Missing gear [a] [?]

Okay, so I didn't realize it until the auction, but Katerina's Alligator Tooth necklace has vanished. I didn't sell it or give it away so I don't know where it poofed too.

It's hard to track missing items down, as there's so many things which might have accidentally happened to them. It's possible it was a bug, but I can't recompense people for missing items until we work out for sure if it was a bug. So if anyone else has missing relics and some more information, we might be able to do something.

I have mentioned this before but since you asked if "anyone else has missing relics and some more information, we might be able to do something." I figured I might as well speak up again.

Several months ago, about 2-3 weeks before the price increased, I noticed that Sundial's "Ring of Necrorecognition" had poofed. I have always been a habitual "double clicker", which has caused more than one or two misclicks while playing Path, but none have ever caused me to discard or even sell items at a shop unintentionally. Pretty sure the only mishap of this sort was when I accidentally transfered a bunch of items from Reganleif's inventory to another player, which occured quite some time before the Necro Ring vanished. Also, I am & have always been careful with Relics, keeping them locked. Thinking back on when this happened the only thing I can wrap my head around happening would be when Sun had an extra relic (either a Pluto Band or a Necklace of Occ) and had placed it on the auction. If I remember correctly, I noticed that when the item didn't sell & was returned to her inventory, it was unlocked. I am pretty sure that when noticed that it wasn't locked when I went to the inventory to see if it had sold, and then locked it. Other than that, there was no reason for me to even go to the Gear tab, let alone fiddle around with any of the items there.

I just noticed Victor hasn't been able to really kill anything so I checked his inventory and all his weapons were unequipped and the blunt weapon that Jesse gave him is missing. It was a handmade item. I never would have sold it and I never would have unequipped weapons. Not sure what happened but I'm sadfaced.

Yeah... about a year ago Alex lost both an unbreakable gun and a sword but I had no idea when or how, she came back from the sr and they were gone. I had been sure she had those equipped due to the breakable weapons getting lost when your charry is killed and afterwards blamed human error. It was the same time her t1 thrall was deleted to create the t2, had a lot of stressors going on at the time, and I just don't recall anymore details. I didn't post about it... having both go awol like that I figure my bad somehow, not a bug. It still nags at me tho! >.< No idea how the heck... anyways, lol.

Wolffyn's been kilt a few and never lost any booty that I noticed.

Day also lost a relic that he had locked.

I reported it as a bug when I noticed it. In the report I stated that the relic had been given to him by Wendigo.

David replied that he could not find any transaction that, that had happened; and that he couldnt recompense the loss.

A week later Wendigo said "I have this relic.. I thought I gave it to you...'

Long story short.. Day's lost relic somehow ended up back in Wendigo's inventory. Wendigo gave it back to Day.

It is now locked again, in his inventory.

Day has never been killed.

For those of you who received the missing item from someone else - have them check their inventory.. to see if they mysteroiusly got it back?

Great idea. Sadly, Alexandrea's gun was bought at the AH and her sword was a lucky find in the catacombs.
