    • Some women might not have liked being talked about as if they were possessions but being his was a point of pride for Keara. They both freely admitted that they belonged to one another. Though perhaps that was the difference. Enver had never claimed her as his own, she had given herself to him. She allowed him to possess her. She was his and he was hers. They were equals in their relationship, even if this didn't show to those that knew and loved them best.

Keara's right hand came behind her back, so that she could take the gun from him. With deft fingers, she clicked the safety on and then dropped it to the floor. The weapon was surplus to requirements, but more importantly, he couldn't hold her as she liked with it still in his hand.

"I love you My Enver and I shall never allow another to come between us. You must know that to be true. Ven is my sire and will forever hold a place in my heart. But you... you are my soulmate. I would banish myself to that accursed realm for all of eternity to stay at your side."

Having said what she hoped would calm him down, she pressed her lips to his. Her kiss wasn't demanding and full of passion as it so often was. It would perhaps have been better described as being soft and filled with promise. Tender even. There was never any doubting her sincerity as she wasn't able to lie, at least in reality this held true, but it never hurt to reassure him with all that she was. Enver favoured actions over words at times and when it came to showing how she felt about him, or vice versa, she tended to agree; actions could be far more persuasive.
All too happily did the sleeping woman nestle herself against her husband. Their argument, fake as it was, had unsettled her and to be in his arms was to be at rest. She never knew peace like it, not before she met him. It wasn't that he made her feel safe, as she was more than capable of looking out for herself, it was that she felt whole.

  • He felt her hand on his, but more specifically, the gun in his hand. She discarded it for him, the male frowning heavier when he heard it clunk to the ground in their bedroom. The whole night had been a fiasco, not that he had helped matters any. But there was just something or rather, some situations his wife was in that Enver could never see clearly in.

When she started talking, Enver started feeling like a heel for his actions against Ven. He knew everything she was saying was true. He always had, even when he attempted to shoot Ven. She used the term soulmate and all he could do was look away as the male clenched his jaw, guilt riddling his body. He hadn't ever given much thought to the idea of soulmates. He knew he loved his wife on a level deeper than his other wives. And he often thought that she was his anchor in this crazy world, but soulmates? Was it even possible for vampires to have those things? If it was, then she indeed had to be his as they always managed to come back here and sort the other out. Was that why he acted this way? Was this how soulmates acted? Weren't they supposed to bring out the best in the other? She certainly brought out a more protective and dominate side of Enver at times. Did that make him a better husband and vampire?

"I know, and I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." Enver said with a heavy, deep sigh as his arms came around her and his chin rested on the top of her head. "Forgive me? I'll try and behave next time." He would try, but Enver doubted the next time would be any better than this time. Not if certain boundaries were pushed and Ven tried to move in on his wife. Imagined or real.

His wife's continual restlessness eventually made the male start to awaken. One eye rolled over slowly and when it saw dark black hair; his wife's hair, the other rolled open as well. He took a long inhale inwards, filling the lungs in his chest for the night as he laid there, staring down at his wife. A kiss was pressed to the top of her head before he unwrapped himself from her hold. Enver grabbed the alarm clock and turned it so he could see what time it was. As of late he seemed to be sleeping in more and waking up an hour at most before dusk. He sat up on the edge of the bed, stretched his arms out and had quick thought. Next, a pen was grabbed from inside the top drawer, followed by a pad of paper, where he wrote her a quick letter.

Evening gorgeous. Meet you in the shower when you're up. -E- The male casually tossed the pad of paper on his pillow, then put the pen back in the drawer. The top sheet was tugged off him as Enver grabbed his cell from the top of the dresser and shot his thrall a quick text to see where he was and what he was up to as he headed in the bathroom. The phone was tossed on the sink counter before he hopped in the shower as he waited for his wife to wake up.
