Although the blonde had been preoccupied with placing bids of her own but had been keeping track of her own Action Card as well. When her dear friend and mentor, Elizabeth, had bid for her, Alexandrea had been flattered. Any excuse that Alex had she would spend time with the Matriarch of the family and the Allurist knew that the Telepath was well aware of that. She gave the Elder a warm smile and then grinned brightly as Liz bid again, against a vampire Alexandrea knew as 'Doc'.

And that was about all she knew. She didn't even have a clue as to whether or not he was even a real doctor. And the only times she had seen him face to face had when when he had hunted her. Not that the Allurist held that against him, it was his job after all. And the few exchanges she had had with the man on Crownet had always been civil, even when their views had been opposed. And they mostly were.

So the blonde gave Doc a polite smile and a nod, not having much of an opinion on his winning one way or the other. It would be nice to get to know new people but Alexandrea wasn't fond of doctors after her experience at the hands of a certain 'healer'. What would be, would be.

Madison injected quickly after Doc had bid for a second time, and then things slowed down which allowed a bit of fun and horseplay. Zodiac had wandered over and Alex wondered why the Mystic seemed to be giggling but then she spotted Sundial and Dandelion headed over. Alexandrea gave them a wave and started over to say hello when the human girl spoke up and bid on Alex.

The blonde blinked at the thrall and then chuckled. She continued over to the two and gave them both a hug. "SunnyD!, Dandy... great to see you both..."

One eyebrow had inched up into Alex's hairline as she looked Dandelion in the eye. "Whatca doin'???"

David grinned as he dusted at his silk suit he had seen his ex-wife and found it hard to believe she was going for that much. He felt bad for whoever got her she wouldn't be any fun though if he was to buy her he knew what he would do but not at that price he had seen Drusilla as well and wonder what would become of her at at Doc's hands be has bad as Seren if what he heard was true. No he thought it would be far worse than being in Seren's hands but how much would be a fair question in his mind. He had seen Ripper but short of making Ripper wiggle with him in front of Noelle he was out of ideas that's when Lexy caught his eye. Kira's best friend not out of his price range either. He walked up looking at her carefully and turned around. "30k for Blondie here."

Alexandrea blinked in surprise and took a step back. Where on earth had David popped up from? Kira's ex hadn't been around in ages it seemed. Startled, Alex looked around for her fellow Allurist and spoke into her mind. *Um.... Kiwi? Thoughts?* Feeling a bit awkward, Alexandrea gave the man a polite smile and a nod.

"David. Long time no see."

David grabbed his chin as if he had chin hairs he could actually play with. "And yet ya can tell it is me." After his marriage ended he made up his mind to go under cover mainly as a monkey but he also worked as himself. The guy head gangster was in prison now. He was always surprise at pillow talk.

Kira was hanging out in the back, she was here to make money not spend it and Lexy's auction seemed to be the only one not having problems, which was a surprise. She drank down some wine, still wishing she had just stayed home tonight. She looked up when she heard a voice she hadn't heard in a long time.

She heard Lexy's voice in her head next. 'I don't know...I'm sure he still hates my guts so he might be using you to get to me.' she said in her head. She really didn't want more **** going on today.

With a nod, Alexandrea sent loving thought to Kira and smiled at David. She knew it was her friend's special day and it was her own coming up as well but it seemed like never would be getting what they wanted for gifts. But Alex would be a good sport.

Giving David a tight smile, Alex answered his odd remark. "yes, David. I can tell it's you." The Allurist felt she was owed a prize for not rolling her eyes...

David grunted as he put his hands into his silk jacket "I got gray hair now" it wasn't a ton but to him it was it alone made him feel like he was in his fifties instead of his forever 37 year self. "Not all us apparently look the way we enter going into that place as coming out" course that was a good thing. Ripper had shot off his wiggle not to say what he did to his face. "Maybe it's a blonde thing" Kira also always came out the way she went in well minus damage. Was he the only allurist that found himself aged when he came out
"I barely realize it's me in the mirror." Though he didn't mean a real mirror more like a camrea as he aged still in the mirror but it didn't bother him any maybe when he looked to be late fifties early sixties mirror would not be seen in him home... not that he had a place. He was gonna need one again.

Alex pursed her lips and thought before she spoke but decided to just tell him the truth. His head was already big enough but if he was feeling... "old"? The blonde felt inclined to be kind to her fellow Allurist.

"Actually, David. The grey becomes you. If you hadn't have said anything I'd have thought you added it yourself for attention."

She hated to admit it. The man was one of Alexandrea's least favourite people, but he really DID look better with a touch of the grey. He might almost even look dignified if he just kept his clothes on and didn't go wiggle his junk in anyone's face.

Had to be Alexandrea hated his guts he doubted she ever cared about him he could picture Kira and Alexandrea giggling on a big bed he quickly pushed the thought before he really went to far with it. "Whatever ya don't gotta be nice. I don't plan to be. Better start praying to God ya get someone else. Then again heard Doc was bidding on Dru. Poor gal." He would play a bit on those rumors just a bit.
