Lennox was still trying to get used to this new world that Doc had suddenly pounced her into. Everything was new and exciting with not getting bit all the time being on that wonderful plus side. She was out exploring and testing her new superhero powers when her phone alarm went off, reminding her of Skylar's party. Racing in what seemed a blur which she quickly learned was another new power, she entered the building. Looking around, she was instantly drawn to the only person she knew...Klara. Walking over to her, she smiled. "So how's my bodyguard today? Well...former...Doc kind of pounced after I gave him a couple heads."

[Klara]

Klara looked at him shocked “Oh my gosh I love blood orange juice. It’s my favorite. I’m not sure but I kind of doubt it.”

Caressing his face she kissed his head, “Honey what’s wrong? It’s only family.”

Looking at the people in the room she didn’t see any of the trouble makers in the city. It made her feel good to know he was from a good family. She hoped he would start talking more about his past. She wanted to know everything about him. They belonged to one another and would have all of time to learn what they both needed to know.

“I wish Doc would get here, I want you to really meet them this time.

He smiled as he kissed Klara back and then looked at the woman who had moved towards them. He spied a bar and quickly slipped off to return with 3 glasses of blood orange juice. He set them down and blinked a few times. "Family is a doubled edged sword, they are the ones that hurt you the most if you let them."

His mind wondering to his past as he saw April once more and then shook his head and rested it on her shoulder again. He watched the people gathering and felt himself drawing into his mind slowly.

”Thanks for the gift guys.”
I assume it’s from both of them. I look it over. It’s kinda cool. I glance over at the husband and wonder what he’ll make of it.
Having greeted the current group of arrivals I head to the bar. I make sure to concentrate on Ric for a moment to see how he’s feeling. I have to make sure to keep my eye on him tonight, what with him being a serious flight risk and all. Good job I made sure both our mobiles were fully charged, if he goes AWOL for too long, at least I know I’ll be able to reach him and coax him back.
I tap on the bar when I reach it and Sapphire jumps cos she’s still preening in her mirror.
“Another drink please babe. Make it a double. Same amount of coke. Oh and put this behind the bar.”
I hand her the jade orb. I’m not planning on getting wrecked tonight but it is our party so I can pretty much do as I please. Besides, it might pay of later if Ric gets too jumpy, as he always seems more outgoing when under the influence.

[Klara]

Klara smiled in surprise “Mmm I’m glad they had it!” She took a sip wishing it didn’t taste like ash in her mouth when she drank it.

Leaning into him as they sipped the drink watching him go lost in thought. “Honey what’s wrong? What do you keep thinking about?

Cheating was not even in the realm of possibilities for this man but something was bothering him and her heart bled for him wanting him to only feel happiness like he showed her each day.

Her eyes twinkled, as she looked at him “If we were to get married what kind of a ceremony would you want?

He smiled softly as he looked at Klara and smiled. "I would want a death and sexy decay theme." He sipped the blood orange juice and relaxed as he looked at her. "I am sorry I am odd baby."

He didn't want her upset, his past was just hard for him to talk about. "I hope Pi and Doc come by soon." He sighed softly and kissed her cheek as he looked at the woman called lennox he hadn't met yet. "So klara is your body guard?"

[Nerissa Clemming]

Nerissa grinned as she spied the bar. "Looks like there's stuff to drink. Good thing too, because I'm thirsty." She looks over at her sire, "I'm gonna head over if you want to join me." Sticking to the shadows the allurist makes her way to the bar and orders a drink. Taking a sip she examines all of the people, most she didn't recognize. She felt confident, which was a bit surprising, but she figured it was because she came with people she knew. "This is going to be an interesting night." She murmered to herself.

[Klara]

Klara smiled at Lennox and hugged her. “Not much of a body guard am I?” she laughed. “Lennox I’d like you to meet my boyfriend vada. He’s fairly new hear but a total sweet heart.”

She traded introductions with two. “She was having issues and I helped but I’ve could of failed since discovered just on the tongue.

“So what have you been up to Lennox? Doc keeping you busy these days. Speaking of which, where is the man?

What Pi and Elliot are wearing

The location was exactly as the name suggested, a pool hall, which rather meant her and Elliot were probably a little over dressed. Staring down at the deep V she curled Elliot a small smile, talking inside his head as they walked through the door.

If I play pool, I'm going to show way more of myself than I intended.

They were together, walking through the door, Pi leading and Elliot right after, their movements synchronous as they came shoulder to shoulder heads moving in the same direction to find the party of people. They weren't touching though, they rarely did in public, preferring to reserve any overt displays of affection for when they were alone.

Moving as one Pi and Elliot made their way towards Skylar (who was conveniently near Klara and Vada and… Lennox?); Pi taking the time to give Klara and Vada a quick smile as they did leaning forward to press cheek to cheek (in the French way) with Klara and then Vada before turning to the stranger her eyebrow arched and pressing cheek to cheek with her anyway (because that’s what the French did) - “Hello.. jesuis Pi.”

She then turned to Skylar with a smile. “Bonjour Skylar… Félicitations”

I’m sipping my drink when I feel them walk in. Yeah. I feel it. Probably because outside of Ric, Elliot’s the one I’m closest to. I turn to see him and Pi heading in my direction and smile brightly at the pair. I’m so ******* relieved they came it’s untrue.
Pi’s busy greeting the family so I set my glass down and tell myself to behave but I’m so happy I’m practically vibrating with energy. The moment she hi and congratulations I throw my arms around her and kiss her cheek leaving some of my gloss behind.
“I am so glad you came.”
I squeeze her and then turn my attention to Elliot who seems to have already had his fair share of loving if the staining on his lips are anything to go by. Having greeted Momma Bear I feel pretty confident extending the same greeting to Elliot while she watches. I pull him into a hug in my usual manner and kiss his cheek. I can only smell he’s been drinking, I can feel it too. He’s slightly buzzed.
“You started the party early. And without me.”
I pout and nudge him in the ribs with my elbow.
