He seemed to be annoyed with her and she expected as much, as in his eyes she'd probably chosen Andrew over him when she stayed to make sure that he was okay. She was none too impressed then and groaned when he disappeared. They didn't live that far away, so she knew he must have been desperate to leave the place. She wasn't overly keen of such bright places herself. Apart from the fact that the light was unnaturally bright to her eyes, she had the added issue of having to project and maintain an appropriate looking shadow about her at all times. In some ways this was second nature to her but on nights when she were tired and drained of energy, or at times of great stress, this was much harder to maintain as it took a lot of conscious thought on her part. Vampires were blessed with greater attributes upon the moment of their turning, but even all that extra processing power in the brain wasn't enough at times.

Keara looked around to see Andrew being helped by a couple of people. This quieted her conscience a little and allowed her to follow Enver's example. He obviously didn't want to waste any time and so she would have to tome home too. She made sure that she was out of sight, ducking into a little corridor that was designated 'Employee's only' and disappeared.

Re-appearing inside the asylum, she quickly made her way to the elevator where she knew he'd be waiting. She gave him a look that echoed the one he had given her and stepped inside. Neither of them was entirely happy with the turn of events and there was a good chance they were going to end up in a physical altercation.

"Explain yourself Enver," she said, dagger now in hand. "Why did you that to Andrew do?"

Apparently Keara could not wait until they were in their room, as she spoke the moment the doors closed behind them. The fact that she was upset was not only evidenced by her glare, but by the distance she maintained from him, her back against the wall, she stood on the opposite side to him. The distance she held from him was more for her own sanity than anything, as she still desired him greatly, and if she wasn't in control of herself the explanation she wanted would be quickly forgotten the moment their lips met.

She spoke the second she was in the elevator and all the male could do was scoff at the question. His face read the clear expression, "Really?" on it as the doors closed. "He was fawning all over you." Enver started out, his teeth gritting together slowly. When they touched, they kept pressing against each other, so much that his jaw was throbbing from the pressure.

"Guy was practically throwing himself on you and you were eating it right up." He glared at her, his arms crossing over his chest as the doors pinged open. He stepped out, coolly, not saying another word in case someone from their family was around. He tried not to bring his issues and altercations at the feet of anyone, even his wife at times.

The tall male turned the knob to their cell open and entered. As soon as the door was closed, he turned and looked at her. "Explain yourself." He nodded his head. "Letting that guy paw at you." Maybe that was an overstatement and maybe Enver even knew it deep down, but his wife was almost as guilty as Andrew was in his mind. "I don't give a **** how much money he throws at your feet. I don't like him. You don't even need money."

The male moved to the bathroom to wash his hands free of the guy and his actions. "I make enough money for us. Hell, even the whole family." It was true. Enver had so much money he didn't even know what to do with it anymore. Business in Harper Rock had been too good to him. Most of what he lost in his human divorce was now returned to his various accounts.

He turned on the tap and let the water flow, the male grabbing some soap and making sure to wash off every inch of his hands. He looked up with a frustrated sigh, seeing worse than nothing in the mirror. Seeing a god damn skeleton. He hated seeing that side of him. It reminded him how dead he really was. Enver raised his punching fist, glaring at the mirror and half attempted to punch the damn thing. But he wasn't mad at the mirror. He was mad at Andrew and deep down, even at himself. For going too far. Enver left the bathroom with a hand towel, drying off his hands before he tossed it in the laundry basket. "Stay away from him. Or I'll do a hell of a lot worse to him than I did tonight."

Slapping him soon became the strongest urge she had, so she needn't of worried about her desires overtaking her in that moment. She followed to the cell, wondering why Enver had used the word fawning. Andrew did nothing of the sort, at least not in her eyes. Once inside their room, the door closed and he really began to open up. Again the urge to strike him came and went, and she forced herself to discard the dagger she carried on the floor. The puppies had already hidden themselves away behind the sofa, as they knew better than to try and greet mum and dad when they were arguing. That wasn't to say that either of the vampires would have hurt the dogs, but their yips of delight and interest would have gone unheard and any effort on their part to stem the rising tide was useless.

Keara clenched and unclenched her fingers, trying to remain calm. She knew the darker side of her was surfacing and she had to remind herself that right now she wasn't angry at her husband. Not really. She just wanted to know what had happened, so that she could avoid a repeat of this situation in the future. When he disappeared off into their bedroom, she didn't follow; instead she waited and cleared her own mind. Hearing him re-emerge from the bathroom she went to join him. This was one time when she would have to ignore the rules of their private domain, as stripping naked at this point would be counter productive.

