--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Silhouette: walks through the door of station net and scans for an empty table.

Seiji: was clacking away with an odd level of focus at one of the terminals, bowed forward. A dark colored doll that could only be described as -creepy- sat next to the keyboard, watching him.

Silhouette: sits down next to creepy doll and begins clicking and typing. "hey its you again... cute doll."

Seiji: jerked slightly, quickly tabbing out of whatever he was working on and glancing over. "O-oh! Ah.." he glanced down at the doll in question, then back up with a sheepish expression. "Er..thanks... it was my sisters.." he explained, holding the item for a moment before slipping it into the pocket of his coat carefully.

Silhouette: begins browsing the internet aimlessly, eyeing Seiji as he puts the doll away. "If you were hiding porn on those tabs, I'll find out." Her stoic voice making the sentence seem much more serious than it's intended joke.

Seiji: blinked sharply, a fair bit of color taking over his cheeks as he glanced back at the screen. "P- what?! No, no of course not!" he yelped, shaking his head so sharply he was left dizzy and a little awkwardly sprawled in his seat.

Silhouette: explodes into unexpected laughter

Silhouette: You're so easy to mess with it's almost sad... not quite though.

Silhouette: I don't think i've laughed in years, must be doing something right there, porn addict

Seiji: scratched the back of his head, sighing softly. "Ah..well..I guess?"

Silhouette: HA! You admit it!

Silhouette: begins chanting "Seiji's watching po-orn"

Seiji: groaned, faceplanting into the keyboard and accidently bringing up the tab, which was a carefully disguised Command Prompt full of hacked lines of code and whatnot.

Silhouette: caught a glance of the screen and grinned. "So you dabble in the grand art also" She said in an odd medieval dialect. She stood up, leaned over Seiji's shoulder and navigated through the program partially, but effortlessly.

Seiji: sat up, watching with an expression of surprise. "Wow..You're really good," he murmured.

Silhouette: smirked, stood up straight and then returned to her own screen. "Got to make a living somehow..." Something about the idea still felt wrong to her, but hacking was lucrative for a side-income.

Seiji: nodded slowly, eyes tracing the screen as he followed the process she'd taken, utalizing his level four scripts. A few clacks of the keys, then he glanced back, opening his mouth... then shutting it again, uncertain what to say.

Silhouette: It seems like you've got all the right system ware... you just need plenty of practice! *Silhouette continued browsing the internet and looking at art she had uploaded before her turning. Sadness was leaking in as she realized she simply didn't have the space and materials to ever paint again.

Seiji: flashed a brief, but warm smile in response. "Thanks.." He couldn't resist a glance over her screen as well, curiousity evident. "Art?" he queried in interest.

Silhouette: noticed Seiji's eye's flicker to her screen and quickly changed tabs. "It's nothing special, stuff I did from a long time ago. I'm not even sure where they went after i... moved. "

Seiji: softened his expression. "It's really nice," he commented even after the tabs were changed. "You moved recently?" Latching onto the conversational hook, he sat back again, absentmindedly flicking through a few various pages. Oddly, he found himself glancing through an old forum post. Something about a debate over the reality of vampirism. The sight made him roll his eyes.

Silhouette: looked down at her keyboard, as a complement drilled through her ears. She felt herself hardening like steel as she realized that saying -thank you- was much harder than it should be. Thankfully Seiji began another subject but once again... one she couldn't talk about. As far as she knew, he was human and couldn't know about vampires. So a spun up lie, it was. "Yeah, a few weeks ago i started moving up here. My mom died and after that nothing else was really left."

Seiji: flicked through the various, old posts thoughtfully. "Oh..I'm sorry to-..." he faltered at his choice of words, trying to pick them carefully before giving up. Instead he simply flicked through to the next page, glancing over as he waited for it to load. "Where did you live before?"

Silhouette: gulped, would he try to search for her? what did the internet even say? She hoped nothing that pointed to her disappearance or death.. however they reported it. "It was just this little town in the states. completely overrated. That's why i decided canada would be a little different.... eh?"

Seiji: nods faintly. accepting her answer with a knowing kind of look. Not that he knew her situation in the least, but the dodgy tone of voice was enough for him to respect her privacy on the matter. "It is pretty different.. " he agreed.

Silhouette: desperately wanted to lighten the mood and sighed exaggeratedly. "I'm pretty disappointed that there aren't statues of maple syrup all over town though.."

Seiji: made a choking noise, lowering his head to his hands before breaking out in a fit of laughter.

Silhouette: noticed seiji's hair shift away as his head lowered. She could see his pulse throbbing and swallowed hard while trying to think of anything but being thirsty.

Seiji: straightened again, smiling warmly at her. "I bet there's one out there, if you travel far enough. I know for a fact my father used to tell us stories about the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival in Vermont. Ah..right...here!" He clacked away wildly before turning the screen, showing her the old site. "Their site was hacked awhile back, I don't know what became of it after..." [http://www.mykawartha.com/news-story/54 ... y-hackers/

Silhouette: sighed gratefully as he sat back up, hiding the temptation just as she had leaned in... perhaps a little too uncomfortably close. But she hoped she could disguise this closeness for her interest in maple syrup statues.

