--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
* Ursula Wolfe closed her phone after reading the email and then pulled out her tome and read the words, appearing at the altar within the court. Glancing around a moment, getting her bearings.
<Axel Rosen> Having staked claim to the room with the forge in it, not literally, but it does appear to be where he's at most of the time. Axel is kneeling on the ground, eyes closed and breathing in and out as the feeling comes over him that someone has arrived. It's an aura, he feels it, it washes over him a little. His eyes open, he stands up and moves out to greet her. "Evening, how're you?"
* Ursula Wolfe glanced to Axel for a moment and then nodded a bit, pulling a bag from her shoulder, it rattled with the sound of metal. Holding it out to him she shrugged a bit. "Doing well enough, those things in the castle were kicking my *** though. Here, don't know if any of it is workable, but the place is littered with this stuff."
[color=#FF0000‹Ursula Wolfe›[/color] How about you?
<Axel Rosen> The male had been there a few times, that castle. His success rate with those things is just more than seventy-five percent. He's not a fan of that, he'd rather have less experience for a higher success rate and spend less energy failing. His eyes look at the bag though and smiles softly, "I'll see if there's anything in there worth using." Axel drops to the chair nearest to him and then he smirks at her. "What have you been up to lately?" He eyes the ring on her finger, but doesn't say anything just yet. Though it's obvious that he's happy she's here, it oozes from him.
<Axel Rosen> "Oh. Oh I'm doing fine, yeah. Giving up on other factions and people, sticking to family."
* Ursula Wolfe moved to take a seat, easing out of her red leather jacket and then setting her own weapons aside. "Practicing a new skill in the castle as well as playing with the initiates." They were the only thing she could touch at the moment, and even that was a crap shoot, but the goods there made it worth it. "I thought you only had one faction... That one Jesse is in." She said, curiosity coloring her bright blue eyes. She rests her hands in her lap, the ring she wears hidden by her gloves, though the bulge that shows in the leather makes it apparent it's there.
<Axel Rosen> "Was in, got kicked, not interested anymore", he laughs a little bit and then thinks about this skill thing that she's talking about. "What skill?" He has to ask because if she's doing it, it must be important to her. Oh yeah, the ring is there, it's big.
* Ursula Wolfe smirks as he asks about the skill and picks up her sword. She noticed that because she had a love of blades that it was easier to perform with. She handed it to him and nodded to the wall behind him. "Put this behind you..." She said and then gracefully stood up.
<Axel Rosen> Shrugging the male does as she asks and then stays still. It's not like he's incredibly worried that what she's going to do may hurt him. It's only like he's been asleep for just under seven months. His hands fold over his lap, because while partially afraid, he's also interested, excited to see his childe grow.
* Ursula Wolfe smiled wickedly and moved to the opposite side of the room, she turned back to face Axel and closed her eyes while holding her sword arm out as if she were holding it. It took a moment, it wasn't at all fast because though she was practicing, it was still a talent that she was working on. After only 30 seconds, the sword appeared in her hand, the blade pointed at him but still a good three feet away from him. Her bright eyes, once blue were golden for a moment before fading back to their normal color, a bright smile on her face.
‹Axel Rosen› "Interesting", he says actually impressed. It's something that he's never actually seen anyone do before. "Where'd you learn how to do that?" It's not something that he knows or has he heard of any other mystics other than her doing it.
* Ursula Wolfe gave a bit of a shrug as she twirled the sword about then rested the thin blade against her shoulder. "I don't know really, I figured it might have something to do with my summoning powers... One day I was thinking of something and boom, it appeared in my hands."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Axel Rosen> Nodding his head a few times, "That's pretty cool." Axel doesn't really have any interest in doing that, but it doesn't make it any less interesting that she can do it. He looks over her blade, trying to inspect it's qualities rather than her trick at the moment. He's made blades for Kaelyn and Esperanza(sp), and if anyone else needs weapons, he'll do it for them too. This includes her, "This blade powerful enough for you? Accurate enough?" He can't really make indestructible items yet. Apparently that's one hundred thirty thousand dollars.
