Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
Angel had been up early because the boss Fenigan asked her to go out and train a new one. She had and it had been a waist of her time. She was the best at being a thief and no one was better. She had dropped the lead weight off back at the hideout and then went on her way to do her normal nighttime routine. She ran a hand through her dirty blond hair and her pale blue eyes looked like they did not belong on one like her. She scanned the crowed to see the best marks to steal from and smiled as she started to pick them out one at a time.
She picked the pockets of three people in the area before moving on to a new area. Here she saw a man with some tattoos wearing a baseball style hat backwards and thought how he would be easy to steal from. She slowly walked up to him and bumped into him. She was quick to take his wallet and put it in her jacket pocket as she apologized to the man. "Sorry sir. Did not mean to bump into you." with that she ran towards an alley way and ducked into the sewer entrance that was there. She was quick on her feet as ran through the sewer water and came out a different area of town. Here she sat down and looked through the wallets she had taken searching for money. The cards she did not touch because cards meant bad luck and easy for cops to find and catch her or anyone that used them.
Fenigan knew not to look for her because last time he had she had chopped off a finger from his right hand. He also knew not to send anyone for her because they usually came back with a bloody stump. She knew she was alone in this area and she liked that to be alone. She also did not pay any attention because she had her dagger on hand if someone creped up on her.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
Micah rarely came to this particular area of the city but on this night he was meeting someone about purchasing a part for a car that he had been searching for for a good while. Bunny had been helping him by searching during the daylight hours when he was unavailable and had managed to find someone who had it. She’d gone ahead and set up the meeting for him and when he woke for the night he found the details of the meeting scribble on a notepad on the table. Realizing he only had a few minutes to get there he skipped his usual routine and headed out.
He was standing there waiting on his contact when he felt someone run into him. Her words registered but he wasn’t stupid. He’d felt the wallet slide out of his back pocket and he turned to grab hold of her arm but she managed to slip away from him. “Sneaky little *****,” he muttered under his breath. It wouldn’t be hard to find her. That much he did know, so he slipped into an ally and wrapped his body in the shadows effectively hiding him.
Her scent was still fresh and it wasn’t difficult at all to catch it and follow. She’d gone into the sewers first and after some time he managed to find where she’d escaped. Humans. They were so predictable. When he exited the sewers he spotted her almost at once, just sitting right there in the open. All too easy. Since he was still protected by the shadows he decided to mess with her head. “Think you got somethin that belongs to me. I’ll be takin it back now.”

Angel looked up she knew she was alone she would sense someone if they where there but she could not sense anyone. The voice was a bit startling though as she looked around to find where it might have came from. She looked at the wallet in her hand the photo on the I.D. was the last guy she had stolen from. His name it seemed was Micah. That name stuck in her head because she had heard of it before though the thieves grapevine. She looked though the wallet and only found a few bills in it the rest was all cards. She tossed the wallet into the shadows.
She did not know it was the same shadows that he was standing in so did not care. All the other wallets where gone through and tossed here and there. She had gloves on her hands so no finger prints where on any of the wallets. Taking the hat off her head she shook out her long dirty blond hair and looked around again. Her blue eyes where not normal blue eyes you see on people. She had been called a freak by some of the other thieves but they also knew to leave her alone.
She took a big breath through her nose and smirked. "I know you are there I can smell you. I might not know where you are but I do know you are somewhere. Are you the one that spoke earlier?" She had her hand on the dagger and the bills she had from all the wallets in her inside coat pocket. She was going to go and get something to eat because she was starving. She was also going to find a good pair of shoes even if she had to steal them.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
Micah glanced down at the oh so familiar wallet that hit the ground at his feet. Crouching down he picked it up and scowled when he found that it was pretty much empty. Not that he really cared about the pocket change that she’d pulled out of it. The wallet was just one of those old familiar human habits that he hadn’t tried to break. He wasn’t even all that attached to it. No he was more pissed that he hadn’t noticed she’d stolen it. Didn’t matter now.
Smell him? How the **** could she smell him? She was just a human after all the beating of her heart wasn’t hard to miss. Was there more to her that what he could see? That was a possibility, but even so he wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction of doing what she demanded he do. He wasn’t going to drop the shadows the encased his body and he wasn’t going to answer her questions.
His steps were silent as he moved to the other side of her making sure to keep his distance. If he was gonna play this kind of game with her then he was going to enjoy it. “Wouldn’t you like to know? Kinda pissed off that you stole my pocket change. Do you know how many people I had to steal from to get that much?” He tsked softly, a smirk curling his lips. “And unlike you, amateur, I didn’t get my *** caught.”