Seiji: glanced vaguely over, shifting in his seat. Had she gotten closer? The sigh caught his attention and concern flickered in his eyes. "You alright, Silhouette?"

Silhouette: almost bit her lip, mind still thinking about Seiji's neck. "yeah.. yeah i'm good. so uh... maple syrup hacks!"

Seiji: blinked a few times, eyes wide at the outburst. "E-er...right.. Apparently they hack to uh..show weak points in a sites system and offer to repair it.. Sounds like bullying to me..." he murmured, softening as he stared at the screen. A sharp head shake and a nervous laugh. "A-ah...but maybe not, right?"

Silhouette: couldn't focus anymore and had gotten much closer, nearly face to face with Seiji. Her fangs were extended, but she held her mouth closed as she stood up and pulled herself away and headed toward the arcade without a word. The secret door to Taranto’s office had come to her mind just in time.

Seiji: leaned back again as she leaned forward, his smile faltering with nerves. "U-um..." Eyes widened as she suddenly stood, and a hand lifted her way before stopping in mid air. "Did I...say something wrong..?" he murmured softly as he watched her leave, a sigh sliding past his lips.

Silhouette: fed, taking care to leave the human alive after consuming her fill. Faintly she'd heard seiji's concerns.. making her wonder if going back was a good idea. What could she say? She had to lie.. and was terrible at it.

Seiji: had gone back to fiddling around on the net for awhile, eventually tucking his usb and just surfing aimlessly.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Silhouette: exited the secret door, and made her decision. Seiji was too harmless and innocent to not become friends with. She couldn't just leave him wondering if he'd messed up... he seemed to stumble through daily life as it was. She didn't hesitate another second to go back... but also didn't pass an opportunity to mess with him just a little. She slunk around the long way through the cafe, using her heightened ability to sneak up and lean as close to Seiji's ear as possible ... and... "RAWR!"

Seiji: screamed in a high pitched, girly manner and fell to the side, slipping out of the chair. Feet tangled, sending his seat flying to the right while he fell to the left, arms over his head and staring up at Silhouette in pure shock.

Kang: entered moving to an empty computer station and logging to in the auction. He hadn't found too much of any worth, at least to him. But there was that saying one man's trash is another man's treasure. He was hoping he had someone's 'treasure' and tht they were willing to pay for it. He had just logged in as someone rawred followed by a girl screaming nearby. He glanced over his shoulder and smirked.

Silhouette: doubled over with laughter. Maybe she had another female acquaintance after all! She'd noticed another person enter the building but her normally over-anxious senses were dulled by .. fun. Yes, she realized she was having fun. and she briefly wondered if this particular cafe was drugged.

Seiji: rubbed his head, sitting up again with a hand over his heart, still shaking and wide eyed. "Don't do that!" he yelped, although it sounded more like a plea, hanging his head. "I thought my heart was going to jump out and run for the next city!"

Silhouette: was suddenly struck with a slight pity for the easily spooked Seiji. Silhouette then lived up to her apparent nickname among the few female vampires she knew... Silly. As the only way she could think of to comfort the shaking purple haired klutz .. was to hug him. Made equally awkward by the very slow, jerky movements made in the process... as she gauged her strength to not crush him.

Kang: watched for a short moment before turning back to his screen. In that brief moment, he had observed a couple, a male and female, who seemed to be doing nothing more than having a bit of fun, that ended in a hug of sorts. It wasn't his business. He gave them their privacy.

Seiji: jerked slightly in surprise. Hugs... he hadn't had one of those in a really, really, REALLY long time. A few years, really. Even then, hugs were something he'd only gotten from his little sister. Not a full grown woman who had probably just put them in a rather awkward position as it were. Swallowing thickly and with no idea what to do... he awkwardly pat Silhouette on the back, looking at some corner near the ceiling of the room, all too aware of stares they were no doubt getting. "U-u-um...th-thanks..." he stuttered weakly.

Silhouette: sensed the tension, and straightened up, satisfied that her telepathy picked up a small amount of comfort. That part was over.. but she reached up and patted his head slightly. "I'll try to not scare you again... my ears can't take that type of abuse!" She grinned and re-placed his chair.

Seiji: sighed as his hair was ruffled. Oddly it reminded him of his fathers form of affection, and that put him at ease again. "Sorry.." he laughed softly, pressing a hand on the chair to push himself up. Bad idea. The chair flung out and sent him crashing to the floor again. The chair continued to spin across waxed floors, heading straight for Kangs seat as Seiji faceplanted.

Kang: logged off the computer, finished with listing the important stuff. He dug through his duffle bag and withdrew some bones of the ancients he had collected, just a chair collided with his, causing him to loosen his hold on the bones, which sent then spilling to the floor.

Silhouette: threw her hands up to her dropped jaw as the chair collided. She dashed over, aiming to help the man with his belongings before she froze, staring at bones. Was.. was he a murderer? They looked rather old..

Seiji: sat up, a hand running over his face. A look of equivilant horror crossed his face. "O-oh god, I'm sorry!" Scrambling to his feet, he followed after Silhouette. A stray bone rolled under his foot, of its own accord for any who paid close attention to it, sending the boy faceplanting again with a loud thump, probably crushing a few bones under him depending on their resiliance and what not.

