Re: One Hell of a Night (Revelation and Cori)
Lunging forward Jon goes straight for the throat, his speed is more than most humans could fathom, fueled by his thirst and supernatural strengths. There is no thought, there is only need, a hunger like fire burning through him, not understood, not needing to be. It needs only to be obeyed. They movement is more akin to a zombie attack in 28 Days Later than from Twilight or even Interview With the Vampire. No finesse, just raw desperation, an attempt to drag Cori to the floor so he can sink his teeth into her flesh...

Re: One Hell of a Night (Revelation and Cori)
He came at Cori with unbridled speed..she only had time for one action, one move. Cori reached for the pot of boiling water, grabbed it with such force and speed, that some spilled on her wrist and threw it in his general direction. She was unaware if it even made contact, as her eyes were closed…

Forward motion carries him straight into the super-heated liquid. Flesh burns, vampiric or human and the noodles slapping against his face may have been comical at another time. For the moment it's a slight reprieve as he lets out a howl of pain, skin blistering almost instantly. "***********!" He slams into Cori, knocking her against the stove. but his hands reach for his face rather than her giving her the advantage temporarily.

Cori opened her eyes and saw this “man” clutching his face..the scream that had come from his mouth was of a pain she could not quite fathom, and she had caused it... “Are you ok?” she said. It was not the type of exclamation that should have come from her mouth, but it did. As soon as she said it, she knew..she knew she took time to offer empathy, rather than to run… and it was a mistake that should not have been made.

Re: One Hell of a Night (Revelation and Cori)
The burned man's head snaps up at the sound and as he grabs Cori and drags her to the floor she sees that wreckage of a face... re-knit. Blisters fade away and reddened skin regains it's previous pallor. Fangs slam into her throat. Nothing like the movies she has likely seen. Invasive, violent, animalistic. The gush of blood sprays the back of Jon's throat and at that moment he has an epiphany. Life suddenly has meaning. Everything makes sense. This has been what was missing in his life. He can taste everything about her. Her strength, her compassion, her love of life... it's all there... it's like... everything. It's God, it's the meaning of life in a drink...

Watching the feeding stirs his own blood lust. The thirst begins rising up, still, it's dull. There is no raging within and he still feels sated. It's more of a drinker passing by a bar and thinking they wouldn't mind a drink than an addict desperate for a fix. He stays seated in the fire escape, back pressed against the middle rail watching. His part, if it is going to be needed will come soon. For now though it's all a show and Trahir feels the thrill of watching the sins of others with impunity.
Already his mind is turning on how to use whatever happens to his advantage. He's not strong enough to spearhead a bloodline into prominence. He doesn't have the necessary connections and no reason to try to do so at the moment. He could wait, watch for them to commit violations, report them, kill them and begin making a name for himself... That idea certainly has potential... still the two may prove to be valuable. Best to wait and see, plot and plan.

Re: One Hell of a Night (Revelation and Cori)
Regret… it is the overshadowing feeling that is swirling around in her head. Why would I ask a question like that? Why would I waste time? She cannot speak, but the question at hand is, “What the **** is happening?” Then a moment of clarity… a realization… this man is on her throat, he is feeding on her... drinking from her jugular!! This is not real, it is not plausible… she is fighting with every ounce of strength she has, but her efforts are futile and have been since he first pierced her neck. Something inside her is fighting...but fighting what... what is happening? Thoughts race as this “animal” feeds... Cori cannot run, she is slowly losing her strength. She is succumbing to something, but what?

The blood flow begins to peter off, to slow. He realizes he is no longer getting the flow he was and everything crashes in. He's ******* killing her! He is drinking Cori's blood and killing her and what... the... ****!? In a panic he pulls away leaping up into a crouch and staring at her in horror. He doesn't know what to do... Something deep inside does know... but the idea is repulsive to him... he remembers the movies where Tom Cruise gives Brad Pitt his blood and... but he's not a... tongue tip to fang tip and... oh ****... for real!? Ok, he can't let Cori die...
"Ok, yeah um... I need you to um... drink this ok??" Like he's seen in a few vampire flicks he bites into his wrist and... hm, kickass, no pain. He hovers his bleeding wrist above her mouth... letting the blood drops pitter patter over her lips... it's really kind of... sexy... sick as **** yes, but sexy too...

Re: One Hell of a Night (Revelation and Cori)
There is a sense of calm that has come over her… she realizes that this is not some weird sense of euphoria, but death. Never did she think that it could be so serene, so peaceful… She feels no pain, no worry or concern… it is actually quite nice. Cori begins to slip into unconsciousness…not knowing that the majority of her blood has all but been consumed by the man in the Metallica shirt. She hears a voice... it isn’t clear what the voice is saying and she is not even sure she wants to listen to it. The voice gets clearer...it is HIM...the one who did this. His tone is nervous, confused…uncertain… the words are still garbled, so Cori focuses... her sense of curiosity still present even in near death. “Drink this” he says... drink what? she wonders. Her vision is quite foggy and trying to keep focus hurts her head but she senses something hovering above her mouth... small droplets of something warm and wet fall upon her lips…The only words that come out of her mouth are " Well, **** it". Cori grabs his arm and lowers his wrist to her mouth... with a slight hesitation, she opens her mouth, ever so slightly and wraps her lips around the open wound. A small breath escapes from her mouth before she begins to draw the warm fluid in... she gags, slightly, at the taste... metallic like, thick and oh so warm. She knows, now, what she is drinking... but at that moment, does not care. Cori pulls his wrist even closer onto her lips..with more force than before... Cori is feeding and enjoying it.

Excellent, thinks Trahir. Instincts are strong it seems within the vampiric line. No instruction at all and his "offspring" has managed to create another fledgling... He'd had faith his progeny would be able to figure it out (as he had) and he wasn't disappointed. It may be interesting to see how long it takes for them to notice certain idiosyncrasies. Mirrors for example. The woman is very attractive. That might be a bit of a let down for her. Seeing the blood flowing into the mouth of the woman, her responding to it, Trahir nods to himself. He will follow these two for a time, make sure they learn as they need, don't break the whole secrecy thing.
He may even contact the female. His grand-childe.
The thought is morbidly amusing for some reason. He could have a family... or he could remain unknown, anonymous. He could even destroy them, maybe he'll find someone sympathetic to help them through their first nights, educate them and remain aloof. Choices are beautiful things. He's not as a vampire been much involved with family up until now. Memories of his mortal life try and surface and are quickly subdued. We'll see.... He heads quietly down the fire escape and off into the night. There are preparations to be made, work to be done.