Amateur did he just call her that. She was no amateur and this was the first time anyone had ever found her. Shrugging her shoulders she stood up and started to walk toward the nearest McDonalds. "You must be good to be hidden. If you want your cash back your going to have to catch me and I have not meet anyone yet that can catch me. First though I am going to get something to eat and drink. After that I have to get back to the Boss he will be wondering where I am. Stupid man that he is." She walked into the restaurant and ordered a big mac and fries as well as a coke. She then sat down to eat them. She did not move from the table as she sat and ate her meal. If the stranger was going to come in he would if not she would get out the other door and hit the roof tops she loved how building where close together in this area.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
Little did she know he heard every word that she said. But he wasn’t stupid enough to comment on it because he wasn’t going to give away his position. Not that she could see him, the shadows that he had wrapped around his body made sure of that. That attitude of hers was going to be her downfall and once he got his cash back from this little amateur he was going to enjoy knocking her down a few pegs. That **** just didn’t fly with him.
Micah followed her closely and cursed to himself when she entered the restaurant. Now what the **** was he going to do? It didn’t take him long to figure it out. She might think she was being clever but he was far from stupid. This little amateur thief wasn’t going to get the best of him. Wherever she chose to try and run to he would find her.
He waited for just the right time, when there was a lull in activity coming and going from inside. When the last person in a long line left, he slid inside before the door could shut completely. It took him a few minutes to find what he was looking for but find it he did. The fire alarm. Without hesitation he gripped it in his hand and pulled. The sound of a shrieking siren filled the area. People stood up and rushed for the exit but not Micah. He stood where he was, gaze locked firmly on one particular female.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
Angel had finished the sandwich when the alarm went off. Shaking her head she slipped under the table and then into the crowd of people making sure she blended in. She slipped out of the building and when she was a good ways away she was up the fire escape leaving on the ledge the money from the one wallet. She then jumped from one roof to the next but what was bad was she tried to jump one roof to another and missed grabbing on to the side of the roof. This was one time she did not want to happen.
She moved her hands along the roof till she could reach a ledge. She dropped to the ledge and landed breaking her ankle. Man this was so not her night. The boss would kill her if she came back like this. She got up and limped along the ledge till she got to a window. Breaking open the glass she was not counting on a guard to be on the other side. She was shot and limping and she went to the other window. She knew this was the end for her but she did not care. She lived all she needed to hell it was all alone as well. She sat on the ledge the guard screaming out the window at her but she was around the corner again and he was also shooting his gun. The wound was fatal that she had. Right through the chest.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
She wasn’t as sly as she thought she was. Micah saw her slipping out and of course he chose to follow her. He wanted his cash. Mere pocket change to him but it was his and he’d worked to get it. No way was some two bit amateur wannabe pocket picker gonna make off with a dime of what belonged to him. Even if he had to kill her to get it, he’d do it. He wasn’t in the mood to play games.
It was easy to catch her scent and he followed her until he got the the fire escape that she had climbed. Scaling it with the grace of a cat Micah found the money left behind. Quickly counting it he realized that it was everything he’d had in his pocket. Interesting. A honest thief maybe? It really didn’t matter though, he was still going to track her down. Just for the fun of it. She’d pissed him off sticking her hand in his pocket.
He started to follow her scent again but the sound of someone shouting, then a gun going off caught his attention. Leaning around the corner he saw the girl he’d been chasing on the ground then looked up to see a guard leaning out of a window. So that’s who was shouting. Another glance at the ground and he saw she wasn’t moving. Drawing his weapon he looked around, and when he saw the coast was clear he killed the guard then jumped off the fire escape, landing beside her on the ground.
He knew he should just walk away from her and leave her to die. Would serve her right. And that’s what he started to do. Actually took a few steps but when he heard her heartbeat start to falter he cursed and turned around. “I should leave you here,” he muttered as he knelt beside her. Tearing his wrist open with a fang he pressed it to her mouth. “Im going to regret this. I just know it. Drink it.” Vel was going to kill him.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
The blood dripped into her mouth and it went down her throat. She was to weak to do anything but what this stranger had asked her to do. Though what he was doing to her she did not know because her mind was far away. Slowly her eyes closed and her breathing labored. She swallowed the blood in her mouth that was there as more entered it. As the blood hit her inside she crumpled over in pain. This was worse that the pain of dying. She did not like this but could do nothing as it took over her body and changed everything in her. Soon her dark dirty looking hair now had a shine to it. Her brown eyes started to almost glow as they brightened. She did not look skinny as a rail anymore as she filled out. She coughed and then looked up at the man wondering what the hell just happened to her but she was also tired and wanted to sleep from all that her body had just gone through. Slowly her eyes closed and she was out. She did not know what this man would do to her now that he had her and had given her something that seemed to make her feel different. She knew this much she was not dying anymore. She soon was sound asleep on the ledge the sun getting close to coming up.

Re: Steal from the Wrong pocket (Micah)
It seemed that she was capable of listening after all though time would tell if it was going to be a thing. Being faced with life or death, humans would choose life regardless of how it was offered to them. She was no different, though she was still managing to test his patience. His own turning was a blur but he couldn’t remember acting like this. Going by the changes that happened before his eyes he figured he’d done it right. Joy. Why was he already regretting this?
He snorted when she passed out. Really? “Wimp,” he muttered under his breath. The temptation to leave her there was strong, but that wasn’t how he did ****. The sun was going to be up in no time and if he left her there she’d be fried to a crisp. Not a very nice thing to experience for a fledgling. Not a very nice thing for him to do period. “Should leave you here for the laughs. Really, I should.” Not like she could hear him anyways, being passed out and all.
Regardless of how he felt about her he couldn’t just leave her there. So he stood and grabbed her foot, dragging her inside the building just as the sun came up. She was safe for now, and all he wanted to do was go home but he couldn’t. He was stuck with an amateur thief turned fledgling. Grumbling to himself he got comfortable and settled down to wait for night to come.