Kang: saw the look on the girl's face as she reached for, but only to stop suddenly, one of the bones. The male youth had once more fallen. He wasn't as old as he had taken him for before. The youth was still young, growing and trying to adjust to the changes as he grew. He turned his attention to the and smiled, in a winning fashion. "Ancient oriental medicines.. for my grandmother." he lied evenly, his allurist path boosting that aura that subliminally said, 'believe me.'

Silhouette: thought old medicines in the form of bones seemed odd, but she shrugged it off and helped pick up the medicine quickly. "I'm sorry, that was mostly because I scared m-." She spoke quickly until she stood back up and met his eyes. He was striking to say the least. She caught herself before staring became too awkward and handed over the items she'd gathered up for him.

Seiji: Seiji sat up, picking up one of the bones he'd uh...crushed. Flinching, he gathered up the dust that remained, handing it over with another sheepish apology as he stood.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Kang: Kang's speech was significantly colored by his Korean heritage, though his words were fluent. Keeping the disarming smile in place, he reached for the bones she held in a manner that said they were really of no importance, except perhaps to his 'grandmother'. Truth be known, his grandmothers were both dead. But the couple needn't know that. And blaming a fictitious relative was better than breaking the masquerade. He took the broken remains.from the youth, "Thank you." His smile became a grin as he looked back at the girl, "Yes I saw you scare him.. It is good to have fun. No harm has been done. Grandmother would grind them herself." He shoved the bones into a pocket in the duffle, he couldn't sell them now. "I am Kang.."

Silhouette: threw on a smile, not realizing the tips of her fangs had slid out a bit for some reason, and nodded her head once as a light bow (since the man before her seemed deep into his asian culture), "I'm Silhouette." She got quiet and then also added, "And this is my friend! Seiji!" rubbed the back of his neck with a small, awkward laugh, but the charismatic nature of the Korean male put him at ease. Oblivious to Silhouette's little slip, he bowed as well. "Nice to meet you, Kang."

Kang: Kang caught sight of the fangs, causing him to relax somewhat, he was in acceptable company. He was about to ask the girl about her name, when she casually tossed out the youth's name. "Seiji?" he pronounced in the proper Japanese way, as he gave the youth a pointed and interested look. "You must have old grandmother too, yes? Or is it grandfather?"

Seiji: couldn't help but smile, although it was a faded kind. "My mothers side of the family is originally from Japan, but I grew up in America. I never actually met my grandparents.." he explained with a faint shrug, hands delving into his pockets. Oblivious to the true natures of those around him, a simple human amongst the group. "My mother used to tell me a lot of stories, though."

Kang: nodded "Your mother chose wisely. The name Seiji is bestowed to those who the spirits say will travel. Seiji will set their own path. They will not hold to the past, they will make their own path." Kang nodded, "It is good to meet you Seiji." He then remembered the girl He turned and gave her another winning smile, "And how did you get such a name as Silhouette?" His tongue finding her name a bit difficult to conquer on first try. He would practice.

Silhouette: nearly melted at the slightly mispronounced version of her name and was taken by surprise as the conversation turned to her. She guessed there was no harm in recounting history. Although the memory of her mother hurt a little. "My mom always wanted to name her first daughter Silhouette, because the impression of a silhouette could be anything and everything. She wanted me to be limitless." She didn't feel limitless. She felt confined and dark.. feared. .

Seiji: couldn't help the renewed smile that he bore. To hear something that meaningful about a choice made by his mother.. it cooled some of the sting that remained from being separated from her and the rest of his family. "You too.." he murmured in reply. He followed Kangs gaze to Sil, vaguely wondering the same thing. It was a curious name, although the last time they'd met things had been far too hectic for a conversation to be held.

Kang: "Such fearless and far reaching mothers you two have." he nodded, "I cannot help but feel inadd-dequate in your company." There were some words he struggled with and thus would enunciate slower than normal. "I am named after my father. Kwang-jo Seung. Seung.. means successor." His smile became a look of irony. "He has a child. He has a successor.. Why name me this?" He frowned slightly. "So I come to this country.. they cannot say Kwang.. so I become Kang. It is a good."

Silhouette: thought about this, and remembered her interest in asian cultures as a child. "I think if people paid attention, Kwang-jo Seung would be easy to say" her pronunciation only slightly americanized. "But being a successor is a good thing, since many children get disowned and will not have the honor of being thought a successor. " she smiled, although she remembered her own father as she spoke. He never claimed to have a daughter, and wondered if he'd have prefered to have a son to claim .. if that would have changed everything.

Seiji: shrugged offhandedly. "Has Canada treated you well by comparison?" he asked, following Kang’s speech easily enough. He'd listened to his mother struggle with the english language often, so it wasn't too hard.

Kang: looked at Silhouette, "To be a successor.. yes.. but to be named this? It is like naming a horse, horse. Every day someone make a joke about it." He sighed, "I like Kang much more." He nodded, then answered Seiji, "Yes." he took a moment then expounded, "Treated well yes. Very hospitable in this country."

