makes her way into the bathroom, but quickly sits upon the chair that is in the corner. She seemingly, has run out of steam. Maybe she pushed herself too hard today, maybe everything over the past few days has finally resonated within her. For now, she sits.

Trahir Trahison waits quietly a moment, not hearing the shower turn on Trahir finally pulls his attention from the insects on the street and makes his way silently into the bedroom. He stops in the doorway, the soft light of the candles making shadows dance through his hair leaving his face shadowed for the most part. He is wearing a simple and tasteful business suit, navy blue with a crimson tie.

Corentine takes time, with what energy she has.. to assess this wound. The bullet went straight through her upper right thigh, missing the bone and all essential arteries... but painful, nonetheless. She thinks to herself, is it even worth it...is the pain worth the benefit.

Trahir Trahison walks to the bathroom and looks over to Cori. The wounds look bad, he knows how they feel, he's been through them, was savaged by the fae before. One of them ripped his leg off once. It hadn't felt at all good. "The good thing about immortality is that time really does heal all wounds."

Corentine looks up at him... her immediate thought is to just shut the door as he stands there... how can he be so damn cold. " I am sure it does." After saying this she stands and slowly moves to turn on the shower... the pain all of it, hits her full force. She refuses to let him see it, he may see it as a weakness and work to capitalize on it, one day.

Trahir Trahison watches her enter the shower. He strips out of his own clothing, tossing it onto the bed before opening the door, stepping in and taking the loofah from her hands. He begins to soap her up in silences, being tender near the wounds on her leg. He judges that it will heal up in the next day or two, it looks painful, but not too bad all things considered.

Corentine placed her hands against the wall of the shower, bracing herself... she knew even though he was being gentle, the pain would come. " Thank you Trahir, I appreciate your assist."

Trahir Trahison says nothing, just finishes washing her blood stained body, watching the red swirl over the tiles on the shower and disappear in a little vortex into the drain. He wonders idly how many gallons of blood are wasted each year by bathing vampires throughout the city. Afterward he reaches over and pulls the handle of the shower, engaging the rarely used body sprays. The water from the head cuts off and a brief second later begins to shoot from the walls at various levels. Trahir steps back, placing his back against the wall in between a set of them and washes the water beat the soap from the woman's body.

Corentine turns to let the spray wash away the last remaining bit of blood from her. It is like washing the day away... ridding herself of every action and mistake made. She then closes her eyes and tries to absorb the heat of the water, tries to forget about the pain...for a moment it works.

Trahir Trahison watches her for a moment then steps to her, reaches around her waist with his left arm and around her back and up into her hair with his right hand, drawing her to him. He still says nothing, just holds her quietly, letting the water beat them, running down naked flesh.

Corentine wraps her arms around him and welcomes the closeness. She loves the feel of the shower and loves even more, the feel of him close to her. It feels, complete, it feels right. " Trahir, I would not mind staying here forever...but we do need to speak."

Trahir Trahison pushes her back against the wall of the shower, hes hands moving down her body to scoop under her buttocks and lifting her up against the wall. Looking into Cori's eyes instead of talking he acts pushing into her... by the time they make their way out of the shower the hot water is cold... but Trahir has been no more vocal than earlier apart from the guttural and animalistic noises made earlier during their union.

Corentine grabs a towel and hands it Trahir, then she gets one for herself. She wraps it around her and grabs her hair brush as she exits into the bedroom. It is a cozier place now, as the tank of death has been moved elsewhere.

Trahir Trahison takes the towel from Corentine and dries off. He tosses it into the non-leather hamper once finished with it and then hangs up the jacket from his suit he wore earlier tossing the rest of the outfit in with the towel. He doesn't bother dressing for the moment, he's not planning on going anywhere. He just leans back against the wall watching Cori.

Corentine sits down upon the bed and begins to brush her hair, she wants to ensure that all the pieces of her many slaughters have been removed. She glances up to Trahir and smiles. " So are you going to be mute all night?"

Trahir Trahison shrugs nonchalantly. "Do you wish to hear what I have to say?" Loaded question that one. A no would provoke insult beyond the pale, a yes basically requesting that he visit his rage from the other night upon her. He is interested to see which option she chooses.