* Ursula Wolfe holds the sword out again, looking at the fine sheen she kept on it despite all the blood and gore it ripped through nightly. "Shan did a pretty good job of it, not a fan of rapiers usually. I'm more a katana girl. But it was free so I'm not about to complain." She said as she moved back to where she had been sitting, sliding her sword back into its scabbard.
<Axel Rosen> Free is a fantastic four letter word that no one should ever really complain about, still if he can help make her a better one he's more than willing to. It's really all he does lately. He goes out to train maybe twice a week really, but most of his time is spent in the other room working on making swords and breaking them down, making parts better. It's sort of therapeutic to him in a way. He enjoys it. "Seems legit, working anywhere? Hobbies?"
* Ursula Wolfe smirks a bit, shocked that he was after all this time, asking about things like this. It was novel really. But relaxing back in her seat, she pulled off her leather gloves and set them in her lap. "I've been working the same place since you changed me, that triple moon place in the mall. As for hobbies, spending time with my man when I can, killing hunters or those things in the caverns when I can't. I occasionally work on my rituals when I have the ingredients for them. But lately the ones I wish to practice the binder is pretty hard to come by."
<Axel Rosen> "I wish I could help you with ritual ingredients, like you've been helping me with blade parts, but I just don't have the means of getting those things easily", he's not sneaky and can't break into places. He hardly knows about the raids before or as they're happening. Shrugging his shoulders for a second he frowns, "Sorry. I wish I could be of better help with that." It's honest, but he has no means of doing it without massive amounts of help.
* Ursula Wolfe smiled softly, a sincere smile that lit up the blue in her otherwise icy gaze. "It's all good, I'll get some eventually. It's not that big of a concern. Even though spells are easier for me, I continue to work on my battle skills, this family really is one of warriors, it deserves the best warriors it can have. I won't be the weak link." She said, glancing down at her hands. For all her boasting, that was one thing she was still afraid of. Failing him, failing Jesse, failing The Fforde name.
<Axel Rosen> Jesse wanders in and Axel almost stands out of respect for his sire, but there's a look on Jesse's face that hints he's not staying. If Axel were not having a heart-to-heart with his childe, he'd have followed when the tell-tale hints became the truth. Jesse left and Axel is sort of left wondering what is going on with Kaelyn... some boy named Bradley? He's not sure what it means, but he'll be sure to ask later. "Okay, just making sure", her voice pulls him back to the conversation though his mind is still following his sire. "We should hangout more often? Perhaps you could pry me from my research?"
* Ursula Wolfe her brow arched a little "Research?"
<Axel Rosen> "I've been reading up on vampire myths, trying to discover more about our kind." He states, and it still sounds a little silly to him, but it's really all he has. Books, a forge, and time, an eternity of it to be exact. He could be hanging out with people though, which is why he's offering to spend time with her.
* Ursula Wolfe nods a bit "it would be interesting to learn more of our kind. At least outside of modern media anyways." She said softly and then relaxed a little more. "But I would enjoy getting to spend more time with you. We haven't had that pleasure much in the past." She said with another light smile.

* Ursula Wolfe smiles softly and looks back up, spotting Jesse and arching a brow at him and his mumbling before her gaze returned to Axel and she shook her head. "It is something I want, I push myself to be the best for myself as well. My father after all did train me to be his little warrior princess. The ritual side of me is my mother's side of the family, they both make me what I am... Or what I was... I practice both, just one is easier to practice than the other." She said with a soft smile.*Jesse Fforde aimlessly wanders into the room with the forge--one of those looks on his face as if he's searching for something but has forgotten what. He's muttering under his breath. Something about Kaelyn, and Bradley, and nothefuckinghumanisnotalrighttoeat. He blinks at Axel and Ursula, his expression only slightly stormy but not as violent as the others will have seen it in the past. He doesn't interrupt. He remembers he was after the ritual table, which he'd recently moved to the opposite room - and thus leaves them be as he stalks back out again.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
“Well we could learn some about our kind by gleaning what from media and folklore is true and what isn’t. We can look at it and try to sort of separate fact from fiction, if you will”, his voice trails off for a moment. Her second statement almost hurts, because he knows that it’s his fault that he’s not been around in the past. His head nods once and then grins at her, “I’m not doing anything else tonight if you’re interested in spending some time together now?” He’s not sure of her plans or if she has any at all.