Silhouette: sensed herself fumbling socially and now she knew... she got thirsty BECAUSE she was nervous..not nervous because she was thirsty. She had glanced at seiji for reassurance, but only found the faint thumping of his throat more distracting. Conversation might do it, but she could feel her fangs out entirely... something she couldn't show seiji. She turned away a bit before saying "Canada is famous for how nice they are. That's why I moved here too."

Seiji: couldn't help but agree with both comments with a slight 'mhm' of understanding. "It's a lot better than America for sure. Although some of the drivers...aha... my dad could never stop talking about it, especially for Ontario. I hear B.C. is better for it though."

Silhouette: glanced at seiji in confusion. She knew very little about canada and had not even been in harper rock a month.

Kang: laughed outright at Seiji's comment about drivers. "In Korea.. no one follows the rules. One lane road will have three cars side by side. One way.. no.. it is two ways..does not matter what rules say." He nodded, "Here they follow rules. Here red light.. people stop. Not in Korea. In Korea.. Red means be careful and very fast. No one has nice car in Korea, unless they not drive it." As he spoke his about homeland, he relaxed and his speech became more crude, because wasn’t focusing on his enunciation,. But instead he was focusing on the story., "In US very polite driver there too. Except New York maybe."

Seiji: couldn't help a faint chuckle. "My mother used to make the same argument. I've been to New York once...so crowded." He wrapped his arms around himself and shuddered, glancing at Silhouette's confused expression. "I've been here for... a few years myself. My father traveled alot between Canada and America, so he knows abit about both," he explained.

Silhouette: watched the two speaking and smiled a closed sort of smirk. Between thinking of seiji's blood, and Kang's foreign accent paired with those almond shaped eyes... She wasn't sure she was going to survive another second. Imagining Korean traffic created a small diversion from the extra blood craving she was feeling.

Kang: nodded in agreement. "But polite crowded..not chaos crowded. Here people are very respectful of rules. Even the most rude here .. they know they rude. In Korea, they pretend they are right always. Even when they wrong." He nodded again, "I like country. I will stay here." Truth was he would stay because he was a vampire and this was where the rift was. But the youth need not be worried about that. "Your father is here.. what does he do? "

Seiji: couldn't help but flinch faintly, his smile faltering. The visible blue eye shifted away, studying one of the terminal keys. "I was...seperated from my family a few years ago, actually," he answered, rubbing his left arm. "I haven't seen them since. My father was a computer technician. He took them apart and fixed them up. A real wizard with tech of any kind." A faltering smile painted his lips.

Kang: frowned. "This means you.. are alone?" He reached out and grasped the youth's shoulder. "You are a little skinny. But it is ok. we will fatten you up." He gave the youth a reassuring squeeze in his grip. "The fates have drawn me here. This is why."

Whit: arrived near silently at the Station Net Cafe, not normally his type of hang out if only because he had gone to great lengths to design and build his own computer, which could be accessed in the relative safety and comfort of his apartment. None the less, business had taken him to Honeymead, and he felt the need to stop in if only so that he could assess the facilities. Perhaps it would be a place to test some of the software INVIGORATE was developing. What he found upon arrival was a small gathering.

Tiamat: Tiamat parked her 2014 Corvette outside the net cafe and entered the building. Her red heels clicked slightly against slightly against the floor as she approached one of the many compouters. She adjusted her dress before she lowered herself into the nearest chair. She simply stared at the screen in front her.

Seiji: scratched the back of his head with his other hand, a weak smile held up. "I've been alone for awhile, so I'm used to it.. Actually, I just got a job here, so.. things are looking up. As for fattening up..." he cast Sil a knowing look. "I uh..think I'll pass on that one.." Another, stronger smile and a faint laugh.

Jaxon: beelined for his favorite computer, sinking down into the seat and giving the mouse a shake to bring the screen back to life. He hunched his shoulders a little and peeked around before finding the financial website, typing it name and password, and taking a look at the latest figures from his grandparents estate. Satisfied, he let out a sigh and leaned back moments later. His gaze found Whit and he gave a lopsided smile, waving a glitter-coated palm at the man. He'd been practicing a new trick that day.

Kang: was already plotting how to use the youth as his 'eyes' during the day; without giving away Kang's true nature as a vampire. It would be tricky yes. But worth it if the youth could be controlled. And if he could not. He could still be an asset. Kang released his hold on the youth. He grinned at him knowingly, "It is as your name foretold.. you will make your own path. And so it should be." He leaned forward to say softly to Seiji alone, "You make your own path. But no one said you had to do it alone Seiji. Think on this, yes?"

Silhouette: tensed up highly as Kang reached out for seiji. /fatten you up/ ? he couldn't be.. would fattening up change anything for a vampire? was Kang a vampire? As her reflexes began to work themselves up, she felt a quickness to her she hadn't noticed before. as if she could run a blur around the station. As a couple more people filed into the cafe, Silhouette's glance shifted quickly from them back to Kang. But Seiji seemed oblivious..

Whit: took note of Jaxon, a street magician he had decided to hire on at Graphical Bibliophila as a potential attraction. Thus far, the payoff had been superior, and so the man was offered a rare, brief smile. The Necromancer was rail thin, and looked to be ill - at least vaguely so. He heard people speaking, and it caught his attention, though he thought it rude to listen in without joining. He found a seat between Jaxon and the crowd. "Good evening. Is something of interest happening here?"