Corentine stops brushing her hair and lays the brush down. She reaches up with her right hand and slicks her hair into place with a quick movement. " Feel free to say what you want, Trahir. I am listening."

Trahir Trahison "You represent me. Everything you do represents me. It represents an entire bloodline and our actions, antagonists and alliances can last forever. When you speak to the heads of our adopted family, I need that tone to be respectful. Extremely respectful. They are not just the heads of Andras, they are the leaders of Tytonidae, a group of vampires whose sole purpose is to destroy other vampires. To ferret them out and destroy them. You don't want to see Micah's claws. I've seen him kill one of our kind before. I would have you alive and with me. That attitude shall not occur again toward family." He stops. Apparently he is done.

Corentine 's head floods with thoughts...ones that normally, she would spew without a second thought. " I understand, Trahir... I will be more cognizant from here on out." She opted to submit, as this is important to him and she is now part of a pair as opposed to a single entity.

Trahir Trahison nods. "Speak to Micah privately, clear up any misunderstanding. You will not apologize. You will simply explain what you were trying to in a simple and well-worded missive. You will give him the letter and say nothing. Does this sound acceptable m'lady?"

Corentine shrugs. " If this is what you want, sure." With that she picks up the brush and continues to brush her hair.

Trahir Trahison says nothing further on the matter. "Have you met with your sire yet?" Another potentially disaster creating question. Trahir's voice is terse suddenly, before it was soft, silken almost. Now, no. It is deadpan, expressionless.

Corentine gets up from the bed and walks over to Trahir. She wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him gently into her. She places a single kiss upon his cheek... " I have made contact, but not meeting as of yet. I was going to call him tonight, and meet with him later. I am not sure if there is enough time, as well..other things took some time." Cori smiles and kisses his lips...moving her way down to his neck. " What are your thoughts, Trahir?"

Trahir Trahison let's himself relax, to lean into her gently, enjoying her lips playing over his skin. He closes his eyes and just savors the caresses. "You know my views on it, lover. You know my views on him."

Corentine it is something that I must do. I want to make a break from him..this is a way I can do it without breaking our blood bond. Give him some attention, but keep him at bay, most of the time." Cori's lips return back to his, spending a bit more time there.

Trahir Trahison knows the kisses are partially a distraction. He also knows she has backed down to him on one thing this evening. Her seeing her sire is relatively harmless, if something happens Trahir will hunt his down for eternity and destroy him bit by bit. Thus he acquiesces to Corentine's request in between kisses. "Very well." He again reclaims her lips for a long and soft kiss before he takes her shoulders and holds her out at arm's length to make sure she is paying attention. "You will be careful while with him. We don't know what he has learned, we don't know his allies, we don't know his intentions."

Corentine smiles... " I am always careful, Trahir. I can take care of myself, there is no reason for concern. Would you feel better if you were present, kind of in the shadows like?"

Trahir Trahison doesn't say it, but would feel better holding her sire's head aloft in the middle of a lightning storm like some modern gladiator before punting it off the edge of a building... instead he nods. "That will work. I haven't mastered suppressing the darkness yet though so he will know I am a vampire."

Corentine Where do you think it best we meet? Maybe in the lobby here?"

Trahir Trahison shakes his head. "No, definitely not where you reside. Choose one of the bars. Lancaster's is only a few blocks away is it not?"

Corentine 'Very true...it was where I suggested to him actually. Shall we do it tonight, or do you have plans?"

Trahir Trahison nods. "Yes, sent him a missive... a text rather, and have him meet you there. I will go on ahead so if he arrives ahead of you he won't suspect we are together."

Corentine " Alright, I will do that now." Cori tightens her embrace on him and leaves him with another kiss... this one a bit more forceful. She turns and drops the towel, moving over to gather her clothes from the bureau. A black t-shirt and a pair of jeans, nothing any different needed for this.

Trahir Trahison gets dressed in a navy blue power suit with a beautiful red and gold silk tie, wingtips and cufflinks emblazoned with the Andras family insignia. A new addition to the wardrobe is a signet ring with a stylized T which resembles a dagger adorning his left pinkie finger. A golden pocket watch completes the ensemble.

