Looking for RP Partners!

[Calen (DELETED 5969)]

Calen is a very new character and I am looking to find some possible RP partners in the city to start him off with.

He is a professor at the local university and teaches Occult Studies (and he is a human sorcerer). His schedule is going to involve day and night classes, so both human and vampire characters would be able to interact with him on that level, if you want to.

Outside of his career, I am willing to RP just about anything, with just about anyone. At this point, he is sure there is more going on than meets the eye, but he hasn't decided what it is. So...no vampire theory, yet.

I am not looking to have him sired at this point, so that kind of RP is out. But, should that sort of relationship be established, I can roll with it in time.

Other than that, I hope you find people to write with! He seems like a pretty interesting character.

Doc is a vampire, but he has mortal aura and daywalker.. so he appears human.

I could see Doc finding something (non-vampire related) and taking it to a professor to find out more about it.

Her childe use to attend the university and she was never officially educated. She likes breaking into buildings.

This is Az. He's a ritualist with a fascination for the occult and language. He generally sucks around humans (he's got a high prey drive), but he's extremely pacifistic as it applies to vampires. Not sure if he would be good for interacting with your character pre-turning, but he does tend to work well with people (humans included) if he has some sort of common interest with them.

So I could see room for threading, for example, if they met through scholarly means. Or if Az had reason to value Calen's mind prior to meeting him.

Well, all of these options sounds like good starts for Calen!

Calen would definitely help out...I almost like to think of his personality as "Bobby" from Supernatural. Their go-to guy for any questions. He has the books, the knowledge...that jazz. And if it isn't something he already knew about, he would definitely find out. Research is something he excels at.

I can work it out so that some work of Calen's gets published, or the like. Putting Calen's name out there before meeting? Or, we can plan out a time that their intellect would take precedence.

I will look to add you on Y!M, or shoot a PM in your direction, if you are still interested, and work some plots out. I am pretty good with keeping up with threads, so doing a couple at once shouldn't be a problem for me. That leaves the time totally up to you guys.

I cannot say if Zodiac would wish to have a second 'boy childe' (as she referred to her sole 'son' in rps) however I could see his written works catching the eye of the gypsy witch. She is always looking deeper into such things and is an established presence in the town as far as some of the esoteric goes, so it could be possible he might venture into her shop out of curiosity one evening and would have no issues 'talking' to him. Could be fun. After all, the majority of the educated scholars feel fortune telling is a joke, so it might make for a heated debate that could lead into more subjects he could not say she is a fraud in.

Alexandrea is a huge fan of the occult and co owns the GQFA Studio Gallery which is in the University. She's there frequently checking on the place and taking an odd class here and there. (Mostly the ones with cadavers ;) ) lol. Alexandrea also is an Allurist with healthy complexion (and permanent fangs) who is very protective of *most* humans, lol. Fantastic! I have three plots going right now, and I could maybe handle one more. But, if you neither of you mind waiting for one of the other three to finish up, I would definitely love to work out those plot ideas you have. :)