Seiji: blinked a few times as Kang leaned forward, thoughtful about the comment. His smiled warmed, the innocent kind of honest smile he easily produced. He nodded a few times. "Thanks," he replied simply. The sudden jump in from another nearly made him jump out of his skin though, although he definitly flinched in surprise, glancing at the other two. When had they... actually now that he looked around it had gotten crowded fast. He laughed faintly at his own oblivious nature.

Jaxon: spun his chair sideways a little, mostly for distraction as he quickly exited out of the financial website to something more mundane. A website on magick, naturally. He still hadn't found any Sorcerers Handbooks, but it didn't keep him from searching. "Interesting?" He finally looked around and tilted his head. "I don't know, I don't think so. Nobody's said hello to me. Maybe I should do a trick? I learned something new today... although it does result in a bit of a glitter bomb." He grinned unrepentantly and wiggled his fingers.

Kang: sat back, his informal posture replaced one of a more formal "nature. As the youth flinched, Kang smoothly inserted himself into the forefront, to give the youth time to compose and regain his 'face'. "Please accept our apologies. We were discussing names and heritage. I am Kang," He gestured toward the youth and the girl, "This is Seiji,.. and Silhouette..."

Silhouette: looped an arm around seiji's as Kang turned to speak to the stranger who had provided such a perfect distraction. How could she justify this defensive feeling she had. She didn't want to lose any friends when she hardly had any.. and she'd never fought a vampire... but she knew she would if she had to.

Whit: glanced briefly towards Jaxon. There was a question brewing behind his eyes though it went unasked; this was not uncommon of him. There was little evidence of the exchange, his eyes as cool and smooth in their display of emotion as steel. The effect was somewhat haunting considering the starkly vibrant colour. Had Jaxon left a mess at his shop? "Perhaps that would make for a good ice breaker." And then confusion. Rarely did people speak for each other in the modern day. Perhaps Silhouette and Seiji were under Kang's care for some reason. "Greetings then. I am Whitaker, Whitaker Concord - like the grape."

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire wandered into the cafe looking for an ATM do deposit some money she had found laying on the street

Seiji: let out a quiet breath as Kang stepped in, offering a somewhat timid wave to the strangers. He nearly jumped a second time, glancing at Silhouette in a bewildered fashion as she looped arms with him. Though he'd only known her a day or so, she treated him openly like a long term friend, something that made him smile. Glancing back, he offered a quiet "Nice to meet you," to Whitaker and Jaxon both, a bit more withdrawn with the growing numbers.

Tiamat: Tiamat flipped her hair behind her ear as she began typing on the computer. She plugged a small usb into the machine and pulled up her music selection. the music of the first song quietly drifted out the speakers and Tiamat instinctively began singing along to it ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt8wxgfd77A )

Kang: , though being in Canada for a while, still had heavy Asian roots; which meant you never left family to struggle alone. And for some reason the youth with the Asian heritage needed him, as much as Kang could use him. He slid an appraising look at Silhouette, who also was staking a claim on the youth. He slowly smiled as he turned her direction. Yes this could be profitable.

Jaxon: didn't wither under Whit's cold gaze - maybe he was finally getting used to it. He tapped a finger on the mouse again distractedly and gave a bounce of a nod. "It might." He stated, and then slanted his gaze to the odd little trio standing nearby. "Jaxon. Friends call me Jax." He piped in with another wave of that glittered appendage. The three were so close they reminded him of refugees. Maybe they didn't have a home. He should offer them the sandwiches in his bag. He might soon.

Kang: turned his attention to Jax, but only briefly. Jax was quickly dismissed as a jester. One who had no depth. It was not an insult, it was recognizing one for their worth. Jax's worth was high as a distraction. But there was no need for distraction here.. was there? The gaze turned to Whitaker Concord. This one, this had depth. "Explain.. 'like the grape' please?" Being Korean, he had not studied grapes.

Silhouette: looked around at the many people who had entered the cafe. All of them just as beautiful as the next except one... who looked like they had dug themselves from a grave. Although she felt more uneasy about the two women who looked like they just came from a runway. Silhouette guessed that self consciousness didn't heal with vampirism..

Whit: found himself seated a short time later, taking careful notice to dust it off. He never fully trusted public furniture. That was like having a community toothbrush, or at least equally distasteful in his mind. Not that there was much in the way of choice in the matter. One leg crossed over the other at the knee. He was tall, for how thin he was, with faintly sunken eyes. "I begin to think you may be my shadow, Jaxon. We seem to run into each other a lot." He commented in a low tone, before a nod was offered to Seiji, when he was greeted. Silhouette was quiet. Perhaps she was nervous for some reason? He wouldn't have been able to fathom why, but curiosity remained piqued.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire made her deposit then turned looking for an employee, while she took in the extraordinarily large crowd gathered tonight

Seiji: pinched his expression. Like a.. grape? Was it a type of grape? Not really the type of guy who'd had even a glance of the high sophisticate life, the analogy was even further lost at him, so he could only shrug at Kangs question. Absentmindedly his free hand buried in his extra deep pocket, curling around something as within as if the object gave him a sort of security. "I..it's a type of grape then? Sorry, I'm.. not really sure.." he offered up with a rather cheesy grin.