Corentine looks at him and rolls her eyes. "I did not know we were dressing like that, you will now have to wait a moment for me to change." Cori strips out of her t-shirt and jeans and moves to the closet with great speed. She grabs a small black dress that hits mid-thigh and is strapless. To counter the lack of straps, she grabs her heels that have intricate straps that extend to mid calf. With the same speed she used to gather the ensemble, she dresses. A quick sweep of her hand, slicks her hair into a tight bun... she gathers a hair tie and secures it in place. On the bureau is her gloss, which she grabs and applies while facing Trahir. "I am ready now."

Trahir Trahison gives her a once over and shakes his head only at the wretched slime she caked on her lips. "The outfit is lovely," he says with a smile. With that he makes his way to the exit. "I'll be at Lancaster's. I'm going to have a drink first. Text me if plans change." With that he is gone, out the door.

Lucky you, the contraceptive(s) worked. Your union didn't create a fadebeast this time.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Trahir Trahison is sitting on the edge of the bed. As Corentine walks in he rises. One arm sweeps over the grandeur that is the apartment he just purchased, pre-furnished and in no way in the way he would furnish one of his own. "Welcome to the Trahison Neonate haven," he says dramatically. "Where all of our childer will reside their first nights while proving themselves worth more." He looks over to her, his eyes look weird, different, they gleam slightly in the darkness. As he steps toward her from the darkness. His eyes aren't even human... they look like a crocodiles, complete with vertical slit. "Where have you been these last few nights Corentine... with him?" There is a seething rage palpable in the air around Trahir as he watches her with that alien gaze.

Corentine walks in, covered from head to toe with the remnants of today’s slaughter. She performed many an autopsy today, all of which showed upon her clothes. "You are kidding me, Trahir... you are acting like a game show host. What is behind door number two?" Cori wishes he could relax, at times. Just be well... slightly normal. His eyes are a bit weird, they remind her of the yellow-tinged eyes of the crocodiles he keeps in the apartment. "It looks, nice Trahir. Congratulations on acquiring your new haven." Cori, stood in the same spot, not moving towards him. She ignored the accusation he made regarding Revelation, for now.

Trahir Trahison steps closer, his reptilian eyes meeting hers. He leans forward, inhaling her scent and snarls at her. "Did you coat yourself in grime and gore to hide his scent? Is that it? He is almost shaking with rage as he speaks. He steps around her and starts heading for the door mumbling something about breaking the man's limbs and nailing his to a swastika.

Corentine grabs his forearm and squeezes it tightly, pulling him towards her. "I was not with him, Trahir." Not caring at the moment about what she was covered in and surely not caring what his eyes looked like, she spun to meet him face to face. "Why such an interest in who I was with?"

Trahir Trahison spins with her grip, lets her words sink in a moment then looks her up and down. "Then where have you been and why are you covered in all... this?" He motions to the mess coating her nearly head to toe.

Corentine smiles. Not her usual smile, it was that kind of smile you sense from a cat... that just ate the canary. "Does this place have a shower and do you have any extra clothes here?" She knows she ignored his questions...

Trahir Trahison waves his hands toward the direction of the bathroom. "There are some spare clothes in the boxes over there," he says, motioning ot a pile over by the bed. "I'll have answers woman when you are presentable."He blinks and the eyes are normal, blue and human looking back at his though he is still visibly angered.

Corentine wants to fire back at him for calling her woman, but refrains. "Of course, Trahir... anything you want." Cori goes to where he motioned and gets a sense that something is a bit off with him. Why the hell did he have a different hue to his eyes, why is he acting so odd. She feels a sense of unease come over her... she didn't quite realize it until she got in the shower and the hot water hit her.

Trahir Trahison goes and sits down on the bed. Usually he would head into the shower with Cori but the thought of another man's disgusting hands prodding her flesh his him beside himself with anger. A thousand tortures roll through his mind as he visualizes them all being applied to the object of his rage. Suddenly though it's like a switch flips. The anger melts away and cold calculation sets in. Trahir doesn't need to do anything himself. Not at all. He waits quietly for Corentine.

