With a grin, Wolffyn slipped out of the hole nimbly and lightly tossed a small handful of snow into Jonah's face with a laugh as she dropped out of shadows. "How about a time out instead? We may not need to get dried and warmed up but wouldn't it be nice? Besides, Winnie will be hurt she's missing out on all the fun." Wolffyn flashed a quick grin at her friend before turning to dash full speed towards the door to the house.

The redhead fully expected the large killer to follow her but didn't look back to check. And much as she had enjoyed renewing her friendship with Jonah, she was still not any more of a social person than she ever had been. She was far less so than ever, in fact. With the chip on her shoulder firmly in place and no idea of modesty whatsoever the small shadow peeled of the wet clothing and left them in a heap on the floor behind the still open front door.

The vast assortment of slippers, arranged in an orderly yet artful fashion, were all ignored as Wolffyn tore into the closet bathroom. She left a trail of wet footprints across the clean floor as she shouted out to Jonah in case he had come in behind her. "Leave the wet stuff at the door, we'll clean it up later! I'll be out in a sec and then the shower's all yours!"

The red head was gone almost as soon as the words were out of her mouth and Jonah simply chuckled and followed more slowly, the trail of water letting him know where she had gone. He had visited the large house once before and he was unsure if he would even be allowed inside. Testing the door, it seemed like he would be.

He sat on the stoop and pulled off his boots and laid his socks beside them. They would likely freeze before they dried out but better they freeze outside of his boots. The killer heard her holler and nodded silently, sitting on the stoop outside and letting the slight wind blow over him. The cold did not bother him but he could still feel it and he remembered for a moment what it would be like to sit in this exact same position as a human.

Curled in on himself, avoiding the wind. Limbs and teeth shaking as he could barely function. No, this was a vast improvement to what he would be experiencing otherwise.

Taking the world's fastest shower, the Shadow was out of the bathroom fully dressed and looking for Jonah with a small pug chasing around her legs before the killer's butt hardly had time to flatten on the stoop. After a moment, the redhead figured out that Jonah had stayed outside and rolled her eyes.

"Oh for..." Wolffyn muttered under her breath as she pulled the door open as widely as it would go.

"Git your butt inside, you big dummy. Shower's all yours. Toss your clothes out the door ... Of. The. Bathroom... Once you're undressed and I'll get them washed and dried for you."

The pug knew Jonah from way back but hadn't seen the huge killer in ages. She made a beeline for the one time postal employee and launched herself at his large form with several loud yips.

Jonah caught the animal and scratched its fur even as Wolffyn jokingly berated him. Carrying the creature inside, he nodded in acquiescence. "Got it."

He sat the dog outside the door and shut it before stripping down and cracking it just enough to let his clothes fall and got under the hot water. Her shower had been quick but it was still surprising that there was hot water left. It had not been his experience when sharing a bathroom to have any left over.

When he found a loofah, he wiped the bit of grime that had collected on him from running around while soaking wet and freshened himself up as best he could without using too much of her product before drying himself off and wrapping the towel around him. He wandered out of the bathroom and hollered for her, "So...what're we doing while my clothes dry?"

Wolffyn walked Jonah's clothes over to the washer and got the load started on a short cycle before grabbing up one of the extra large terry cloth bathrobes. The Estate was huge and set up for many over night guests. It had been that way for as long as Wolffyn had known Serenity.

The redhead opened the bathroom door just enough to hang the robe just inside the bathroom, rolling her eyes as a huge cloud of steam shot out. "What are you doing in there? Cooking lobster?"

Maybe the Killer heard her, maybe he didn't. The little Shadow was already down the hall when she heard Jonah calling out. "We could spar if you want. But unless you've ever practiced in a kilt? I think I'd have the advantage. Scrabble?"

The robe was just big enough to cover him though it did strain around his shoulders some, and he cinched it tight as he walked out of the bathroom. He was surprised to find that it covered him all the way down to his knees. When he saw her, he smiled and laughed at her comment. "Yeah, I don't know that I could do much dressed like this. So Scrabble sounds fine."

It had been a long while since he had been in the building and he wasn't sure where a 'game room' would be so he simply followed where she led. "I forgot how big this place was." He was trying to make conversation as they walked but was unsure of what to say so went with something obvious that might lead to something more interesting.

"You haven't ever even been on any of the other floors yet!" The redhead chuckled and lead them into the kitchen where she put on a pot to warm up some water and then got out a couple blood bags. "For later, if we feel like it."

The living room was just a few steps away, Wolffyn did her usual run and pounce jump onto the sofa that Sethos lived under but didn't think to warn her friend of the ankle biter that lurked beneath the davenport. The demon dog that belonged to Serenity was already growling up a storm however, so there was a good chance that the large Killer would notice the small beast before any of his toes were eaten.

"You want to play with 7 or 9 tiles each?" the little Shadow asked as she pulled the game out from under the coffee table and opened up the box.

"That's exactly my point," he replied with a slight chuckle. Jonah nodded his approval at the warming of the water as he stuck close to her while she led him through the unfamiliar home.

While he was confident that the furniture would support his frame, the big killer doubted it would be undmaged if he tried Wolffyn's maneuver so walked more slowly in to the room. Many animals seemed to take a disliking to him rather quickly but the noise from under the couch was still a surprise. He decided to sit as far away from whatever it was as he could manage.

"Let's go with 9 I guess. It's easier with more tiles, right?"

With a chuckle, Wolffyn watched the huge killer skirt away from the sounds of Sethos. But only for a few moments. “It’s a demon.” She said firmly as she nodded her head and pointed underneath the sofa.

“Seren thinks it’s a dog but we all know better and just humor her. It’s always trying to eat everyone’s toes. Nasty thing. No one kills it because she loves it and it actually seems to love her back so….” The redhead voice trailed off as she ran out of things to say about the devil dog and opened the game box on the coffee table, setting out the board and tile racks, then spread the tiles all out face down in the box lid.

She had a moment of uncertainty when Jonah supposed that nine tiles would be more easy than seven and waffled as to what to say. In the end she decided to be nice. “Jonah, you have played before… right?” The young woman liked to win but she didn't want to take advantage of a friend. There were other games they could play while they waited for the clothes dryer to finish.