Tiamat: Tiamat raised an eyebrow at the conversation she was overhearing and stopped singing. "They're called Concord Grapes. Good for juice."

Jaxon: Jaxon abruptly turned his gaze away from the trio again at Whitaker's words, well enough given he was pretty sure he'd been utterly ignored by them. Not all that uncommon, almost oddly more common in this town - but he attested that to the same affliction that meant most of the people here were oblivious to the zombies they lived above. "I didn't think you'd come to a place like this. Isn't there a computer in your shop?" He dusted his hand off with a vigorous scrub against one jean-clad kneecap.

Silhouette: was becoming antsy, not knowing who was who exactly but felt like she needed to do something productive besides cling to seiji. Surely this Kang wouldn't do something in front of all these people. "Would anyone like a drink? " She dug into her pocket and fished out a wallet.

Kang: nodded once in response to Seiji's explanation."This is how one should introduce themselves? " he then affected a different voice, "I am Kang... like a.." He stopped. "What is Kang like in this country?"

Silhouette: , without thinking blurted "Donkey Kong" in response to Kangs question.

Seiji: choked on laughter, trying and failing miserably to disguise it as a series of coughs.

Whit: let his hands come to fold together, his digits weaving over a knee cap which revealed, if it were not already obvious, that they were gloved. Black, which only served to accentuate the length and bone-thin nature of his digits. "Yes, Concord is a type of grape." He confirmed, before glancing between both Tiamat and Seiji. The woman seemed quiet. Perhaps she would introduce herself. "And I do, Jaxon, but I have been looking to test some new software. I thought I might take a look at the facilities." He shrugged, shoulders lifting and falling evenly before a query was posed. "I'm not sure quite what a Kang would be like in Canada. Maybe if your last name were 'roo'."

Kang: didn't know if he should be offended or amused. This was a different country, which meant different customs. He chose to be amused. He looked at Silhouette, "And am I supposed to save you... Princess?"

Tiamat: "That was Mario's job. And I don't see any overweight Italian plumbers in the room right now," Tia quipped as she kept her attention on the computer screen in front of her.

Jaxon: wasn't sure if it would be rude to accept the offer of a drink, but hey - when in Rome. "Do you think they have sweet-tea? I'll take a sweet-tea." He replied to the girl, who it turned out definitely wasn't a mute. He wasn't sure why he even asked, now that he took a moment to realize he had little intention of staying here long. "New software? I hope it's nothing too much, I like the computers here. They're free to use." He replied to Whit with a half-smile.

Silhouette: Silhouette's jaw dropped, although mario was the princess saver and kong the kidnapper... Silhouette was almost okay with this Kang kidnapping her anytime. Except she had a seiji to guard. she had to focus~

Seiji: covered the lower half of his face with a pianist's hand, eyes squeezed shut as he did his best, and again failed miserably, to stifle his laughs at the various comments. The whole situation was so relaxed and easy. He took a small step back, shaking his head with amusement. Unfortunately, luck was always against him. As he stepped back just an inch, a worker had come over at the mention of orders. The mild bump was enough to send Seiji sliding to the ground yet again today, probably dragging the 'princess' with him.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire watched as the employee she sought fell to the ground dragging a woman with her, she looked for a moment unsure, then reached out a hand to help the woman up

Silhouette: was mid pervy thought as she felt a tug at her arm and went tumbling down from the unexpected trip of.. who else but seiji.

Kang: Kang's view, Kong was saving the princess from a life of misery and drudgery as a pawn in a political game. Kong would give her freedom from all of that. He was going to expound on his explanation when both Seiji and Silhouedtte collided with a worker.

Kang: reached a hand to both of them.

Silhouette: saw so many hands she couldn't process the crowd but reached for a feminine hand as she noticed Kang's reaching out. It was too late and she had grabbed the beauty queen that had been at the atm. Her head was spinning from interaction, as she hadn't been near this many people since her job from the states.

Whit: intentionally avoided the topic of ordering a drink. Normally he might have in order to keep up appearances, but he lacked the patience for it. The scent of the things most humans enjoyed, he often found nauseating. The only thing that was even remotely appetizing to him was blood, and he certainly couldn't order that. Not with so many humans about. "Perhaps somewhere else." He confirmed, to Jaxon. And it seemed there was some sort of non-verbal exchange going on between the little trio he had stumbled upon before. Curious. "It was a pleasure meeting you, but I think it may be time for me to find my way back home."

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire easily lifted the woman to her feet, bowing her head she lightly kissed the hand she help, "My name is Beverly"

Seiji: sat up slowly, grimacing from his own cursed clumsiness. A grateful look crossed his features as he mumbled a series of apologies, accepting Kangs offered hand sheepishly. Apologies for the poor worker he'd knocked over, whom he also offered a hand to - nearly resulting in another accident. Apologies, as well, for those present, along with a clumsy half bow. His gaze flicked over to Whit at the farewell, and a brief expression of guilt crossed his face. Had his accident made the situation unsettling? He hoped not. "R-right.." he managed to stammer out, lowering his head.

