No idea how to word this but my apologizes in advance to the eyeballs of anyone reading beyond this. Mad's also right I believe about the addition of the paladins and that was why we now have blood thieves as well. And chapters are not the only things that influence the game.
The way that those npc's react on the grid does influence how players will rp their characters. There is a list of things that happen on grid that you can't rp out but a lot of us do write about almost everything that does happen on grid. And will also act on on grid to match rp. People have done impact threads outside of chapters that caused actions to happen on the grid.
How the players react and perceive the violations list was last year's chapter and as players we made actions that changed the system. (let's please not derail about that) But, there just are some thing that just.. 'are' because it's a game. There is only so much diversity that can be coded into the grid. The David has already said that last year's chapter (chapter 2) was not about the Masquerade and that there will be a chapter about that.
So a lot of the conflict over how vampires get exposed and by whom and the all the salsa for that bag of chips could end up a lot different a year from now. The way the grid is coded may end up changing due to the outcome of chapter number who knows, any how. Or maybe you can start an impact thread to try and flesh out the Paladin Lore, add some more depth to it, influence the Cannon if you can and make changes happen on the grid.
