- Human characters will no longer have certain information available to them when looking at another's character sheet. This is to prevent certain information from being taken in-character. They can no longer view race, path, companion or lineage. Only classed humans can see the class details of other humans, but they still won't be able to view the path /race / etc of a vampire (who will show as a pure blood human to them).
Just curious about this. Why can vampires still identify humans as being pathed? And before anyone starts in on the whole aura reading things, humans have a rp power that allows them to identify vampires with out knowing them. I guess I agree on limiting some knowledge on the cs (like lineage and such, but removing race doesnt make sense to me.)
RP powers have never translated to the grid and won't. If you're RP'ing with someone, I'm pretty sure you could just say something to them if you don't know if they are a vampire or not

Yeah, perhaps vamps shouldn't be able to identify classed humans, I agree on that.
As for the Sense Undead roleplay power, well technically if you're viewing a vampire CS then you've clicked on their name, which means your character already has their identity anyway. Which means your character knows they are a vampire.

Not sure if they still do, but RP powers used to show up on appraisal.

The only qualm I have with this would be this scenario: Lazarus is in world chats, someone else joins and an rp begins. Normal in this situation I would hit the grid>more commands>look up cs. This way I know as a player what kind of vibes Lazarus would be getting off of this character.

Agree too, to the 10th degree.
ETA: I couldn't put into words much more than the initial post but.... I'm coming from the point of view of a player that has just one charrie and has no plans to have a vamp character any time soon, if ever.