Silhouette: Silhouette's eyes opened a bit at the contact of lips to hand, and her eyes scanned the rescuer from toe to head. "Silhouette, nice to meet you... given the circumstances." she added with a laugh.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Kang: "This is why you need to fatten up Seiji." he nodded as he helped Seiji up, "Build your muscles, attune your reflexes.. You need to eat and work out. Old Grandmother was right when she told me this. I now tell you." Kang grinned at him,

Jaxon: stood himself, pretty certain his drink-order had gotten lost in the sudden commotion, which was just as well. Though he hadn't arrived with Whit he had the sinking sensation he'd be lonely as hell once the man left. He snatched his bookbag up from where he'd deposited it on the floor and hefted it over a shoulder. "I should probably be going too." He replied, to probably no one.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire smiled as the woman offered her name, then flinched slightly as her eyes looked her over, always their eyes wandered, as if they could gauge her by what was below the neck, instead of above.

Seiji: glanced at Jaxon, another flicker of guilt present, before Kang pulled his attention back. He offered a sheepish smile. "I.. guess.." he agreed, although he didn't sound so certain. Fatten up? Work out? He'd lived a pretty unathletic, geek-style life thus far, aside from a few side things in life. He wasn't even sure if he -had- reflexes to tune! Still, it was advise none-the-less, and he didn't withold an appreciative "Thankyou."

Kang: slid a look at Silhouette then slid it back to Seiji, "You are about to lose your girlfriend.. " He nodded toward Busty. "That one has her attention. You work out.. fatten up.. build muscle. She wont look at her anymore.. She will look at you."

Seiji: blinked sharply, his pupils pinpricks and a flush crossing his cheeks. "G-" he choked, shaking his head quickly. His voice rose abit in octive. "W- we just met yesterday..." he squeaked.

Kang: canted his head slight to the side, "She likes you." He shrugged, "It is no concern of mine..." he let it trail off cryptically.. his grandmother would be proud.

Tiamat: "Well, looks like a nerve has been. Or two judging the reaction."

Silhouette: locked on to the beverly woman's eyes and the self conscious pit in her became heavier and colder- although she knew this was all in her mind. Come to think of it.... she seemed to spend a lot of time in her head and didn't notice whether she had let go of the woman's hand.

Seiji: opened and shut his mouth a few times, his mind drawing a blank. Sadly, any hints of flirtation of the like from Sil had gone completely over his head, that much was obvious by his expression. What was further no doubt obvious was the fact he had no idea how to respond, due to obvious inexperience.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire gave, Silhouette's hand a light squeeze, looking back into her eyes a smile graced her lips, "A pleasure indeed"

Kang: saw the youth's discomfort and felt sheepish in his teasing of him. "Forgive me Seiji.. " He clapped a hand on Seiji's back, "I feel a kinship with you.. I tease you like I tease my cousins." He made a face, "They are not as personable as you. Maybe dullwitted even. Tell me you forgive me my making jest of you."

Silhouette: felt the pressure and that confirmed that they had been awkwardly standing there holding hands with silhouette zoning out. She could feel her throat drying andher fangs poked her lip on one side before she could hide them, and her head shot down to look at the floor as the nick healed over, leaving a small dot on her lip.

Seiji: gave a light choking cough at the pat. "I-it's...fine, really.." he managed to choke out, feeling a bit sheepish about his own overreaction. "I never really had cousins myself," he added, jumping like a dolphin for the change in conversation. "Only my little sister, but I used to poke fun at her myself, so I can understand. Then again she didn't faze all that easy, and most times I ended up looking like the silly one..." An awkward laugh as he trailed off, realizing he might have gone off on a slight tangent there.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire froze as a drop of blood apprared on silhouette's lower lip. Her eyes locked on to it mesmerized. Slowly she leaned as the soft pink tip of her tongue appeared and flicked across the woman's lip. closeing ere eyes she leaned back as a sigh escaped her full red lips

Kang: nods 'Yes.. Much like myself.. at this moment. Thank you for not taking offense Seiji." He saw what he presumed was a kiss between the women. "It is good she is not your girlfriend.. because you have lost her.. " He nodded toward the two female heads slowly pulling away, from what someone innocently looking on would say was a kiss. "I really thought she liked you.."

Silhouette: noticed the woman moving in closer and closer until silhouette was frozen in place feeling a tongue slide across her lips, and the cool air of a breath against her. Her eyes grew to nearly the size of saucers and found herself totally immobilized. What just happened? "uh.. uhm. w..uhm.."

Seiji: looked puzzled at first, following Kangs gaze to the pair. He froze in place, his entire face warming. What?! A cough as he covered the lower half of his face in shock. "U-uh...that's um..that.." he stammered shakily, turning away quickly. His right ankle crossed his left toes, causing him to buckle the opposite direction. A little hop, then he toppled like the leaning tower in an earthquake... right towards the idly commenting Tiamat seated nearby. This could not end well. Not at all.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire opened her eyes, one hand fanning her exposed cleavage as though she might faint, but the smile on her lips and the glint her eye belied that thought. "You taste mahvalous" she whispered

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Tiamat: laughter escaped the woman's lips as she watched two of the people begin stuttering and blubbering. Her music was quickly forgotted as the skinny one fell towards her. She put one foot and pushed against his body with the toe of her foot to prevent him from landing on her. "Sorry cutie, I'm engaged. And I'm also not that easy."

