Is there anywhere I can verify this? I thought the abandoned mansion was the site of the first generation vampires 'last stand' before being wiped out. I didn't think it had any ties to Cobb.
This is not true. At least, I'm pretty sure it's not.
The abandoned Mansion was a Noble home back in the day, owned by Isabella Drake. Which is why Elizabeth/I wanted to purchase it within the first few months of path opening, but can't. I believe it's the only building David won't sell. So Cobb has no ties to it, that I know of on the ooc front. And if he did ic, Liz would have done something ic to take it from his *** back in the day.

Hmmm, interesting...I apologize. I could swear that I recall there being talk way back then about Cobb having his Lab there. Possibly was just that, talk and nothing came of it since Cobb's player kinda poofed from existence. Imma poke around in the archives to see if I can find any mention of Cobb and the mansion.
BUT, at one point Ripper bought the Abandoned Mansion, but for some reason,(Possibly me wanting to kick Alch's azz for it) the purchase owas reversed.

This question might have been answered before, but I honestly don't want to go back forty pages to find out: I keep seeing people with "CrowNet Handles" in their signatures. This implies that posting on CrowNet or in the CrowNet IC Chat is pseudonymous, under whatever the handle is. How exactly does this work? If one vampire posts, is another vampire able to ascertain what vampire posted it? Or is this mostly a cutesy meme-type thing that doesn't actually have any bearing on canon?

He does own the Abandoned Church. He was going to own both the Church & the Mansion, at one point.