"Need I do not for away from him to stay," she began, her tone calm, her eyes less accusatory than they had been. "Ask much of me you may, but in this wrong you are. Andrew a client is. Harmless he is. Think of him from day to day I do not. Yes. Allowed he is for me to embrace but then know him well I do. Many hours together we have sat for on his projects to work. Excitable he is. And now, design him an outfit I shall have too, to repair what done has been. Brought that upon us both you have, through your fist to use in place of your words. Surprised me you have Enver. Capable of such a misdeed I did not think you."

The disappointment in her voice was evident, but she wasn't trying to make him feel bad. She was trying to make him see that he had overreacted. She didn't want to see a repeat of that kind of thing again. He had brought a bad light upon them with his crazy actions and she wasn't sure that she'd be able to continue to forgive quite so easily if he continued upon this path. Though the fact that he could ever do anything that she could not forgive was up for debate in the first place; she had such unyielding love for him that he could probably banish her from his life and her feelings for him would not change.

She let him hug her. He wasn't her creation or a creation of her creation. Or one of his even. It was obvious the guy had the hots for his girl, the way he was talking her up in front of him. Keara didn't see these things, but Enver did. "Embrace? Embrace?!" Enver scowled. His wife was right stubborn. Maybe even as much as he was.

When had his powers of persuasion started failing him? Even before he was made to be what he was now, Enver had a knack for talking circles around people and lightening the mood. Even persuading things in his favor. Maybe that had to do with his status, but he had always thought it had to do with the way he talked to people and even his good looks. He couldn't push his wife anymore than he could a honda civic down the damn block. It wasn't very Allurist like of him. Since meeting his wife, Enver didn't believe he held much sway with his words and thoughts anymore. They seemed to meet in the middle a lot more than he'd like to, if he gave it some real thought. But he also knew that was his selfish self rearing its ugly head about. That things were different now that he was a vampire.

"So it's fine for you to get hugged on by a well known human client, but if some chick from our family even looks at me, that's a different story?" Enver scoffed at the absurdity of it all! It was ridiculous! It was hypocritical! A billion-gazillion times over! Enver let out a sigh of frustration before he started up again.

"No. I don't think so. Uh-uh." Enver shook his head, his fists clenching at his sides as he thought about how often the dick got to put his hands on his wife. One time too many in his head. "I'll send him a cheque for a suit. Hell, I'll send him to italy to get a ******* suit. But that's where it ends." He nodded his head, and crossed his arms over his chest, daring his wife to defy him.

Enver was angrier than she'd seen him in a long time and the whole thing was just a huge misunderstanding. But then this was how most of their arguments began; one of them took something wrong and then took it out on the other. Thankfully they almost, always stuck it out and worked it through in one sitting. The outcome was the only certainty of the journey and they both enjoyed that part, so she'd come to believe that this is what kept Enver talking even when he'd rather walk away. That, and the fact that he knew she'd summon him back to her if he tried to leave when she still wanted him there.

He was turning this around on her though and that's when the uglier side of her nature reared its head. Of course it was different when it came to him, she knew what those women were thinking. She could read it in their eyes. Or so she thought. Keara believed Enver to be the most enchanting creature on the planet. She had absolutely no doubt that if he wanted someone or something that he could get it. He was too charming for his own good, this is something else she knew about him. He had the uncanny ability to charm the opposite sex without even trying. Though he did sometimes get accuse of trying. When it came to Enver and other women, all rational thought went out the window. Keara struggled to keep her composure even around the females of the family. Where they differed of course, was in the target of their rage. Enver had put everything on Andrew, while Keara focused upon Enver; it was his fault that he was irresistible to women.

"See you do not the way in which look at you they do," she began. She was no longer calm, now she was getting a little annoyed by it all. "Want you they do. Know this also true to be you do. So that different is. Speaking we are of Andrew. He harmless is. He human is. Think you do that at to him could look, as look to you I do? Insane you are."

Keara growls and clenches her fists, her hands at her sides. The urges to punch him or kiss him once more waging deep inside of her. She wanted to strike him for his stupidity. She'd never take notice of anyone the way she did her husband and he knew it, at least she thought he did. The desire to kiss him came from another emotion, a more possessive one. She wanted to prove to him that he was all that mattered to her and she knew that physical contact would be the way to achieve this. She was perfectly ambivalent however and so she just stood there, her nails biting into her palms as she tried to decide which of her urges to listen too.

