Old guard RB types might remember this idea I conjured up and was curious if it could play out here as well. To refresh memories or inform, The original 'Mindquake' was the result of a certain Carcosian experimenting with different forms of energy and concluded that dream energy was an untapped source of power. More so, since most vampires slip into a death like sleep as the norm rather than dream, a release of dream energy from them would be many times more powerful. He had a way to harvest and collect the energy for his own nefarious purposes and did a spell that effected the entire city in time. A spell with a simple purpose- encouraging all to simply dream.
The upshot of this rp was easy. No interactions required at all. The catalyst (his spell) was in play and how it effected the individuals was basically encouraging them to dream again. He could not 'read' the dreams as the energy was collected, so each entry into the rp was simply what was going on in the dreamer's head. No one knew what was going on, no one could interact on what was being dreamed (unless players decided to talk about them IC to others) Each entry was an original solo story. At the last count, almost 30 players added to the Mindquake thread in three different Yahoo forums. Individual entries that gave a view into the private side of chars without such info being public.
Now how could this play out here is why I am posting this for feedback to see if it would even work in Path. The catalyst would be easy. Zodiac was a practicing witch before being turned and has always continued to try and do things as she did before with little to no success. An attempted spell misfires and has an effect she had not counted on. That is kinda skating along the edges of what might be allowed in Path terms, I am not sure but if it can be done, how many would be willing to post what their chars would dream thanks to the result of a spell gone awry ?

That could help explain what went wrong. Zo teaching her apprentice and a key word gets mispronounced.