Axel is eager to fix all the things that he’d left broken, mend them and place them back where they should be. It’s part of the reason that he had come back in the first place. Of all the things in the city, this family - Fforde means more to him than anything else. Working on his little branch of the family is paramount to anything else. “We could get started, maybe pull out some books, do some reading?” He’s not pressuring just stammering while he waits for a response to the question.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
Ursa glanced over at Axel as he actually seemed to want to use media to test what was and what wasn't real about vampires. The idea that he was made her smile just a little bit - part amusement, part joy because there were things that she had made lists about even before she had even come to this city so long ago... or rather not that long ago. It was just over a year that she had been a vampire, that she had be created by the man that sat before her, wanting her help in searching for things, in researching. Things she had done since she was 16. It was actually a little touching that he was asking her to join him in searching for the truth. It made her feel, for once, like he wanted her around.
She gave a soft smile and a light nod of her head. "Sounds like a good plan, I also have some things back at my place. Things I came with. Don't you remember what I was doing when you gave me a knife to the gut?" She asked with a light laugh, "Paranormal research is what I was doing. Granted i was looking for ghosts not vampires, but it's quite possible these 'ghosts' that were being talked about were actually us... or at least..." She noticed that her shadow was 'playing' with something and could guess who it was. "Or at least our wraiths..." She said nodding to her shadow.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
Her statement about the wraiths makes a lot of sense, so his head nods in agreement, “Yes, but we can’t rule out that spirits have been seen outside of the realm as well. Either by being summoned or naturally slipping from the bonds of the fade.” A grin comes over his lips, “I had once spoken with Revyia but there was only so much she could tell me about our kind.” The woman that he’s speaking of is one of the wraiths, though he hasn’t seen her in the city in some time to learn powers from or anything like that. It’s actually kind of odd now that he’s thinking about it.
“And I do remember what you did”, he thinks about the things that she might have used in her past that could help them now. Really the only thing he knows of that could help them would be first level accounts of stuff, going to elders and things of that nature. Still, getting any help at all is better than none. Any notes or books that she has are more than welcome to be involved in the research process. His fingers drum at the chair that he’s in, pondering what the next step should be. Perhaps they should just get started soon.
“So when is the next time that you are available to meet so that we can start this research of ours”, he doesn’t tell her that he might be interested in running experiments on ferals, himself, etc. Those details aren’t really important at the moment. What matters now is getting involved with her on a level that means they’ll be spending time together and solving a problem as a team. This is something that the two of them should have been doing, or something familiar, for some time.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
His mention of the summoned spirits makes her mentally smack her forehead, as a power that she herself has, she didn't know why she had forgotten to think about it. Ursa was just to strike it up as perhaps she forgot about it as she rarely used it. Granted, when she did, she tend to over use it, flooding the court with spirits and draining herself of ever bit of blood she had until she was nearly insane with hunger, but she also believed the wraith was what she thought of first because while spirits seemed more like recordings of the past, the wraiths were what people like she once used to be called 'smart' spooks. They could - in some form - communicate with and bother people. As she came out of her own thoughts, he was mentioning what she could assume was a wraith guide of some kind, given their discussion of recent.