Corentine washes up quickly... not even stopping to enjoy the hot water as it touches her flesh. She exits the shower and goes to where Trahir said there were some extra clothes. She pulls out a plain white T Shirt, from the box and puts it on quickly. She slicks her blonde hair back and attempts to make it presentable. Slightly under dressed, but it will have to do. Cori walks back out Trahir... "Why were your eyes a different hue?" She didn't not care about being blunt, direct was the way to go with him.

Trahir Trahison looks up to her and motions to the leather couch for her to have a seat. He himself takes a seat across from her, sitting on a leather chair. He clasps his hands and waits for her to sit.

Corentine follows his instruction, even though her gut tells her to stand her ground. She sits down on the couch, fully aware that she is in a Tshirt, alone. She crosses her right leg over the left, to have some sense of decorum. "So, care to elaborate?"

Trahir Trahison "You will answer my questions about your whereabouts and the state you arrived in before we get into trivialities and small talk." His tone is forceful, direct but quiet. He's seething now on the inside but the emotions are distant, muted.

Corentine "I have been in the catacombs hunting, not with Revelation. I have no interest in meeting with him or doing anything with him." Cori stands and walks over to Trahir, she parts his legs with her right knee and kneels between them. "I have taken on a new sort of hobby, Trahir. After I kill my mark, I autopsy them. I slice them from head to toe and look into them. It has proven to be a very dirty hobby, yet quite interesting." Cori then takes her arms and wraps them around his neck, interlacing her fingers behind.

Trahir Trahison nods approvingly. "Good, then you are going to walk the Bridge of the Immortal, the Path of the Necromancer. A powerful Path in it's own right." Trahir seems to have calmed down considerably. "I would assume that my eyes have something to do with the Bridge I chose. That of the Shifter. It leads to the Path of the Allurist. I would imagine Helena has taught you all of this?" Trahir's tone states that he is not at all sure of this. In fact it states almost the opposite.

Corentine smiles. "I have not really spoken to Helena, I have not had any questions as of yet." Cori moves closer to Trahir, kissing him gently upon the neck... hovering a bit before pulling away. "that could be it, it could also be that I am interested in seeing what my actions do to another being, how much destruction I can cause."

Trahir Trahison tilts his head to the side watching her. "That could be an effect of your Path coming to bear slowly. I've heard it gets worse over time. That is something we all must, as Killers, bear as our burden." The words at the end draw out a small smile from Trahir. Burden. He sees the killing as an amusing pastime and more importantly as one that allows him to get a workout, food and fun all at once.

Corentine moves so her elbows rest upon Trahir's thighs. "Maybe, one day... would you care to watch me dissect a kill?" She thinks that he would enjoy watching her disembowel a mark and she just might enjoy the thought of him watching her.

Trahir Trahison looks down at her. He wonders if she is more aware of his activities than he had thought. He knows she is aware of the pets, pets which he needs to feed soon. Not really, he is overfeeding them to help them grow faster. "I think it would be very interesting to see. I remember when you wouldn't entertain the notion. A human though."

Corentine lays her head upon his chest, not thinking she will hear a heartbeat. It is just something she wants to feel closer. "Trahir, there is much you do not know about me... never thought you were interested. You seem to be involved in so much nowadays... anything I may do or partake in, is just but a speck on your social calendar." Cori raises her head from his chest, looking directly into those yes of his.

Trahir Trahison just stares at her blankly. "My social calendar... right." He reaches out and cups her chin in his hand, thumb playing over her bottom lip. "Then tell me."

Corentine "Alright Trahir, I have a want to always dig deeper than the average person. knowledge is great, but I want it at a deeper level. I think this is why I have begun to autopsy my prey. That and the fact that my goal is to bridge to necromancer."

Trahir Trahison nods. "That makes sense. You spent more time in the Mausoleum early on than I did. The fact you seemed to feel at home there...", he leaves the rest unsaid. "Tell me a little of your mortal life."

Corentine Not much to tell... it was perfect. I wanted for nothing, nothing at all. I had a great family, great job... it was perfect or so I thought.

Trahir Trahison listens quietly then adds. "Until you were attacked in your apartment, savaged and dragged into this life?"