Kang: looked at Seiji, then the female he fell against, "Apologies for my younger cousin. He lost his footing." He looked at the female politely.

Seiji: grunted lightly as a foot kept his weight from toppling fully. He cracked his eyes open, immediately regretting it as the first sight he was granted was a ,, well... cleavage, really. He scrambled back with a jumbled string of nonsense, an appology in there somewhere and a flustered expression, his waved hands and lack of balance causing him to bump back roughly into Kang, nearly upsetting his balance again.

Silhouette: felt her head filling with air and as this was most certainly a first- her eyes couldn't NOT stare. She couldn't say she minded exactly, but she surely wasn't expecting that from another woman. Her thoughts slightly lured by seiji's stumble... but never quite pulling away from the woman who just... what? kissed? licked? she didn't know what just happened to be honest.

Kang: Kang bore the weight of Seiji roughly bumping back into him. The Kid needed to learn how to attune and adjust to his body. The youth would be in flux for a few years to come. Kang gripped the youth tightly so he wouldn’t go careening into someone else unexpectedly. He hissed a quiet command to Seiji, 'Breathe.. and calm yourself.'

Tiamat: "Your cousin? You don't look like you're related. Also judging by the prior conversation, you just barely met." She lowered her leg and crossed it over the other as the mumbling mess backed up quickly into the man who had been talking to her.

Seiji: made the most ridiculous squeak to probably ever come out of a mans mouth, immediately seizing up at Kangs quiet words. He took a few shuddering breaths after a near minute of being frozen in spot. eyes glued to the ceiling.

Busty StClaire: Busty StClaire moved closer to silhouette leaning towards her ear to be heard over the boisterous crowd. Her breath light slid across it as she asked, "May I call you Sil?"

Kang: looked the female that countered his words basically calling him a liar. His tone became cold. "Cousin has many meanings. You show your ignorance."

Busty StClaire stepped backwards, quietly leading silhouette towards the darkened stage area of the bar, "Come with me, Sil" She whispered

Silhouette: blinked several times, jaw open as she was lead away from people. She glanced backward at seiji and kang with a look of confusion, although she worried that they'd mistake it for some level of excitement. What was about to happen to her??

Kang: Kang's attention was pulled toward Silhouette and the other female. "You sure you have no feelings for her.?" Forgetting the arrogant female and speaking quietly to Seiji.."If you do.. now is the time you should act.."

Seiji: shook his head a few times, glancing back at Sil. She looked almost eager, maybe, or was he wrong. A puzzled expression, then he glanced back, shaking his head again. Feelings for her? She was a nice friend, but honestly he'd only met her yesterday, what was expected? Love at first sight? She was a friend, if anything. He didn't have a say in her personal life, really.

Tiamat: "Aw, little touchy are we? You should be more careful about throwing out words like "ignorance" as not everyone has the tolerance and you may very well find yourself on the business end of someone's firearm." The coy grin across her painted lips sent the message of not being intimidated by him.

Seiji: F-f-f-fi-fir-..

Kang: was ignoring the arrogant female, she was, as the old mother used to say, 'bitter from disuse'. "What you say Cousin... do You go get her.. or let her go?"

Seiji: coughed, trying to forget about the mention of guns and the threatening air. He shook his head again. "U-uh...that is..We're r-really just friends I- I think.. I...it would be rude.. anyways... I mean we only met...yesterday.." He swallowed thickly with a shaky smile, rubbing the back of his head.

Kang: nodded. "Ok. Where do you stay? You have safe place?"

Seiji: gestured vaguely to the ceiling. "U-um...well the owner said I could stay here, a-actually.. " He faltered, then shrugged.

Kang: pulled a business card, and scribbled on the back of it, then handed it to Seiji. "You ever need it.. you call me little cousin."

Seiji fumbled the card, giving it a stare before slipping it in a pocket with a greatful smile. "Thankyou."

Kang: "And if you need a photographer..."

Seiji: Ph..photographer?

Kang: nods. "My sideline.. I am photographer.. when i am not scoping movie locations.."

Seiji: held something like awe in his eyes. "That sounds...pretty exciting."

Kang: shrugged, "You see one.. you see them all.. " He then looked at the youth. Maybe he shouldn’t tell the youth he scoped for porn shoots.

Seiji: puzzled over that, obviously not understanding, but he was polite enough not to poke too much into it. "Oh...well, thank you...again." He did a clumsy bow, probably headbutting Kangs shoulder or something as a result.

Tiamat: Tiamat's phone began ringing. She pressed the button to answer the call. "Hello? Seriously? Okay I'll be there shortly, just, don't burn the place down." she removed her music and rose to her feet heading to the door outside.

Seiji: scratched the back of his head, left alone again. With a sigh, he dropped into a seat and tugged out a usb. A little wind down in the technological maze of the web sounded perfect right now.
