Suggestion: Pop-up Alert on Grid

Please, I know that it's part of the new grid mechanics but this flash pop-up showing the alerts has got to go.

Never mind the detrimental affect it has on PvP fighting, it is impossible to walk in the wilderness or do any other number of common tasks without this banner constantly popping up in my face and creating a blind spot for the entire top half of the screen. It needs to go (or at the very least move).
