Situation: Attempting to avoid the flooded streets and dangerous electrical wiring, you find yourselves taking shelter in a nearby building.
Location: Hospital (not the general hospital, but the other)

Lol kidding...

I have no ideas though... I mean I can explain dawn being at the hospital when it happens and why she stays (unless she does feed and one of you is a mystic or has mystic powers) why she would be stuck lol but other than the fact that in a disaster like this hospitals are not only at their busiest, and thus saturated in the scent of blood, they also tend to have backup generators that might be effected by the flooding.

Do we know how extensive the flooding is? Hospital generators, it would take a lot for them to go off-line unless the hospital was beginning to flood. (Sorry I work in Emergency Management and do Risk analysis so my geek is showing)

The ER would be going insane. Disasters bring out those hurt but the crazies who think aliens have landed...so we could use that as a distraction possibly...someone comes in blabbering about vampires?

They store blood for surgeries and the ER.

What about the electrical lines short out the generators and only the dim emergency lights are on?

As far as getting there. I would think it would be more of each person getting there on there own. I was thinking about having him coming from his job when the flood starts getting to bad.

I've just been watching and waiting. I will post once I've seen the scene set a little more. I like to get multiple perspectives before I lay down my posts. It's just my style.

I do like this scenario, though. I've got my own plan for Danton's appearance, and with them being in the hospital... it's going to be chaotic and entertaining to see exactly what happens.