A hand went up to his face as the male listened to her go on about how women looked at him. A groan came from him as his hand practically covered his entire face. "They look at me because of how damn old I am." The hand dropped from his face as he nodded his head. "Physically speaking, I'm probably one of the oldest vampires there are. Appearance wise." Enver didn't believe for a second anyone in the Vedarian line or otherwise gave him the time of day in that aspect.

"Insane is letting you let that guy keep on hugging you." Enver scowled as the hand went from his face back to his side. The male sighed, then sat at the foot of their bed. He started working his shoes off his feet as he thought about what to say next. "I don't like him." Enver reinforced the idea with his wife as one shoe made its way off him. "You wouldn't like it if he was a she and had done that to me. You know it's true." He looked up at his wife as he sat the shoe on the floor.

"I'm sorry I punched him." At the time he hadn't been. But now he was sorry. Sorry because his wife was going to see him again and spend time along with him. Getting felt up on. And sorry because the business side of him understood what he had done could have potentially jeopardized her business on a lot of fronts. And his wife in general. Enver started working off his other shoe as Gizmo finally trotted over and started claiming some of the bed as his own. Now that the arguing seemed to calm down between Enver and his wife, the dog thought that maybe he could start demanding the attention he wanted. "But I know I'm right. I can just feel it. The guy wants you." Enver hoped that was a good enough explanation. Enver knew what he felt, and nothing his wife said would change his mind.

His explanation didn't sit right with her and not just because she knew it to be wrong, but because he seemed to actually believe it. He was perfect to her. She didn't see his age. Though of course she came from a different time, when it was quite normal for young women to be matched with older gentlemen. He may look mature n the outside but to her he was a boy. Her silly boy and she hated to hear him put himself down. It broke her heart to hear that and the more he spoke, the more her mood softened.

Once he was seated on the bed and both his shoes had been discarded off to one side, Keara crossed the short distance to him and worked her way to stand between his knees. Tenderly she cupped his face and raised his chin so that she could look into his eyes. Any thought Gizmo had of getting attention at this point was sadly misplaced, as for Keara, in that moment and much like many more that had passed and were to come, only Enver existed.

"My silly boy. Wants me he does for designs. Nothing more. No interest does he in me have and even if such an interest there was on side, nothing of it would come. I am yours. As you mine are. This you must always remember."

Keara gently brushed her lips against his, a smile on her lips as she pulled back and continued.

"Old you are not My Love. Quite young you are."

She studied his face for a moment and ran the fingers of her right hand through his hair.

"Handsome. Charming. Intelligent. The fantasy of every woman's heart. That is what you are."

Her words were filled with so much thought and sincerity that she spoke them perfectly. She looked lovingly into his eyes and despite the pangs of jealousy she felt at the thought of another woman in his arms, she seemed completely calm, content even.

"Love you I do my Enver. No-one that could ever change."

Her speech fell back into it's usual patter and before he could object to anything she'd said, she captured his lips with her own and attempted to show him just how desired he was by her in one single, perfect kiss.

Normally, her calling him her silly boy would have just rolled off his shoulders. But Enver knew what he knew. Enver knew what he felt. Andrew was not just some guy who wanted Keara to make him look good. Not without her on his arm. He wasn't being silly. And he'd prove it.

"Yeah, I know." Enver knew that Keara wouldn't ever do anything, but that still didn't ease his mind. Before she knew what was even going on, it'd be too late. The guy would push his boundaries and get further than he should. He sighed before she kissed him, then shook his head. It still sat funny with him. And he wanted her to know what he was feeling.

A hand wrapped around her waist, the other on one of her arms on the lower end of it and focused on what it was he was thinking and what he was feeling. Concern was first to crop up, even though it was probably illogical. His wife was strong and could take care of herself. Especially against a human. Then some spark of anger as he thought about Andrew alone with his wife. Alone in a room where he was half naked. A sense of bitterness spiraled through, along with the desire to protect and rip apart the guy. Almost like what a dog would to an intruder as they walked by the family's home the dog belonged to. But in the mix of all these feelings was love. Raw, unconditional love for the woman in front of him. And that love had turned Enver in to someone he didn't recognize sometimes. It was wicked, corrupt and the guy would do anything to protect her. For her.