Corentine If I had to choose my sire, it would not have been Revelation. I am not one to ***** and whine about circumstances, I find it easy to adapt and change. I figure I am like the tide... ebb and flow in a way." Cori moves in again and gently kisses him on the mouth, gently biting upon his lower lip...then pulling away. "I do not hate him for turning me... because in doing so, I have found you."

Trahir Trahison gives Cori a smile. "Good. I would have sired you myself had you happened to be passing by. The entire incident was very fortunate actually. It would have happened entirely differently now. I never would have embraced Revelation. I would have feed the remains to Gustave and Lolong and that would have been that. We never would have met."

Corentine pulls away. "So, you regret embracing him?"

Trahir Trahison shakes his head. "I regret not being the one who turned you."

Corentine "Well, it is as it is... I am glad you are here now." With that Cori returns to Trahir's lips, spending a bit more time there. "Well, I have always been goal oriented. I set a goal and work diligently to achieve it. I did this through my entire mortal life, and it has translated into my new life, as well. What else do you want to know about me, Trahir?"

Trahir Trahison gives an evil little smile after the kiss ends. "Everything. I want to... go deeper as you said."

Corentine pulls away from him, while still kneeling between his legs. " Deeper you say, well... I am not really sure how deep you want me to go or even what specifically you want to learn."

Trahir Trahison watches her with a glint in his eyes. "I want to know every thought in your head. I want to know every experience you've had. I want to know everything you feel. Too much to ask perhaps?"

Corentine laughs. " Yes, that may be a bit much. Why don't you start with a specific question and I will answer accordingly."

Trahir Trahison nods. He thinks for a moment before responding, collecting his thoughts. "What does Trahison mean to you? Our lineage that was created when I was disenthralled. What do you see it as?"

Corentine rests her elbows on his thighs and rests her chin in her hands. " Well to start, I am not quite sure what I see it as, now. What I see for the future, well... it can become anything we want it to be. A line of strong, intelligent warriors. Whose goal is to carry out the wants and needs of the line and do so at no expense. Basically, death before dishonor, to use an overused adage. What does it mean to me? Currently it is a goal of yours, the quest for said goal has been yours alone. I have just been an observer, watching and waiting for you to actually bring me on board. Specifically, I sort of see it as a new beginning for us, a new family of sorts. We both lost our families, in very different ways, for sure. This is a way for us to begin again, start anew."

Trahir Trahison listens quietly to her answer. He hadn't considered that he had not spoken with her of his intentions. A lot of the future depends on her and to a lesser extend, her sire. Trahir means to have him destroyed eventually, quietly. "When you killed the violator, Vergil, how did you feel?"

Corentine shrugs. " I felt nothing, Trahir... absolutely nothing." Cori wonders if that is the right answer, it is surely the truth, but is it what he wants to hear. Her only thought on it and it was fleeting, was she had an urge to autopsy him before she made the kill shot...it passed as quickly as it game, as the task at hand had not yet been carried out.

Trahir Trahison says, "Good. You should feel no pity or remorse for those who jeapordize the rest of us due to stupidity or malicious intent.. Though I sometimes revel in the hunt and the kill or my own prey. I don't believe I thanked you for that assistance properly have I?"

Corentine No, I left as soon as the shot was made. It was not my place to remain there, I just went back to the hotel.

Trahir Trahison "West Tower Apartment 2005 will be opened to you along with Corvidae Flats 11005. Use them at your leisure."

Corentine " Thanks." Cori was not sure what this little declaration was about and thought it best to remain silent. She really needs to acquire her own place soon, just to have something of her own. Cori does not like to be a guest, not at all.

Trahir Trahison "I would like our childer to have a communal haven, several around the city. There is safety in numbers and I think having several bolt holes is important. This one we are in currently I thought would make a good starting point for new members. Thoughts?"

Corentine feels her body becoming a tad bit rigid, but regains her composure before the beast is let out. " Sure, that sounds like a plan. this place would work well for what you have envisioned." What Cori wants to say is something completely different. Like why can't he discuss things in order... why can't he let her into his mind before he has already made the decision, and then asks her thoughts.

Trahir Trahison notes the change in posture and gives her a questioning look. "Speak freely Cori, it's only us here. I value what you have to say."