He questioned when they could meet up again and her brows lifted ever so slightly, wondering if perhaps he had something else to do. She pulled out her phone and glanced at the time, it was still pretty 'early' by vampire standards, but she didn't question it, or him. She simply put her phone back into her back pocket and gave a little bit of a shrug. "If needed, I can be free any time. Most of the time when I'm not at work i'm just hunting all kinds of things to kill, hunters, those things in the caverns, hell when I'm really feeling like a challenge I go to that castle." Ursa said with a soft laugh and then continued, "Seriously, any time you need me to help you with what you are researching, you need only summon me. I know you can." She said with a smirk. He had the same powers she did... well he had more... but that was simply because he was older to this life than she was.
"Should I go and get those papers and information I had, now, or should I wait until we meet up again to bring them for you to have a look at? Granted, a lot of it was a bunch of information I saw as freaky and just plain imagination and paranoia, but one never knows. I haven't even looked at my research since you turned me." She said, glancing towards the general area where Jesse had placed a portal for them to make their way towards the QZ where she and Jordan shared an apartment.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
Today would not work. Not because he wasn’t content to spend time with her, but because he like organization. He like for things like this to be planned and not spontaneous, really anything spontaneous is bad in his opinion. Those times happen though. He knows it and has been a criminal of his own views at a time or another. See also; Nix. Though he doesn’t really say anything about or let it be known that he remembers it. The only person that he would talk to about it now would be Jesse, who as it seems doesn’t want to talk about it either. No complaints. The next and final reason that today wouldn’t work is because he needs to break down these mounds of weapon parts that he keeps getting. They’re really starting to wear on his bag. He needs a lock box bad.
He listens to her words about how she could be available most of the time and that she mainly hunts and works. She said that he could summon her, and he could. This is a fact but he doesn’t like to tear those that he loves away from their lives. Love is such a strange word for caring about the safety and happiness of others; still he doesn’t summon people often. If he does it’s really just because he thinks that it would save them in some way. Though the fact that she could be available any time brings the question to his mind of ‘when’. When to make this happen. When to get together and actually start the research. “Tomorrow…” He says aloud but it’s obvious that it’s more of a thought than a question - a statement to himself.
“Yes, could you do it tomorrow?” He’s not ready to leave or dismiss her yet, because if she agrees to tomorrow then the two of them will have to plan the details of where to do it, when, when to take breaks, etc. Were this not his childe, he’ likely write a contract about weapons and things of that nature, but he trusts her. One of the few. “And that’s fine. If they’re things that you’ve found in fiction or folklore and you’ve thought them to be freaky, then that’s more than enough reason to look at them.” He used to be a writer, and he sort of wants to go back to doing that. But rather than writing and publishing. He wants to write and store. Keep watch over the truths of their kind.

Re: Keeping up with Red [Ursula Wolfe]
She watched her sire for a bit, still awaiting his answer. He seemed to be thinking about things, no doubt organizing not only his thoughts but his plans for things that they would be doing. The only thing she didn't know was if it would be today or if it would be tomorrow or three weeks after never. She began to worry that she had broken him, or upset him with something but finally he spoke and she let out a little bit of a breath that she hadn't known she had been holding. However, she wasn't really expecting the answer, still she smiled softly and gave a bit of a nod. A nod that stopped as he began to continue with his thoughts.
"Tomorrow then," She said with a soft smile, the deep red of her lipstick contrasting her pearl white teeth. "I will make sure that i don't leave anything behind then. It's been a while since i have looked at the papers but I will make sure that they are all things that had to do not only with this city but with anything supernatural. Hell, I think I'll even get back into research mode, see if i can find anything else online that might fit what it is we will be looking for. It would be good to do something 'normal' for a night." She said with a soft laugh, relaxing into the couch.
Then she let her curiosity get the better of her. Despite learning early on in their relationship that sometimes she didn't like knowing what it was that her sire was planning, she was curious as to why it had to be tomorrow instead of this night when this night was still relatively young. "Out of curiosity, why tomorrow though? Big plans with someone?" She asked with a teasing tone. She knew about his ways, even if she rarely saw him.
