If it can wait until after the Exchange, though, that'd be really cool. I'd rather not have two of these things going on at the same time, unless people really can't wait.

Re: MTG.. cause...
Our Gaming club at school does booster drafts twice a semester. Those are fun. I won one last semester and got a card I probably should have sold right away (it's not worth crap now lol). But I just play for fun with friends and only recently started collecting again. I was into MtG back in middle/high school, gave all my cards to my brother and then got back into it when I started college.

So mostly just casual and drafting then?
Sounds like an Old Card Swap would actually go way better around here than I'd anticipated.

also dying to know what this is. I'm guessing something Standard, must have just cycled out if it's not worth crap now, which would mean RTR block, probably isn't a shockland because those are retaining some value...Sphinx's Revelation?Madison wrote: a card I probably should have sold right away (it's not worth crap now lol).

*sifts through that booster draft deck*
I think it was either Chromanticore or Nessian Wilds Ravager. At the time (like the week after it came out) it was in the 30 dollar range and now both of them are under a buck lol

Agreed! Besides its so much more fun getting gifts spread out over time.Momento wrote:It can totally wait >>
My hubby loves the Eldrazi cards as well. I definitely play for fun and share the same sentiments as Cass's player when playing with friends against commander decks that take 10 minute turns or make you unable to play. Like the time my brother cast a card that wouldn't allow play from graveyards and my deck was all about recycling creatures. It kinda takes the fun out of possibly winning and makes me scream for "new game"!!
I did have fun playing against my sister-in-law's Kemba deck and plummeted her 52 cats with a crap ton of Zombies! I do not have a favorite card or style/theme yet (but I do like Soron Markov and Drana). Although, I prefer playing a two-three colored deck as mono can get boring. I do not like playing a non-flying creature deck against everyone else's flying. ugh. Learning what triggers to use for which cards to pull out of the library for situations can be tough, but depending on the deck I can learn.