Corentine I have nothing of any real importance to vocalize. Do you have any more questions? Cori does realize that even though he spoke of a thank you for answering his call for assist, he never said it. Cori senses that things have changed a bit..maybe it was the meeting with her sire. " Do you think I should meet again, with Revelation?" Since the meeting she has had this feeling inside her, an uneasy feeling. Like her attitude towards the one that turned her, should not be so distant. What harm could he do her?

Trahir Trahison shakes his head. "Absolutely not. I'm having him killed shortly. There would be no point." He sits back watching her having said his piece on that matter.

Corentine stands up, looking down upon Trahir. "You are having him what? Did you even consult with me over this?"

Trahir Trahison raises his eyebrow. "No. I gave him my blood without you and decided to take it back without you. I wasn't aware I had to discuss it with you. Why does he matter so much to you anyway Corentine? He wasn't there to guide you, to teach you."

Corentine turns and walks over to the couch, sitting down and crossing her right leg over left. " He is the one who sired me... there is some connection there, however miniscule. He tasted my blood Trahir."

Trahir Trahison nods at what she says. "Very true. He tasted your blood and gave you mine. I don't relish the thought of you meeting with him but I won't try and detain you. I decided to rectify the situation in a different way."

Corentine Without even speaking to me about it. Here is the issue, you do not speak to me on anything... you come to me after the fact and ask my thoughts. That is a bit backward, don't you think?

Trahir Trahison looks straight into her eyes. "Not at all. When I tell you I am going to kill him you become irate. That can be very taxing Corentine. You should learn to trust me with these little details."

Corentine Trust? Trust is when one who supposedly wants to bond with you, tells you everything prior to things happening. Not after, like it is a second thought.

Trahir Trahison frowns slightly. "I haven't killed him yet. I have been telling you prior to enacting plans. There are as yet no fledglings residing here or in any other apartments we own. I have informed you prior to that as well. What are you referring to exactly Cori?"

Corentine pulls her legs up close to her chest and wraps her arms around them. " Nothing Trahir, you tell me everything."

Trahir Trahison tilts his head to the side. "Say what you mean. Taking defensive postures or withdrawing won't help either of us."

Corentine Something seems different...i am not sure what, it is just a feeling I have. Nevermind it, I am sure it will pass, soon enough.

Trahir Trahison nods. "Our feelings as Killers fade with time I have been told. I think that is one reason why I wanted to cement the bond so quickly. I don't want to be emotionally vacant by the time we wed."

Corentine smiles. It is not the kind of smile that comes when you are happy, more like a smile that masks something darker. " Emotionally vacant, huh? I can be a killer and still remain with emotion. My feelings are NOT fading.. but it seems as though yours are. This is good to know, Trahir." Cori cannot sit any longer, she gets up from the couch and begins to walk around the small haven, examining everything.

Trahir Trahison stands too, instinctively. He doesn't think it through but if he did he would realize that he doesn't wish to be seated while another predator is pacing. Maybe it's just that they mimic each others body language more and more of late. "It's part of what we are. You yourself said you felt nothing ending a life but the desire to know more. Is that what you would have felt as a human? The Darkness manifests itself in different ways in each of us to be sure, but to deny it entirely is folly."

Corentine continues to pace, faster now than before. " Trahir, i know that there is a change that is coming over me, but in no way does it affect my feelings for you." Cori now has her arms folded in front of her.. defensive posture, but why?

Trahir Trahison "My feelings haven't changed. I don't want to give them the chance to. I want to bond to that I have this connection with you to stay even if everything else goes away."

Corentine cannot seem to stop moving, it is like she is a hamster on a wheel at the moment. " Well, that fell to ****, didn't it?" They both know that no bonding will take place for awhile... she knows that there is a possibility that it may never happen.

Trahir Trahison catches her arm and spins her toward him as she paces. "Soon enough. It'll be soon enough. I will not let being this change us." He gathers her up in his arms and kisses her forehead.

Corentine relaxes immediately, as soon as she feels his touch. " I am not concerned about me Trahir, my concern lies solely with you."

Trahir Trahison holds her close and brushes his fingers through her hair. "It will be fine, I promise."