The male tugged her in his lap, then wrapped his arms around her. He let a few seconds linger between them before he said something. "I can't help it. The way I feel about you. When others are around you. When I know what they want to do to you. I'm not just your silly boy. I'm your husband and no husband wants to share what's his. Not for one damn seconds." Enver could feel his temper start to flare up again as he vocally expressed his concerns. He'd break every finger of Andrew's that touched his wife, anywhere. Even for a second. As soon as that thought cropped up, Enver stood up. Fear for the person he was becoming or maybe already was flooded him and might have even been felt by his wife. "Forget it. Do whatever." Enver said coolly as he tugged his shirt off over his head. He trusted his wife and even though he didn't trust Andrew, he hoped she would take care of a problem before it became one. Any way it needed to be. talking or thinking about it anymore would show her a side of him he wasn't wanting to show. A side he didn't want to feel either.

Her kiss didn't have quite the effect she was hoping for and she would have been quite upset if it wasn't for this new gift of hers. The way he held her, almost at arms length as he went through an array of emotions saddened her. She couldn't sway his emotions. She couldn't stop him from believing the worst. Even as she felt that though, she felt how much he loved her. She hadn't needed a power for that one though, she felt that daily. She saw it in his eyes every time he looked at her. Every time he was with her, touching her. And she felt exactly the same way about him.

Once on his lap, she couldn't help but smile. The words were unnecessary but she wasn't about to stop him from speaking, as Enver at times could be a very cagey and unwilling to share what he was thinking and feeling. He'd opened up over time, but even now she knew he still had trouble communicating at times. Like this whole situation with his mum and Lorde. But at least now that was semi out of the way. When he stood up, effectively pushing her off if his lap, she frowned. She had hoped that they would have been able to calm him by now but it just wasn't to be. When he tried to end the conversation, Keara wasn't sure if she should just let it drop or not. Enver obviously wasn't in the mood to discuss it any further and she wasn't sure pushing him on the matter would help.

"Know you do that lose me you never shall. Yes?" Shed picked up on his fear but mixed it with his words, not realising that he feared himself, rather than the situation of her with another man. "Love you. And only you I do."

Keara moved to take a hold of both his hands. He'd made it a little more difficult for her to concentrate what with the fact he'd removed his shirt but even as her eyes drank him, she found the willpower to raise his hands to her lips and lightly kissed the back of each before looking up into his eyes.

"Tell you I could to worry not. But listen to me you likely shall not. Tell you I can again how I feel. And yet know I do part of what feeling you are. So know I do that doubt my love for you, you do not."

Now as she spoke, her hands began to wander over his skin. Her fingertips tracing his scars, moving from one to the next without the need to look for them; so familiar she was with his body that she could do this without thinking. Desire is what drove her, and Enver likely knew it. There wasn't any hostility left in her body. She wasn't angry or upset. All she felt for him was love. Her hands drifted up to cup his neck and she pulled him down into another kiss. This time she wasn't trying to convey a thing, she was just doing what came naturally to her when he was with her.

"Worry not My Love. Please," she whispered into his ear before she began to trace the curve of his neck with a series of light kisses, her hands now wrapped around him, her fingertips biting into his shoulders, as she held him to her.

He knew that, didn't he? That she would never leave him. Just like he'd never leave her. Still, sometimes, the male believed she would smarted up. Grow wise and kick him to the curb after she kicked him out of their bed, and their home. And he knew she loved him too. Still, there were a lot of other men that could offer her more than he could. Sure, he had a lot of possessions, but he wasn't the strongest or fastest vampire out there. He'd never won a raid of any kind. Deep down, Enver worried for the night she was out in one of those damn buildings and found her equal in the things she enjoyed doing.

She did her best to try and ease him. Not just with words, but with actions too. As her hands moved over him, Enver could feel the love she had for him. And it was confirmed for him. She was his. He had to protect what was his. He knew just what to do. The male wrapped one arm around his wife, while the other fished in his pants pocket and snagged his phone. After he did this, the male wrapped the other arm around his wife and rested his chin on the top of her head. He fished for Crash's name in his phone directory, then sent him a text, that read: Hey. I need you to keep an eye on Keara's place of business. And some douche that keeps sniffing around her. His name's Andrew. Keep your nights free for the next week. Report back anything you find out about the guy. Will send a description in a few.

Swype apps were the best creation ever. And the worst. Sometimes Enver wrote out things that didn't make sense. This was not one of these times. With the message sent, Enver tossed the phone to a couch in their room and placed a kiss on the top of her head. "I know." He said about all the things she told him, as he nodded. He sighed. "I might have over-reacted." He admitted, then flashed her a grin as a finger found her chin and tilted it up. "I'll send the guy an apology." A kiss was pressed to her lips. "Later." A wide grin formed on his face as Enver picked his wife up and carried her to their bed.
