Laptop Help!

Post by Mora »

Okaaaay.

So I turned my laptop on today for the first time in like.. 3-4 days? and it's been restarting so much o.o It's plugged in! But everytime I hover over the little battery in the corner to see much power I have it says 'Plugged in, Not charging'

IM SO CONFUSED.
Does this mean my laptop is broken? Do I need a new battery pack? Do I need to buy a new laptop D:

please help!

I've had this problem before, it was solved with buying a new charger. IF that doesn't fix it, you'd best bring it to a computer specialist.

Has the cord going in the charger been bent or crimped at an odd angle? Have you tried moving the cord going to the charger power pack, to see if you can get the charging light to show up? If the light does come on.. it could be a bad wire. and if you are careful, it might still work while you get a new one.

If you can't could be like Lelantos said - your power pack is fried. An After market computer shop that sell peripherals will be cheaper than going to the maker on line.
