I'm sure theres been answers to these questions, so if anyone can just hit me with a link to them it'd be great but.
I don't understand this whole business thing and how it works, what it does for you, how to make it work and what you have to do with it. All in all, I have no idea what they're all about. Can someone in a PM, please explain it to me? All I want to know is how they operate, if you can make money off of it, and what you have to do to make it a successful business.
And also what organised crime stuff is all about. Thank you.

It is not violence that sets man apart.
It is the distance he is prepared to go.

Re: Questions on Businesses.
I just read the Wiki on business for the first time.
On a more serious note, Digo wrote an in-character "Guide" to businesses on "The Middle Road", which is a group open to all vampires (kept private purely to keep humans out). If you want access, just let me know.

And that is how Path ended.Wiki wrote:Net Worth: This figure doesn't really change anything or give you more profits. It's just something you can use to compare the success of your company with others. [Net value = ((popularity + reputation (minimum 0) * 300) + average earnings + 30000) Then, if the net value is less than 30,000, it's set to 30,000 as standard. Then, the total is divided by either 0, 2, 4, or 6, depending on how long the business has been around. If it's been around for 60 days it isn't changed.]

I'm guessing whoever wrote it thought that division by 0 was the same thing as no effect, so I went ahead and changed the 0 to a 1. <.<

I guess I'll put this here rather than start a new thread...
Do the daily events ever become more relevant to organized crime? They all seems like legitimate business type events. Imagine if you will a group of drug dealers going to a workshop... or office equipment breaking.
I dunno, maybe it does or maybe the answer is elsewhere but what the heck, I'll try this way. :)

The daily events are all about the same across the board.
The only difference that I know of between legit businesses and illegal ones is that illegal businesses stand to earn slightly more money than legal ones. Whereas legal businesses are supposed to be more stable.
On the grid this boils down to illegal businesses being able to make more money, but being easier to hack/sabotage.
Legal business being harder to hack/sabotage but earning a little less than illegal ones.

Pretty sure this is no longer true. Doesn't Net Worth now dictate how much experience you gain from a correct answer to the daily business question?
